Patients menstrual cycle started the day she received the moderna vaccine, the next day,02/13/2021, she stated it was heavier than she had ever had. Patient reported changing birth control 1-2 months previously. On 02/16/2021 Patient's father reported she was standing in the kitchen and her pupils were huge. Patient told parents she couldn't see or hear. Patient became unconscious for approximately 3 seconds. took patient to ER. ER was unable to find a cause. Loss of vision and hearing lasted approximately 3-5 minutes.

I haven?t gotten my period in over a year and my mother hasn?t gotten hers in years. we both received the vaccines (at different times) and we both have gotten our period since (i believe she will be doing one of these too)

Patient received her first COVID vaccination on 4/14. The day after her vaccination, she had fever and body aches which have since resolved. Also had a HA which has since improved. However, since COVID vaccination she has still felt "foggy" and fatigued. States that she sometimes feels that she can't get a good breath and is feeling anxious. Admits that she feels shaky and tired. Admits that she is currently on her menses which started the day after the COVID vaccination and has been heavier than normal which might attribute to her fatigue. Admits lack of appetite but denies nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, chills, HA, SOB, dizziness, tremors, CP, HAs, weakness, numbness, tingling.

I had other symptoms earlier on that I reported using v safe but today I started my period (while on birth control) two weeks and one day early. I normally have a very light bleed in day one and it is very heavy and has lots of clots. My first spot of blood appeared around 3 pm and I have bled about 15 ml since then. I know the volume as I use a menstrual cup. My first bleed day I normally don?t bleed but one small clot ~2 ml in volume.

Patient stated that when she had her period (menstrual cycle) following the vaccine her symptoms were much worse/more severe than they normally are. Did not provide any more specific details.

My daughter had finished her normal menstrual period on 4/6/21 (which is barely a period due to being on The Pill). On 4/19 while playing soccer she started to bleed acutely and profusely. She experienced severe cramping all event as well. This entire episode lasted for approximately 3 days. We immediately called her OBGYN. Who specifically asked if she had gotten the Covid vaccine. When I responded yes, it was communicated that this type of incident was happening a lot.

Dose two was on 05/15/2021 also at a covid vaccination site lot 026C21A My daughter has not had a period since right before her first vaccination on 17 Apr (second dose 15 May) and it is currently 2 June and she is NOT pregnant. I am trying to find a GYN appt for here assap

8 days following the first Covid vaccine administration, patient started with vaginal bleeding that persists until today unless maintained on high dose oral contraceptives. She is currently under the care of a gynecologist who is trying to manage her symptoms.

Hepatosplenomegaly. Patient new to me in hematology clinic, referred to rule out bleeding disorder due to irregular periods, and had palpated splenomegaly that was then confirmed by imaging and has persisted. This finding was not previously on other imaging and was an incidental finding on physical exam confirmed by ultrasound and MRI.

Moderna Covid-19 vaccine administered 5/25/21 5/26/21: Experienced the following in injection arm: - Large red spot around the injection site - Itchy - Arm very sore and hurts to move - From pain scale of 1-10 (10 being the worst) reported it at a 7 - Upper arm is swollen - Took Tylenol and applied ice to the injection site; Called off of work. 5/28/21: Swelling in left arm started to subside, the itching stopped and patient could move arm around. Spot was still "warm to the touch" and the redness around the injection site has spread. No leg swelling or calf pain. Picture was emailed in via MyChart. 6/22/21: HIVES - Started on left leg 6/12 and progressed since then; now spreading to upper/inner thigh and showing on right leg. Hives red, itchy. Similar to previous allergic reactions. Picture sent via MyChart. LEG SPASMS - Started in the left leg on 6/7 and have continued; now altering legs. Describes as "charlie horses" in calves typically at night. PERIOD - was late but did have it and now bleeding stopped. Patient has also had intermittent tension headaches since getting the vaccine. Takes Tylenol, rests and these resolve. There is no shortness of breath, chest pain. No facial lip or tongue swelling.

First vaccine received 3/27/21 Patient started to have irregular vaginal bleeding 4/22/21 Second vaccine received 4/24/21 Patient continued to have unscheduled irregular bleeding Recently followed up this month, reports bleeding resolved but did not recall exactly when bleeding stopped.

Moderna COVID?19 Vaccine EUA: Had a major effect to my menstrual cycle. I was 10 days late to having my period and when I got it my cramps were heightened and there was a very heavy flow.

I have not had my period for 4 months since I received an IUD. About 24 hours after receiving my vaccine I experienced cramping and heavy bleeding. The bleeding lasted for three days and then stopped. Also had a fever (100.0) both friday night and saturday morning.

Two days after getting my 2nd dose I started heavy vaginal bleeding that is gushing more than I have ever experienced and is going on now for the 2nd day. I contacted my OB/GYN and she said that she has had a few patients with this and if it does not get any better to let her know in a few days. I have bled more in the last 2 days than ever having my period.

Dizziness, hot feeling, sweaty, anxious, throat tingly, throat swelling, fast heartrate 5 minutes after vaccine. Rest of the day had a heavy chest, nausea, chills, tingly face, numb fingers and toes. Weeks later, late period.

Started out as regular period but continued to bleed well after normal cycle end. Got the first COVID shot in the middle of normal period cycle. April 12, 2021; Before seeking medical treatment/ advice, took a pregency test, it was positive. Went to ER, as IUD was still in place. Blood tests were done as well as ultrasounds. Eptopic pregnency, failure of IUD. Removal of IUD, 3 Methotrexate shots later. HAd to take 3 weeks off of work.

Received Moderna vaccine and since has had irregular periods. Late menses after first vaccine by 2 weeks; 2nd vaccine no menses x 3 weeks; on OCP's.

27Dec2020 - patient developed some swelling (went about 1 inch out from injection site) and discomfort at the injection site - had taken Advil and was using a cool compress. 29Dec2020 - patient had to leave work early since she was not feeling well - very fatigued and a little dizzy (able to eat/drink) - denied any COVID illness s/s (no cough, fever, loss of taste/smell, etc). She ended up going to the local ED - since she was still very fatigued and was feeling like she was going to pass out - blood work and U/S done - this is where she found out she had been pregnant but had lost the pregnancy (no heart beat). Per her report - all other blood work was unremarkable. No other medications given to her during this visit and was just told that she would be 'passing the products of conception within this next week'.

Patient received first dose of Moderna vaccine. Later that day, patient experienced heavy vaginal bleeding that included blood clots and required the use of a sanitary pad. She had her period the previous week and it had since stopped so she does not believe it's her period. At the time of the call to the pharmacy, 8:30am the following day, patient was still actively bleeding. Advised patient to monitor for other signs and symptoms of bleeding such as excessive bruising, nose bleeds, gum bleeds, and to check her stool for the appearance of coffee grounds. Patient was calling to try to find a doctor nearby who could see her. Advised patient that if she could not find a doctor to go to urgent care if the bleeding continued or worsened.

Menstruation started two weeks early (approximately one week after vaccine) and lasted for 14 days, varying between light and heavy throughout the two weeks. Also had high fever (reaching 103.8) for four days (starting two days after vaccination) which was reported, and a rash of purple spots across my chest, arms, and back started after fever stopped. Rash was not very bothersome, but alarming. Experienced frequent nausea and lightheadedness, but I also was experiencing those symptoms at the time due to my concussion. One week exactly after vaccination all symptoms were gone and no treatment was needed.

Headache lasting 36 hours. Heavy menstrual cycle on the day after receiving the vaccine. I had to change my tampon every 2 hours.

12 hours after vaccine hospitalized for shortness of breath and pain down to fingertips. Was given lots of antihistamine and ibuprofen. Couldn't use left arm entirety of next day. Affected menstruation by heavier bleeding and heavier cramps.

I received my shot on Wednesday, and on Saturday I started my period (on time). I use a menstrual cup and I usually have a very light flow, usually not filling the cup throughout the course of the day. Today (Sunday) I woke up with my cup having overflowed. Since then, it has overflowed two more times, so my period is significantly heavier than usual.

I am currently in the middle of my birth control pack and I have started my period two weeks early. No treatment has been sought or test results done.

My first menstrual cycle after the first dose was very short and very light, which is very abnormal for me. My second menstrual after the second dose is even more abnormal. My cramps this month were the worst I?ve ever felt, and I?ve currently been bleeding for 26 days. Long periods are nothing new to me, my usual period is about 12-14 days, but I?ve never gone longer.

Pt said pt has possibility of being pregnant d/t last period was 4/2/2021, regular period every 30 days, but pt missed this month period. Pt said that pt concerns pt got pimples on her both chicks for 3 weeks since pt changed her facial cream. Pt is taking tylenol for ili symptoms. Pt is educated covid vaccine side effects. Pt scheduled urgent care 5/19/2021 for consultations.

On 12/31/2020 I had a headache and I was tired. Over then next two days my arm was very sore. That subsided by 1/02/21. On 1/07/21 I woke up around 8 AM with my arm being sore again and at ejection site I had a red circle. The ejection site was also swollen. I took a benedryl and the pain subsided but the red circle continued to grow. On 1/08/21 the circle got even bigger (even with taking two 25 mg tablets of benedryl before bed) and it?s warm to the touch. Also on 1/07/2021 at around 6 pm I began menstrual spotting (this would be in the dead middle of my usual cycle). It continued into today ,1/08/2021. This is unusual for me as I have never experienced spotting in the middle of my cycle. Also on today 1/08/2021 my arm soreness has returned as the red circle is growing bigger around the ejection site (approximately 3 1/2 inches by 2 inches). I?m also experiencing extra tiredness and a headache.

Pt reports receiving dose #1 of the COVID-19 vaccine (Moderna) on 1/26/21. She reports feeling intense abdominal cramping that evening into the next morning, and she reports starting her menstrual period that morning. The pt continued to have 2-3 days of heavy menstrual bleeding then 2-3 weeks of intermittent passage of menstrual blood and clots with continued cramping. The pt has been receiving depo provera injections on time for approximately two years, and she reports that she has not had her period during this time. After receiving the COVID-19 vaccine was when she resumed her menstrual period after a long time. She reports to her primary care clinic today to receive her depo injection on time, and she reports having some menstrual bleeding today. This RN consulted with a provider on site who encouraged use of tylenol for abdominal cramping, maintaining hydration and rest. This RN asked pt to call back next week after her 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to report status of menstruation and any side effects from depo injection or covid vacccine. It is also important to note that the pt has a hx of dysmenorrhea, but the two years of depo injections have suppressed her regular menstrual cycle.

The morning after the vaccine, I had a really awful headache and swollen arm, that was incredibly touch-sensitive. Around 3 pm that day, 25 hours after the injection I was hit with severe nausea. About an hour later, I began vomiting and had diarrhea. For some time, I was unable to keep water down. I called a 24-hour nurse line, and they advised contacting my doctor's emergency line. I did, they said if I couldn't make it through the night without keeping water down I needed to go to the hospital. Luckily, right before bed I drank some water and was able to make it through the night. The next morning, I had a telehealth visit with someone from my doctors office to review symptoms. Today I have had waves of nausea, but no vomiting. I have had diarrhea, and I had a spontaneous period that was very heavy and two weeks early today (2 days post vaccine).

It was weird again; Turning into a bruise; Felt crappy; A couple of bad breakthrough bleeding episodes; Menstrual cycle was interrupted; Felt off; In her right leg raised hive; Headache; A spontaneous report was received from a consumer concerning a 21-year-old female patient, who received Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine (mRNA-1273) and experienced a couple of bad breakthrough bleeding episodes, Menstrual cycle was interrupted, Felt crappy, Felt off, In her right leg raised hive, Headache, Turning into a bruise and It was weird again. The patient's medical history was reported as migraines. Concomitant medications were not reported. On 27 Feb 2021, prior to the onset of the event, the patient received their first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (Lot number: 013A21A) intramuscularly in the right thigh for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. On 27 FEB 2021, the patient experienced Raised hive (Urticaria) about the size of a half dollar, after that she "felt off" (fall) had a headache (Headache) and Felt crappy (Malaise), and she had a couple of bad breakthrough bleeding episodes (Hemorrhage) which was assessed as medically significant, and the patient also experienced interrupted Menstrual cycle (Menstrual disorder). On 07 MAR 2021, the patient experienced Turning into a bruise (Contusion) and on 08 MAR 2021 it was weird again (Feeling abnormal). Laboratory details were not provided. Treatment medication was provided as Tylenol. Action taken with mRNA-1273 in response to the events was not reported. At the time of this report, the outcome of the events Hemorrhage, Menstrual disorder, Contusion, Malaise, Feeling abnormal, Fall, Urticaria and Headache was considered as unknown.; Reporter's Comments: Based on the current available information and temporal association between the use of the product and the start date of the events, a causal relationship cannot be excluded.

Vaginal mucosal bleeding and severe headaches hours after the vaccination, bleeding lasting for 8 days until stopped with tranexamic acid.

I concluded my menstrual cycle a few day before the vaccine and two weeks after the vaccine I began my menstrual cycle again. I?m not sure it?s related to the vaccine but it has never happened to me before. So I thought it would be best to report since if heard similar things from other women. It?s heavier than usual and more painful. Also I had pain in my left armpit that went away after a few days that started about a week before my menstrual cycle. I?m guessing it was swollen lymph nodes due to the vaccine because I have seen other women report that as well.

Extremely swollen left breast, the same side of vaccination. Breast is double the size and double the weight and extremely painful. Lymph nodes are NOT swollen, right breast is NOT swollen. Swelling started shortly after vaccination and have continued 3 days later.

I developed Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (low levels of platelets) and menorrhagia due to the vaccine according to my doctor. I believe there have been about 30 cases of this occurring so far. In my case, I took the vaccine and felt relatively tired for two days. There were no other symptoms. About a week later, I got my period after not having it for a couple months. The blooding was light for a few days, but then got extremely heavy. After about a week of very heavy bleeding, I went to urgent care. They took blood tests, and found that I had a critically low level of platelets (6 platelets when the normal range is 150-400). I was admitted to the ER for multiple days, and they gave a platelet transfusion and IVIG fluids, which has helped considerably. I also had to take steroids to suppress my immune system so that my platelets could increase.

By the evening of April 16th, I was experiencing a fever of 103.5 after already medicating an hour prior. On the 17th, my fever continued and I noticed vaginal bleeding. On the morning of April 18th, I went to the emergency room because I was still experiencing this bleeding, as well as bleeding from my nose. We came to the conclusion that I had an ovarian cyst rupture.

Two days after my vaccine I started to get breast pain which is strange because I just had my period 1.5 weeks prior. So it?s like I started PMSing a bit early. I got my period a few days ago which means I had my period twice this month which is very uncommon for me.

I usually have a very regular menstrual cycle and my period was late by a full week. Also had unusual period side effects.

Menstrual cycle is regular, lasts 8-14 days long, on birth control, (Nexplanon) . Menstrual cycle began 4/22/21 was supposed to finish on 5/6/21, day of vaccine administration. 1 hr after vaccine administration of the vaccine, menstrual became stronger, had heavier flow, and patient experienced dizziness and fatigue. 5/15/21, menstrual cycle is still strong and has been continually going for 23 days. Current CBC and estrogen count unknown.

I have a nexplanon arm implant for birth control which has stopped my period for the last 3-4 years. I started spotting and sort of having a period about three weeks after getting the second moderna covid shot. This is really strange for me and abnormal, and want it to be a side effect that is included in patients knowledge.

The date of the second dose was 05/25/2021, which is when the side effects started. I had the normal and expected effects, such as a sore arm and fatigue. I began my period that morning, before I went in for the shot. I would like to be as detailed as possible, so I will likely include some graphic details in this description. My apologies in advance. My period normally lasts 3-4 days and is moderate (as far as I know) regarding blood loss. After the second dose, the flow was extremely heavy and my period lasted for almost an entire week (7 days). It was miserable. I was bloated and tender in that area, and extremely tired. I was also cramping, which is unusual for me nowadays. About two weeks after that, I felt a stabbing or ripping pain in the uterus area. It stayed for about two days, throbbing every minute or so. I could not sleep those days. It was not so unbearable that I could not perform everyday actions, but it was taking up a good portion of my thoughts that weekend. After that, it went away and I thought it was over. About three days ago from today (today is June 22nd, or 06/22/2021), the pain returned and I knew it meant the start of my period. The timing was normal. The next day I began bleeding, but the flow is again much heavier than normal. The pain is back and much worse than before. I am going through many more pads than usual and it is, for me, a worrying amount of blood. Since this is the second period in a row I am experiencing this, I felt it was necessary to report it in. I hope this is okay and not taking resources from those with worse issues. I would also like to note that I experienced my first panic attack in 5 years the night of my second dose (for no reason- they've always had a concrete reason for occurring) and my anxiety was notably worse that week (I am on medication and was otherwise doing very well managing the anxiety). During the attack I experienced the usual symptoms: my throat closing up and making it harder to breathe, and uncontrollable shaking and crying. I was not thinking of anything that would make me nervous at the time of the attack. I had just finished an online gaming session with a friend and was showering to prepare for bed, so I was fully relaxed. Additionally, my mental health has notably dipped a bit over the last month, though there are a number of factors at play and I don't want to blame the vaccine for that. However, I was told to at least make note of it here just in case there does end up being a correlation.

Extreme period cramps. Never had any symptoms (including period cramps) in 11 years of having my menstrual cycle. Excruciating pain in 1st and 2nd day of period starting

After receiving vaccination, patient developed breast tenderness, itching and was given Benadryl and Decadron. She reported the itching resolved after the medications and then she is still complaining of breast pain. She noticed 2 drops of fluid out of her right nipple. I do not necessarily know that this is an allergic reaction I am just not sure what to make of the coincidence with the Covid immunization it could be entirely unrelated. Advised follow-up with her PCP regarding these issues. Return precautions discussed. She verbalized agreement and understanding with plan of care. Sent home from ED.

The patient is a G3P2 with a history of 2 prior term vaginal deliveries. Her last menstrual period was 1/15/21. Estimated due date was 10/22/21 based on her last menstrual period. She had her first covid vaccine on 3/4/2021. She saw me for her first prenatal visit on 3/24/21 and was asymptomatic. Fetal heart tones were not appreciated on doppler. She was referred for a dating ultrasound, which she never completed. She began having some bleeding sometime after the appointment on 3/24. She got her 2nd covid vaccine on 4/1/21. She began having pelvic cramping on 4/3. went to emergency dept 4/4. u/s showed an 8week 2 day gestation with no heart beat. she continued to have bleeding and cramping 4/5 and likely completed the miscarriage that day.

A little over two weeks after my first dose of the Moderna vaccine, I received my period unexpectedly, and it was heavier than usual, and I had breakthrough bleeding after.

Consistent headache - Tylenol or Excedrine relieved Heavy period - began 4 days early. Excessive blood clots and amount of blood. Left arm pain- unable to move arm without pain x 3 days. Tylenol relieved Fever- began 2 days after. Tylenol reduces fever.

VOMITTING, NASEAUA, HAEDACHES, DEHYDARTION, IRRREGULAR MENSTRUAL BLEEDING, LOSS OF APPETITE, EXHAUSTION ,STOMACH PAIN, EXTREME CRAMPS, BACKPAIN , AND STIFF MUSCLES

My period often is only heavy for 1 day and it lasts for 2 to 3 days. I have had a heavy non stop period for 5 days.

Headache within first 4 hours. Chills after 8 hours. Fever and body aches after 10 hours. Fever of 102 degrees Fahrenheit lasting for one day. Severe bilateral buttock and thigh pain lasting for one day. Cramps and vaginal/pelvic pain lasting one day. Moderate swelling and redness at injection site 2 days after injection.

the next period I experienced after my second Moderna vaccine was extremely abnormal for me; it lasted two weeks (from 2/25/21 to 3/8/21), and was much heavier than normal; I also experienced more intense cramps, mood swings, and headaches than I normally get when I menstruate.

I missed my period the month I got the vaccine, which is very bizarre because my period is very regular.

I began my period suddenly and very painfully to the point blood was running down my leg. it stopped7 days later and then began the following day for another 5 days and then stopped for a day and then started for another 3 days. I finally Stopped having these symptoms but they were all accompanied by increased bleeding compared to normal and they were more painful.

Pt developed a raised, firm red spot at the injection site. Pt has implanted BC in same arm as injection. Pt experienced first period in 1 1/2 years.

Allergies got more severe pretty immediately after my second shot. But the number one thing I have concern about is I haven?t gotten my period since my second dose. I have an IUD which makes my periods regular, but I have not had by period since 4/7, so it is late by two full weeks now and it has not returned yet.

The day following my vaccination, I woke up to cramps and some spotting. I don?t typically bleed or have periods on my birth control, so this was out of the ordinary. It lasted for the day.

Prolonged period bleeding and cramping beyond normal frequency before starting birth control. I was on birth control during the time to manage painful cramping, but since getting the shot my next period had cramping that lasted a full week, while before on birth control I had almost no cramping, and before that cramping would only last two days. The bleeding was light also lasted about a full week, while before on birth control it was light for a day or two, and before that would be heavy for about five days.

I had a typical fever/chills and headache but then a couple days later I found a lump in my right breast which lasted about a week before going away

After the second dose, I experienced a high fever and body aches in the evening which lasted 3 days. I later in the month had a period; I do not have my menstruation with the medication I am on and have not for 6 years.

Extreme tingling and numbness in head, legs, arm and hands started hours after receiving and lasted 3 days. Fever/body chills lasted two days after receiving. Extreme dizziness hours after receiving and lasting about 3 days. Abnormal period began one week later (2.5 weeks early) with terrible period cramps, abnormal increase in blood loss, nausea and headache. About a week and a half after receiving first vaccine I felt real congested, stuffy, and like I had a cold. Abnormal for a generally healthy person without history of chronic or really any sicknesses. Chronic ?cold? feeling every couple weeks since receiving (today?s date is june 26). The tingling and numb sensation happens every day to this day in my left forearm, palm and fingers, and on the left side of my skull. It starts gradually and lasts for about 20-40 minutes, about 2-5 times a day. No amount of movement or massage for blood flow helps. Still experiencing irregular and abnormal cycles, and extreme heavy flow almost at once that has never been normal. New direct stabbing and cramping pain has began to occur since my first cycle after the shot. It?s a sharp stabbing and cramping pain in my reproductive organs area. Worsening hormonal acne with no changes to previous routine/no new medications, etc.

On 1/29/21 claims she got her menstrual cycle 2 weeks earlier than usual cycle. Total of 4 days of menstrual bleeding.

Fever, chills, all over aches, lower pelvic pain, lower back pain started all of a sudden. I went directly to my GYN, thinking a UTI. Doctor checked urinalysis, vaginal swab and hormonal bloodwork. All came back normal. Was sent to urgent care to have a covid test and flu test. Both came back negative.

The day I got my shot, by 5:30pm I was to tired and week to even move. I didn?t know I was pregnant at the time because it was so early. 7 days later I found out I was pregnant, 4 weeks along. And three days later on 3/25 I miscarried.

Two days post receiving the first dose of theCOVID-19 Vaccine by Moderna, I noticed menstrual spotting and abdominal cramping despite being on birth control and being a week away from my regularly scheduled period. This is extremely out of the ordinary because my periods are very regular and I have never experienced break through bleeding in between my periods. I wasn?t given a lot number for my first dose But the primary point is that not too long after my first dose I began a menstrual cycle outside of my very regular cycle which had ended more than a week prior to this one. My sister and I were talking and she had the same reaction, and I think a good thing to note is that we have birth control implants though they?re different brands I think

Monthly cycle started 4 days early, 2 days after vaccination. Have a history of irregular periods but they are usually late and have only been early one other time. Have not experienced this with any other vaccine. Have had all recommended vaccines with the exception of the HPV vaccine. Other than coming early, the cycle was normal.

Started to feel loopy around 3-4 hours post vaccine. Left arm (vaccination site) started to hurt, this lasted about 2-3 days. Napped and slept off the exhaustion. About 8 hours post vaccine, started to feel feverish, like the flu. Had fever, chills, bone aches throughout the 8 hour mark until about 24 hours post vaccine. Period bleeding occurred on day 2 and has been atypical (usually no period), very dark and bright red, a bit each day.

I got every symptoms of side effects that showed on the website after I got the second dose of vaccine and those symptoms stayed for almost a week. Beside that, I got unusual period. I use xulane for about a year, this is the last week before I have period, but I my period came when I still using my third patch. I have had floaters in my eyes since the vaccine. I started to use refreshing eye drops on Saturday March 13. I am not sure if the acne cream got in my eye the night before the vaccine. it is called Retin A cream 0.025%. I have also been feeling very weak. I got a B12 injection on my butt for energy(Friday, march 12). My legs feel like they are in pain and the hurt when I walk. I also had a lot of pelvic pain after the vitamin injection. I drank ibuprofen March 14 at night. I woke up feeling very weak. Before going to bed on March 15 I drank Tylenol. I still feel pain in my legs today and now I have lower back pain.

For first shot of covid moderna vaccine- late period (my cycle is always very regular), fatigue, sore arm 2nd shot- period came early

I received my 1st dose of the vaccine on 3/19 which was also the same time I should have gotten my period. There is no possible chance that I am pregnant because I am not sexually active and have never been. I haven't taken any form of contraceptive for about 2 years, maybe longer. The only factor, other than the vaccine, that might cause a missed period could be stress. The date of my vaccine shot was around the end of the school term which is a higher stress time period, but not much more than normal and I experience that level of stress about every 9-11 weeks. None of which did I miss or have a delayed period. My 2nd dose is scheduled for 4/16/2021.

I had a miscarriage on 05-11-2021. At the time of my miscarriage I was 4 weeks pregnant. After my vaccine I was also sick for a week and a half, developed fatigued, chills, fever, headaches, left arm soreness, these symptoms lasted for nine days.

24yo female with anovulatory vaginal bleeding and cramping x5 days which presented within 24 hours of receiving her 2nd dose Moderna COVID-19 vaccination on 06/09/2021. Patient describes her symptoms as if she is having a normal menstrual cycle. This patient uses Nexplanon for contraception successfully without a menstrual cycle for the past 2 years. Denies other urinary or vaginal symptoms, or possibility that she may be pregnant. Although there is high suspicion that this is a COVID-19 vaccine side effect, I will evaluate for abnormal anovulatory uterine bleeding with labs and follow-up with ulatrasound if her symptoms do not resolve with time. 24yo female with left sided supraclavicular lymphadenopathy presenting within 24hrs of her 1st and 2nd dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Patient endorses waning symptoms after the first dose until she received the second dose at which point the lymph node came back. Physical exam remarkable for one 1x1cm left sided supraclavicular lymph node tender to palpation. Likely reactive lymphadenopathy. I will treat with watchful waiting given reactive lymphadenopathy to include supraclavicular lymphadenopathy is a known side effect of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, and that patient's young age and lack of risk factors. If persistent over several months I will re-evaluate the lymph node with imaging.

Patient received her 1st Moderna COVID vaccine on 6/17/2021. Upon returning home the patient noted a rash on her left upper arm where she had recieved her Moderna Covid vaccine, as well as on her chest and her right arm. The patient returned to clinic and was seen by provider, MD. He documented the following: She denies any itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing. only allergy she has had in the past is guaifenesin. The rash is petechial in scattered on both shoulders and chest. She denies taking any over-the-counter or prescription medications. She has not had any bleeding difficulties. Recommend observation of the rash. It may spread intake 3-4 weeks to completely resolve. See again in clinic if she has worsening rash or any bleeding issues occur. Later on the evening of 6/17/21 this patient reported the patechial rash had spread to her other arm and she felt a pressure in her nose. Our medical team strongly encouraged the patient to go to the Emergency Department for evaluation. Patient agreed. When our team follow up with her the AM of 6/18/21, the patient stated she chose not to go to the hospital. She stated she would go today, because she noticed excessive clotting with her menses. Again, our medical team strongly encouraged her to go to the ED. This is all the information we have up to this point.

Irregular period- no period on my birth control and after my 2nd dose, I am now experiencing a heavy flow period with cramps and fatigue.

Symptoms of PMS prior to irregular bleeding. Approximately a week after receiving 2nd dose, breast swelling and pain occurred, lasting three weeks. Bloating, gastrointestinal discomfort, and nausea occurred during this time. On June 4th, spotting began in the morning. Light to medium bleeding took place until the June 6th. On June 23rd, light bleeding has occurred, as well as breast tenderness.

A week after second shot i had a fever off and on , no appetite, also felt like I couldn?t breath at one point and started hyperventilating?about four days later I had brown spotting , then intense cramping PMS symptoms for 2 weeks straight , I was also 16 days late on my period. When receiving my period it was 7 days as it normally is and was fine after period ended I am now having chest pains on the left side .

I was pregnant at the time of my first and second dose of the vaccine. My estimated due date was February 15th 2022. A half hour after my second dose I had a little bit of spotting and moderate to severe cramping. This was dismissed as gas pains. Later that night I went to the bathroom to find a substantial amount of blood in my underwear at which point I called a nurse line and was directed to go to the ER. They gave an ultrasound and ran blood work. Miscarriage was strongly suspected but not totally confirmed. I was also running a low fever and experiencing severe chills, muscle and joint pain and a severe headache. I was sent home and told to follow up with my doctor for more blood work to confirm the miscarriage. I continued to get severe cramping, bleeding and loss of uterine tissue vaginally. On Monday I saw my doctor had blood work and confirmed the miscarriage. I am still bleeding today.

Menstrual spotting . I have the nexplanon implant and have not had a period in 4 years, and have heard of similar complaints from other providers who have received the vaccine. Mine started yesterday (1/15/2021) and the spotting continues to this moment.

Irregular menses/amenorrhea - Expected period was to begin on 01/25/2021 (after 1st vaccine dose). I never had any menstrual bleeding in the days to follow. My period has always been regular. Expected period was to begin on 02/22/2021 (after 2nd vaccine dose) and bleeding did not occur.

I experienced a missed miscarriage. I was pregnant during both doses of the vaccine (1st dose 1/15/21), but 2/12/21 (the day of the 2nd dose) was the day the gestational sac stopped growing. I was 8 weeks pregnant at this point. The ultrasound was on 2/17/21 and it was reported that I was supposed to be 8wk 6days, but gestational sac was only 8wk 1day. I was due on 9/23/21. My PCP encouraged me to get the vaccine, knowing that I was pregnant. So I did. Upon receiving my 2nd dose of the vaccine, I did not experience any symptoms and believe that my body was focused more on the vaccine than the development of the baby. Obviously I'm not positive that this was the cause, but I wanted to make it known, so I can hopefully prevent this from happening again, if the vaccine was indeed a contributor.

Late period. There are many women reporting late, missed, unusually heavy and light period. There needs to be studies done on vaccine and menstruation and VAERS should add unusual menstruation cycles on to monitor possible side effects.

Had a sore arm, low grade fever, chills and aches starting the nigh after receiving the vaccine that lasted about 24 hours. Menstrual Period came 2 weeks early 3 days after vaccine (this is extremely out of character for my body, and I was not stressed at the time of receiving the vaccine).

I got my period out of the blue the following morning. It was the worst period / PMS of my life. I was having full blown contractions, waves of pain and heat so much that I was throwing up. I also had diarrhea and very heavy bleeding. Once I was able to keep ibuprofen down I was absolutely fine and the symptoms dissipated. I got vaccinated on 3/11. About a week and a half ago from today's date (4/3/2021), I began experiencing spotting of blood. My period is at least 6 days late, and i am never late and have not been sexually active for years, and am not on any birth control. I?m mad that i?m hearing a lot of anecdotal evidence of side effects of the covid vaccine on menstrual cycles, but there is no clinical research into this or warnings about it

Although I would not characterize it as adverse, I wanted to report irregularities in my period since data about how the COVID-19 virus affects menstruation has been, in my understanding, especially desired. I had a period last 3 days with a day each of spotting before and after the main period. It was exceptionally light in blood volume for me, and I had a throbbing headache on April 5th.

Patient stated her period started at the same time (on the 18th), but it was heavier than normal after her first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. (She also reported feeling feverish around 2 p.m. on either Monday or Tuesday, but she didn't check to see if she had a fever, and it subsided 1/2 hr later.)

Severe menstrual cycle- debilitating pain, severe nausea, dizziness, lightheadedness, fatigue, trouble standing and walking. Little relief from OTC medications.

After receiving the vaccine, increased amounts of heart palpitations were experienced for at least 3 weeks before noticing a little respite in their frequency. Irregular periods and heavy menstruation have also been experienced. Period following vaccine was heavy and came at a much earlier date than usual for the cycle. The 2nd period after that one started at the end of April and is still going on (as of May 18th). I do not have any history of irregular periods or menorrhagia of this extent.

I have not gotten my period. It is 2 weeks late. I did confirm with my doctor that it is not pregnancy. My stress level is not high leaving the only other logical option being a vaccine reaction.

Had my first dose of Moderna on March 10th. My last period before the vaccine was February 25th. I did not have a period the entire month of March and did not get a period until April 25th. I am not on birth control and always have regular and on time periods. The vaccine caused me to have 1 missed period and 1 late period.

I've been suffering from vaginal bleeding for 3 months. It started 10 days after my first dose. After 2 months of bleeding, I have seen a primary physician and a gynecologist. I was told to take birth control, i took it for a month but the bleeding didn't stop. The bleeding would occasionally stop only if I take 3 birth control pills. On top of that, I would randomly get a excruciating sharp pain in the lower abdomen area.

I am having a second period in the course of 14 days. My first period came as scheduled on June 20th and lasted 6 days and today, 10 days after my period ended for the month, I am having another period.

My period would be a week long with two days of light spotting. Clotting through out the week. Heavy cramping.

After receiving the second dose, I experienced flu like symptoms (fever, aches, chills, weakness, and nausea). After both my first and second dose, I started my period on the same day that I received the vaccine. My period was on time but, different. The colour of blood seemed off, looked diluted in a way, and I had EXTREME cramping which is abnormal for me. At one point I felt as if I was having contractions. The extreme cramping occured the following day after receiving my vaccines. It has been 36 hours since my second dose and the symptoms are subsiding.
