injection site pain, tenderness, redness, swelling- hot to the touch. started within 3 hours. Applied ice. Headache- starting 4 hours after the vaccine. relief with tylenol but reappeared after 3-4 hours. muscle aches/fatigue- about 6 hours after the vaccine. night of the vaccine- muscle aches, fatigue, headache- took tylenol Wednesday-morning of day after vaccine- terrible headache, arm swelling redness and hot to touch, could not lift or touch arm. Extreme fatigue, could not keep my eyes open. Wednesday night-fever- started around 4pm tmax 101.0- fevers continued through the night with headache, chills and lower back pain. Extreme fatigue- went to bed around 8pm and woke up at 12pm thursday. Thursday morning- fatigue, increase in swelling and arm tenderness- injection site continued to be very hot to the touch and painful/red. Applied ice to site. Had a low grade fever 100.6 for a few hours. Tylenol taken ATC. Thursday night- no fever, headaches or fatigue but injection site cont'd to be red hot and swollen- cellutlits looking saw my PCP (wednesday prior to fever) who agreed it was a localized reaction with adverse events. Discussed with my physician at work on thursday night who stated it was a cellulitic localized reaction. fri morning- injection site improving- remains swollen, slightly itchy. less red and less warm to the touch. Beginning to form a bruise.

12/28/2020 around 5:30 PM she started getting itchy. Progressing as night went on. On 12/29/2020 around 5-6:00 AM you woke with hives, hoarse voice and eyes swollen. A little SOB with talking. Also had weakness and tingling. Tingling was "everywhere".. Went to ER. Treated in the ER and released. Also on this day she had additional reaction to prednisone and she found out she is allergic to this. On 12/31/2020 she had to return to ER. She was at work and not feeling the greatest. Feeling light headed on and off. Continued to work and while driving home felt confused and light headed and called co workers. Felt weak again.. Called co workers who work for ambulance service They came and checked her out and her B/P was high and having PVC's per the heart monitor Transported to ER per the ambulance. 1/1/2021 she is feeling better. Received fluids last night. ER felt it was due to receiving vaccine and then additional allergic reaction to prednisone.

Injection site pain began about 5 hours after getting vaccine and progressively worsened. Unable to lift arm above shoulder without significant pain at about 12 hours post injection. About 13-14 hours post vaccine, began having myalgias, chills. Took ibuprofen with some improvement of symptoms, but unable to sleep due to the combination of arm pain, chills and aches. Body aches and chills were gone by the morning but the arm pain lingered, less than the night before and improving each day, still there today, but much more tolerable.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Lots of pain and soreness in vaccination site. Low fever(99.9F), chills, body ache, joint paint started 01/02/2021 at 4:30pm Treatment: slept and took 2 Tylenol?s. Outcome: fever down to 99.2 an hour later, body still aching

I was given the shot around 1 pm and didn?t have any reaction throughout the day besides my arm becoming sore around the injection area. I later went to bed and woke up from my sleep at 12am, shaking uncontrollably (It?s like I had the chills but the shaking was much worse that I contemplated going to the emergency room ). I felt very cold, my heart was racing,& I couldn?t catch my breath. The shaking lasted for about two hours. I finally fell back asleep and woke up again at 1am and woke up sweating, my whole body was hot and fighting off one of the worse fevers I had. Another hour passed as I tried to fall asleep and not soon after I was awoken from my sleep. At 3 am I woke up very nausea and also had to use the restroom , it felt like everything wanted to come out both ways. During this time time on the toilet I felt exhausted, dizzy, & my whole body was just aching. 2 hours later I finally fell asleep. When I awoke in the morning I still felt nauseous, had horrible body aches, & had the chills. I genuinely hope this helps someone else who May experience the same symptoms!

Immediately after injection a nodule formed to side of injection site. Bump eventually subsided but area remained swollen and red to touch for 3 days. Now area is still red a week later and slightly itchy

Arm soreness at injection site, worse than a flu shot and starting an hour after the shot and lasting approx 2 days. Increased phelgm production for approx 24 hours following injection.

12/23/2020 I had diahrrea for two hours at 5pm, abnominal pain, I went to the ER and had a consult for the 24th and see if I could get my gallbladder out for previous problems, I had chest pain, they did emergency surgery that same day and they removed my gallbladder. I have a rash on my injection site, I think it's a christmas tree rash .

after injection on 12/23 had red, raised, warm area lasting 3 days. On friday 1/1/2021 noticed that area came back, warm , red, raised and tender to touch. This lasted until Sunday 1/3/2021. On monday 1/4/21 the is a small amount of redness.

When I received my vaccination some of the vaccine leaked upon the HCP removing the needle. I did not thinking anything of it and was reassured I had received the whole dose. One week after receiving vaccine my L arm noted to be very itchy. Upon looking at my arm I noticed a lemon sized red raised hive where I received the vaccine. My arm is still mildly sore and the hive has continued since noticing it. I had not noticed it previous to this.

Site pain and swelling for 6 days after vaccination. Day 7 post vaccination; redness, itching, edema at injection site, circular area, about 5 inches in diameter. Plus swollen, painful axillary lymph nodes bilaterally.

I woke up around 1:30 am on January 5th with a temperature of 99.9 degrees F. By 3:00 am, my temperature spiked to 100.5 degrees F. By 7 am, my temperature had returned to normal, around 98.6 degrees F and I have felt fine the rest of the day, besides some soreness at the injection site. I did not take any medications to help with the fever.

woke up in middle of the night (around 1 AM) due to intense pain in injection site. Took advil and went back to bed. Woke up in the morning with extreme headache and neck pain as well as pain in injection site. Took tylenol which did not help the pain or headache. Headache worsened until about noon, at which point I could not move due to neck/arm pain and headache. Symptoms dissipated quickly away pretty quickly around 1 PM

Pt. reported feeling itchy all over her body approximately 1 hour after receiving Moderna Vaccine. Pt. was given oral Loratadine and Benadryl 50mg at approximately 12:05 and found relief with medications but also reported a tingling sensation on both sides of cheeks that extended to her lips. At approximately 1:30 pt. reported feeling heart palpitations, Dr. ordered an EKG - results were nornal. An IV was started at this time and pt. received . IV Bolus of LR 1 L was administered. Pt. was evaluated by Dr. and discharged home at approximately 4pm that same day. Pt. symptoms did not worsen

received vaccine at 1635; 1648 rash noted on neck, right chest. Benadryl 50 mg IVP given 1652 c/o lightheadedness and palpitations Initial bp was 123/87-105 pulse and 20 respirations. At 1652 bp 151/79-128-20; 1720 nausea palpitations intermittently. 1725 134/72-104-20 and feeling fine.

12/31/20: Sore/Tender at site with some redness 1/3/2021: Redness at site with some itchiness 1/5/2021: Redness, swelling, warm to touch, and very itchy at site

Red, tender bump at injection site started approx one week after vaccination. Circular, measures 4cmx4.5cm.

Injection site became itchy, and then around the entire area, shoulder area, down arm. Would lessen, then become worse again, Injection site ice packed, hydrocortisone cream applied to area at 5:45pm and 6:10pm with some relief. Small welts noted at times, but decreased with treatments. Benadryl 25mg PO at 5:15pm, Benadryl 12.5mg PO Chewable at 5:45pm and Benadryl 25mg PO at 6:10pm, all on 1/5 Repeated 25 mg PO at 8:30 on 1/6 for slight itchy HR regular, no swelling in face or tongue, no shortness of breath, no headache or visual disturbances. No nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea. Drove to home, took bath and slept well that night. Still reports general itchiness throughout body on 01/06 with some relief from benadryl.

I had vomitting and that was moderate. The following day I was nauseous. My arm was pretty swollen and pain in the arm for two day. I had a headache that was pretty severe for two days. The third day I felt a little bit of arm soreness but I could use my arm a little better. I started having a little bit of a rash at the point of where I received the vaccine.

It was noted during injection a tremendous amount of pain/stinging/burning that lasted a few minutes. About 20 minutes post injection, numbness/tingling noted in pinky/5th finger radiating down palm to wrist on same arm as injection as well as dizziness. Notified observation RNs and moved to a separate room. Mildly elevated BP but normal HR noted. No rash/hives/difficulty breathing. Numbness and tingling would migrate - most often to thumb but sometimes up entire arm. Released 1 hour after injection after no life threatening signs noted. Visited PCP the next day (1/6) at 10:15. Professional opinion that it is due to swelling from injection - now noticeable area of swelling around injection site. Recommended ice and NSAIDs.

Abdominal rash beginning approximately 2 hours after vaccine administration. Severe sharp right shoulder pain beginning approximately 2 hours after injection, lasting 3 days, resulting in inability to move arm away from rib cage. Excessive fatigue despite rest that has continued into Day 6, and has not recovered from this at the time of this report. Patient has been unable to participate in daily life or attend work shifts.

Pain in arm and at injection site - red spot slightly larger than a quarter - tender to touch and warm

Redness, swelling, hives at injection site. Hives spread down arm and to neck, patient began trembling. Benadryl given patient sent to emergency department. Checked out in ED, HR 110 & reports nausea and headache. Nothing else abnormal. Patient observed and hives seemed to resolve.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Rash at injection site on the morning of Day 6, no pain or itching, and rash went away by 7pm that night. Rash returned at injection site with itching on day 8 (today). The itching is intermittent so far today.

The injection site is bright red, swollen, hot to the touch, itchy, and feels hard. There is some pain in the area and it hurts to lift my arm, and underneath in the armpit region. This is the first day this has happened since getting the injection.

left arm soreness - pain radiating down arm to thumb & pain with movement (immediately after vaccination) unable to lift arm above chest height (4 hours after vaccination) mild burning sensation in upper left arm (4 hours after vaccination)

Day 1: Itching began about 30-40 minutes after injection. Welts began appearing 2 hours later on arms, legs, and back. Took Benadryl 36.5 mg every 4 hours. Day 2: Woke up with hives all over body, including face , started Prednisone 10 mg x3 tablets and continued benadryl 25mg every 3-4 hours.

Fast forward to 1-6-2021 I have had a headache ever since and started getting a reaction at the injection site which consist of being swollen, red, a large knot under the red area, the area is really warm and sensitive to touch. I also have pain going up the left side of my neck and down my armpit/lymphatic system.

DPH (after the Lot number); I started with a very severe pounding tension headache - 6:00 am; very severe fatigue; very severe arm pain at injection site. And then unable to complete daily functions: do to headache; suffered from headache - took one gram tylenol to address a low grade fever that day and the headache, too. fever subsided with tylenol. Headache was relentless; I tried 600 mg of ibuprofen as well to treat headache with no success; Started to suffer severe pain; couldn't open eyes from pressure of headache. Went to ER due to never having such a severe headache before. Tests did not show pathology that would cause headache. Was given one liter of IV fluids. Was given 25 mg of benydryl ; 10 mg of compazine. Along with toradol. And 20 meq of potassium. Discharged home with two prescription migraine medications. Resolution of symptoms by 27th. COVID Test was negative result.

Employee here with COVID vaccine reaction was given the vaccine on 12/30/20 in left upper arm, noticed the area was red on 01/07/21. The area is red, swollen, warm to the touch, itching. The area measures 6 X 4.5cm borders not clearly defined. Explained conservative measures including cool compresses, if approved by PCP taking OTC IBU and antihistamines and hydrocortisone cream. Explained signs of cellulitis including skin tightness and red streaking, informed if the area worsens after trying conservative measure to go for further care with either PCP or walk in clinic. Employee verbalized understanding and agrees with plan.

The night of the shot I got a headache, was throwing up, running a temp, chills, fever, felt dizzy and my arm was really swollen, red and hurt. Fast forward to 1-6-2021 I started getting a reaction at injection site which consisted of being swollen, red, a hard knot under the red area, really warm and sensitive to touch. I also have pain going up the left side of my neck and down my armpits/lymph nodes.

Onset of symptoms was day +7. Symptoms include: red rash just below injection site. Site is warm, red, and tender. About the size of a tennis ball.

Approached by vaccination staff reporting that a patient who had just received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccination was not feeling well at approximately 1:45 pm. Upon assessment, patient complained of itching all over her body, chest/throat tightness and difficulty swallowing. Called nurse to the scene to assess vital signs and patient continued to complain of above symptoms. Administered (1) epinephrine pen (0.3 mg) to patient's right thigh at 1:50 pm as 9-1-1 was called per protocol. EMS arrived and provided emergency care. Patient was transported to local ER at 2:00 pm.

The evening of 1/7/21 she developed a temp of 100.3 with body aches, and rash on bilateral arms/ chest. Took Motrin at night and had mild temp on 1/8 of 99. and 99.2

Swelling, pain, hot to the touch, tenderness around vaccine site. Hives spreading all over body and face.

On Friday, January 8th, I started to feel pain/tenderness in my left armpit. It also felt firmer than my right armpit. I still feel pain/tenderness today, Saturday, January 9th. The pain is mild/moderate. I am still able to do my day-to-day activities. (I did not think it was vaccine related, so I did not make note of this during my v-safe daily check in.)

1/9/2021 experienced significant pain at injection site, by 1/10/2021 AM pain had mostly subsided to a level normally associated with vaccines. 1/10/2021 in the morning began experiencing mild intermittent numbness in left hand. 1/10/2021 afternoon began experiencing extreme low back pain when standing and walking. Cannot tie any of these symptoms to other causes. Back pain and hand numbness still present at 5 PM 1/10/2021.

26-year-old lady came in after she noticed she had bruises on her left hand after a CPR procedure at hospital. Patient was apparently in well health, she had received COVID-19 mRNA vaccine on January 7 at 3 PM, she has taken 2 pills with ibuprofen and tylenol for pain in right deltoid following vaccination. She was doing the CPR at 1:00 this afternoon, and she noticed that her left dorsum had some bruises. She took day off and went home and noticed that she also had bruises in both medial thighs, above the knee and some bruises in scalp. Patient presented to the Emergency Room 1/9/2021 ~6PM and platelet count was found to be 2x10^3/uL. Patient required transfusion of 7 units of platelets, steroids, and IVIG.

Redness, streaking and swelling of left arm. Diagnosed with cellulitis but not improving with Keflex. Prescribed prednisone, Benadryl and Pepcid with little improvement and seeing dermatologist today for further investigation.

At the time of vaccination, a burning sensation was felt immediately upon injection. The person who injected the vaccine proceeded to flick the plastic tubing of the syringe while it was still in my arm, escalating the burning sensation. I let the tech know about the burning and he claimed it could be a side effect of the medication and that I would be fine. I did not suffer any medication related side effects. Left arm stiffness began about two hours after vaccination and after nearly 3 hours, I was completely unable to move my arm. Loss of shoulder posture, complete arm/hand weakness and extreme arm soreness were reported for nearly 5 days. Numbness from the injection site down to the elbow is intermittent currently. Tingling down from the shoulder joint to the fingers is constant when arm is laterally raised or when overused. The left arm is still having trouble externally/internally rotating/raising above my head, and while lifting heavy objects. I'm in the process of starting physical therapy/occupational therapy to regain normal strength and functioning without the tingling or pain. An audible clicking noise is noted that was not there previously to the injection. I am unable to exercise normally and have been functioning at a decreased work and paperwork pace at my job as a nuclear stress technician. I have also been losing days of time at work due to various doctor's appointments and diagnostic tests needed to identify the problem.

Where I got the shot is still red and itchy. This has been there since I received the injection. I am unsure if it?s from the vaccine or a reaction to the band aid.

About 9 days (Friday 1/8) post vaccine I developed an area of redness around the injection site. It started off the size of a nickel, was slight swollen, warm, and tender to the touch. The next day (Saturday) the reddened area grew to be the size of a half dollar coin. Still warm and tender to the touch. The size was never itchy. I did not treat it with anything. The next day (Sunday) the redness was much less, the site not as warm and not tender. This is how the site remains now.

Swollen deltoid and muscle soreness for 3 days following injection. Heavy fatigue on day 3. 6-7 days later, very noticeable swollen lymph nodes in left arm pit only. Tender to the touch and when adducting the arm.

generalized itchiness; woke up with headache; feeling fatigued; anaphylactic reaction; right arm started going numb; right arm was tingling; A spontaneous report was received from a 26-year-old, female consumer who received Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine and experienced anaphylactic reaction, right arm numbness and tingling, headache, fatigue, and generalized itchiness. The patient's medical history was not provided. No relevant concomitant medications were reported. On 23 Dec 2020 prior to the onset of the events, the patient received their first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (Lot number: OU520A/011520A) intramuscularly in the left arm for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. On 23 Dec 2020, within minutes of receiving the vaccine, the patient experienced an anaphylactic reaction and was rushed to the emergency room (ER). When transported to the ER she began to experience throat swelling, redness of arms and chest, trouble breathing with lower chest pain shooting into lungs, and numbness with tingling in her right arm. Treatment for the event included epinephrine, steroids, and diphenhydramine. She was released from the ER on 23 Dec 2020. On 24 Dec 2020 patient awoke with a headache, fatigue, and generalized itchiness. Treatment for the event included ibuprofen and diphenhydramine. Action taken with the second dose of mRNA-1273 in response to the event was not reported. The outcome for the events, anaphylactic reaction, right arm numbness and tingling, were reported as resolved on 23 December 2020. The events of headache, fatigue, and generalized itchiness were considered resolving.; Reporter's Comments: This case concerns a 26-year-old female patient who received their first of two planned doses of mRNA-1273 (Lot OU520A/011520A), and who experienced the unlisted events of anaphylactic reaction, right arm numbness and tingling, and generalized itchiness, and the listed events of headache and fatigue. The events were considered to be possibly related to the vaccine due to the temporal relationship with onset on the day of vaccination.

slight headache about 30 minutes after vaccines was administered ,rash on right thigh, on Saturday Jan. 9th around 9:30PM. Rash and itchiness went away that night.

Tiny pinpoint pimple looking raised bumps above elbows, shoulder, chest, and back of neck. Once discovered Benadryl 25mg was taken at 8:30 PM, and then a 2nd dose taken at 10:30 pm. Client then went to bed and did not wake up with bumps. Woke up feeling flu like symptoms Friday morning, nausea, muscle aches, headache, increased heart rate. Client does have history of migraines and anxiety which cause her heart to race. Sunday morning started with fever, cough, diarrhea, and runny nose.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Hot red firm to touch welt developedat injection site6 days after vaccination. Peaked in size 24 hours after onset at approximately 3 inches across. Persisted at peak size for an additional 24 hours and then began to shrink and return to Normal color and temperature. Discoloration and temperature and firmness gone after approximately 52 hours

Noticed hives shortly after 1 woke up on 1/9/21. ~10am. Hives were white and all over legs and on back of my arms. Also had temp of 99.3..could be due to hives. Took benedryl and symptoms subsided 1/9/21 in the evening.

Initially had typical injection site soreness, fatigue and nausea. Patient reports 2 day later began developing, nasal congestion, periorbital edema and urticaria like skin eruption on bilateral UE, trunk and LE's. Evaluated in clinic 6 days later still having similar symptoms with no worsening or improvement despite OTC benadryl. No respiratory distress, fevers, or abnormal blood pressure.

Patient experienced pain radiating from injection site up to neck, neck stiffness and SOA. Patient was evaluated in ED and toradol and benadryl were administered. Patient's neck pain and SOA have resolved but neck stiffness persists.

Sore arm at injection site-starting in afternoon after injection, day after injection Flu-like symptoms including muscle aches and chills - starting 8pm-12am day of injection

My armpit lymph nodes are swollen and very tender on the same arm that my shot was given. my symptoms are not reproducible other than to palpation. There is also visible swelling. no rash or redness in the area.

Initially had typical injection site soreness, fatigue and nausea. Patient reports 2 day later began developing, nasal congestion, bilateral periorbital edema and a cholinergic urticaria-like skin eruption on bilateral UE, trunk and LE's.

Within 1 hour of receiving the vaccine the patient developed asthma symptoms,dizziness, tingling in mouth and swollen tongue. She presented at a walk-in clinic and received Epi-Pen 0.3mg, Solu-Medrol and Benadryl, while there she received 2 additional doses and was transferred to the nearest ED by ambulance. At the ED she received a 4th dose of Epi-Pen 0.3mg and albuterol and DuoNeb treatments. She was admitted for observation. She went home and needed to return within 24 hours to the ED because her lips and tongue started to swell and she turned blue. She subsequently needed 3 additional doses of Epi-Pen over the next 24-48 hours. She has been on Benadryl 50mg every 6 hours and Famodine 20mg until present.

-0 to 1 day after vaccine: moderate left deltoid soreness, resolved completely -3 days after vaccine: new left axillary soreness and mild axillary lymphadenopathy -7 days after vaccine: worsening left axillary pain and lymphadenopathy with several axillary lymph nodes 1 cm in diameter. Lymphadenopathy now extending to left supraclavicular nodes and left anterior cervical chains. No other lymphadenopathy noted (I.e not bilateral). Erythema and new soreness appears over left deltoid in a 4cm patch. Seen by urgent care. Advised to report symptoms to CDC via V-safe app

1 week after administration the injection site became red and swollen and itchy. Since then I have developed hives surrounding the area on my upper arm

Shortly after receiving the vaccine on 1/5/20 (within several hours) the administration site was swollen, red, and warm to the touch. The swollen area was approximately the size of a silver dollar. There was also soreness around the injection site. Swelling continued through roughly 1/9/20. There was still slight redness/discoloration to the area. Soreness had subsided by 1/7/20. On the evening of 1/11/20 the area began itching. On 1/12/20 I woke up and the area was swollen again, this time worse than before, and was also slightly expanded, approximately 3.5" in diameter. It was also red and warm to the touch and was still itching. This has continued through current time.

Beginning 1/11/2020, I began experiencing an uncomfortable sensitivity in my left axilla. I have a history of inflamed lymph nodes that occurs 1-2 times a year under the arm and in the groin, and this felt similar to those episodes. The lymph node is hard to touch and the sensitivity continues today. Today (1/13/2020), I noticed an inflamed, red patch of skin that is hot to touch over the region where the injection occurred. Additionally, I have experienced diarrhea 1-2x/day for the past two days.

Two days following administration of vaccine, there was a small, oval shaped redness at injection site about the size of index finger. However, the following day that redness resolved/barely noticeable. Yesterday (1/13/21), I noticed while showering in the morning a huge hard lump on my upper Left arm with circular redness the a little smaller than palm of my hands. The red area grew hotter throughout the day and started to swell. I applied Benadryl gel and took 2 Benadryl 25 mg each in the evening. I tried icing the area as a well. This morning, the hardness and redness are both there. No improvement but it has not worsened either. I tried going to UrgentCare to have it checked out, but was turned away because they didn?t want to be responsible for treating this. I contacted my hospital that gave me this vaccine and they directed me to another clinic, which I may or may not be able to go to because it is a little far from my location. I will continue icing, applying the gel cream, and take a Benadryl Of note, I had no prior COVID exposure. Following any vaccine, I usually get minor fever/chill (like with Flu shot) which happened with Moderna vaccine as well. But that subsided by the next evening. No fever/chills since then. I also had the commonly reported arm soreness for few days. I have pictures of how the swelling and redness looked like throughout all this as well.

PATIENT NOTICED REDNESS AND A LUMP OVER THE INJECTION SITE, EXPERIENCED SOME PAIN IN UPPER ARM THAT IS IMPROVING, MAIN COMPLAINT IS ITCHINESS. USED NSAID, COLD COMPRESS AND BENDADRYL WITH EFFECTIVENESS IN DECREASING SYMTPOMS. REDNESS BORDERS MARKED ON 1/13/2021, TODAY REDNESS IS SIGNIFICANTLY DECREASED AND PT REPORTS A DECREASE IN ITCHING AND PAIN. PATIENT WAS ADVISED TO CALL HER PHYSICIAN FOR ANY FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS TO WHICH SHE DID, AT THIS TIME WILL CONTINUE TO MONITOR AND WILL CALL PHYSICIAN BACK IF SYMPTOMS GET WORSE.

Arm soreness starting approximately 4 hours after injection until approximately 72 hours after injection. Mild injection site itching for the same period of time.

Soreness of injection site about 10 hours after injection time lasting about 2 days. 5 days after, severe pain in the underarm area 6 days after, severe pain in the underarm area in addition to pins and needles running from armpit to finger tips, sore neck and a runny nose began.

7 days post injection patient developed redness/hives at injection site with some itching and pain as well as warmth to the touch. Lasted for 2 days, has since resolved. Scheduled for dose #2 01/28/2021.

Swelling and itchiness appeared after 6 days of injection with size about 5cm diameter, now it has been two days since the reaction and the size almost doubled with heat.

I had my vaccine on 1/5/2021 and the 2 days after I had a lot of pain in my arm and fatigue which are all things I expected and they were over by Saturday 1/9. Now starting today 1/14 the area is red again and is very itchy

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA. I have a growing red spot on my arm that itches. It is developing a red ring around it. It is itchy, but doesn't hurt. It only gets swollen if I itch it and it also gets hot when I itch it. I went and saw my doctor and she prescribed me a topical steroid cream. I have been feeling lightheaded, fatigued and dizzy. That started Thursday January 7.

numbness and itching of L cheek (face) w/in 15 min of vaccination, numbness resolved within 15 additional minutes and itching decreased, but persisted into next day at low level. No rash was involved, just a little redness from scratching.

At approximately 17:15, time of discharge ,(15 minutes after vaccination) client stated that her left arm was itchy as well as both hands. Injection site area with pink hue but no hives. She also stated she felt a little something in her throat. Vital signs at this time were 143/85 BP, Heart rate 100 and O2 sat 96%. No sob. 17:19 she complained of a sensation of tongue swelling. VS 138/82, HR 90, O2 sat 96% and no SOB. Continued to monitor VS every 3 minutes. Pt offered IM Benadryl but refused. 17:22 132/87, HR 99, O2 sat 95%, 17:25 133/85 HR 90 O2 95% 17:29 132/82 HR 93, O2 sat 96%, denies any new symptoms at this time. 17:34 128/89 HR 88, O2 sat 96%, 17:38 134/85 HR 93 O2 sat 95%. States symptoms improving. 17:41 129/84 HR 93 and O2 sat95%, 17:73 133/83 HR 86 , O2 sat 96%. Pt. symptoms cont. to improve. 17:55 131/83 HR 86 O2 sat 95%. Pt states she feel better. Planes to take oral Benadryl as soon as she gets home. She was advised to consult with primary physician regarding this event and will follow up with physician if she chooses to receive a second dose of Moderna COVID 19 vaccine at her doctors office. She left at 17:56.

About 24 hours following the Moderna vaccination I developed a red round, slightly raised, swollen, and tender spot approximately the size of a silver dollar 3 inches below the injection site. The spot resolved within 72 hours. I did not seek medical attention.

Per patient starting just over 24 hours ago patient developed redness, warmth, itching, and welt (now size of golf ball) around the injection site. Reaction just started about 1 week after dose administration and no reported reaction prior. has taken a couple doses of benadryl which patient stated helped reduce symptoms

Pt developed itching, mild rash around injection site several minutes after injection. She also reported some itching to face bilaterally. No evidence of anaphylaxis. Symptoms improved after 1/2 hour. She refused EMS services. Band-Aid was removed and new band aid was placed on other arm where the pt then developed mild rash there as well. Suspect new allergy to bandaid adhesive. Doubt this was a reaction to the vaccine. Pt was counseled to follow up with PCP for further guidance regarding 2nd dose.

Patient called to report a rash on her hands, arms, and chest that is red and stings. Patient noticed the rash approximately 90 minutes after receiving her vaccination. Denies any shortness of breath or swelling in the face or neck. Writer instructed patient to take Benadryl after verifying no known drug allergies and to call a health care provider, especially if rash does not improve. Spoke to patient 1/15 AM, and she states that the rash is improving but still there after taking Benadryl.

Increased heart rate, tingling in head & arms, lightheaded, slight rash on upper torso, swollen lymph node.

A week and one day after I receieved the first COVID-19 vaccination, I noticed around the injection site that my arm was warm at the site, sore and swollen and had a small rash/irritaiton. Over the weekend, I took benadryl and iced my arm. The tough welt went down, but that was it. I could still feel the warmth and soreness and it was red/irritated still. I spoke with one of the nurses at my workplace and they thought it was strange that I had a reaction so late and it looked like it could be cellulitis. I have never had a reaction after a vaccination before, nor cellulitis, so I had a virtual doctors visit that following Tuesday.

Erythema, induration, itching and tenderness at the injection site 7 days after receiving injection.

Had a mild headache at time of vaccine, unknowingly had a mild fever at the time, so did not take temperature. Went home to take a nap. Woke up two hours later with fever, stronger headache, chills, and muscle ache. Four hours later, the chills decreased, but the headache, fever, and muscle ache still persisted. 14 hours later (the next day), no chills, no headache, face still feels warm, but no fever. Muscle ache only in the location of the injection site.

Severe nausea with no vomiting occurring 12 hours later, also accompanied by injection site soreness.

Received first injection 1 weeks ago. The first few days I experienced normal symptoms such as pain and redness. Following that I had no symptoms. On Friday, (1/15) I noticed that the left-side lymph node in neck/collar bone area was swollen. The area felt similarly to that of a cyst. Starting Friday night, I began taking amoxicillin to prevent a bacterial infection. The swelling/cyst like bump on my neck/collarbone has decreased in size, but the vaccination sight has become very red, swollen, and itchy at times.

I experienced soreness at the injection site during the first 2 days following my vaccine. The soreness went away after about 2 days. Then, on the night of January 13th, I noticed a red splotch on my skin at the injection site (8 days after injection). It was about 3 inches tall and 2 inches wide. It was not itchy or sore. I did not notice any swelling of lymph nodes in my arms/armpits. The splotch was not noticeably warmer than other spots on my arm. The redness remained through the following day, January 14th, but the redness reduced slowly throughout the day. It did not appear to spread in area. By Friday, January 15th, the redness had faded. I made an appointment at my primary care doctor's office, and they recommended I report this symptom to VAERS.

One week after injection, site had healed well. All of a sudden, the injection site became warm to the touch, swollen, itchy, painful, and hard again. This reaction was worse than the original reaction after injection.

Urticaria, erythema, warmth, Itching in left arm seven days following vaccine. Rash seems to be worsening and spreading. No Initial reaction at vaccine site of Past medical history or allergic reactions.

The next day after injection hives appeared. They last between 5-30 minutes. When they start to break they are in red itchy like the ones I get when I in-jest chocolate which I?m allergic too. They appear sporadically first on the left arm where I received the vaccine and my stomach. Today 01/16/2021 they appeared on my face, Upper back, chest and legs.

Injection site on right arm has been tender and sore since injection. Noticeable itchiness at injection site started 1/15. Redness and swollen bump started on 1/17. As of 1/18, the bump is hard, hot to the touch, has grown, and is extremely itchy.

10:30 pm: fatigue and chills 12:00am (1/15/21):100.5 degree fever, headache, neck pain on both sides, pain in joints of hands, neck, knees, ankles and pelvis, ear ache on the right side, skin hypersensitivity 1:00am (1/15/21): 100.9 degree fever, pain in wrists and hands with inability to grip pencil, burning pain in abdomen at skin crease, burning pain in left armpit, pain in joints of hand, wrists, elbow, pelvis, hips, throughout left deltoid near injection site, 2:00am (1/15/21): 99.3 degree fever, profusely sweating, chills

A 26-year-old female presents for evaluation treatment of a rash around vaccine site on her left upper arm. Received the 1st dose of her covid-19 vaccine on 1/9. Initially with some soreness and aching. That resolved and 2 days ago developed an erythematous, mildly pruritic rash around the injection site. She denies any nausea/vomiting, anxiety, globus sensation or respiratory symptoms. Nothing to suggest anaphylaxis. Recommend cetirizine or loratadine 10 mg twice daily. May also treat with hydrocortisone 3 times daily

Within 24 hours: fever of 101.2 that lasted around 24 hours, visible bruising and red patch at injection site that lasted one week. One week after injection: Red, bumpy rash spreading from injection site down left arm that lasted around 24 hours.

I received the vaccine on 1/11. Today, 1/18 I have a rash of sorts at the injection site. Several red 'bumps'. It does not itch or bother me, and I will monitor it and seek treatment should it not go away or get worse.

I felt fine after the vaccination until around 3 pm when I presented with extreme fatigue. Around 6 pm, I developed a large, red bump at the injection site that was warm to the touch. The bump has reduced in size but has not gone away yet. The fatigue is better but still exists.

On Dec 28 - three hours after vaccine - started getting pain near injection site. It ached. 8:30PM that night I started getting itching from the midback to top of head on left side. Not left arm just the back, neck and face of left side. No rashes but a little red because I scratched. Then I noticed some bumps on my left side of my face and one hive on each knee and one hive on left shoulder. Telemed visit with dr. - took Benadryl - 25 mg. - within one hour of symptoms - at 9:00 pm per dr. Woke up next morning and had intense fatigue; muscles and back were really achy. Couldn't move my muscles very well. Felt like the wind had been knocked out of me. Bouts of itchiness. Slept throughout the day. That helped. But then had headache start - felt like a circle where my temples are to the back of my head and that is where is stayed. Next day - no fever and but my symptoms improved except still had the symptoms but they had improved. Went to work on Wednesday because it started to go away - on and off headache - felt foggy. Bouts of itchiness and felt physically weak because my muscles had gotten so so tight. Felt a physical weakness for five more days. Headache went away by Wednesday night (Dec 30th). Itchiness went away. Three days symptoms went away although the physical weakness lingered until 5th day. Used a heating pad for my muscles to help relax them.

Development of cellulitis at the site of injection roughly 8 days following injection (no symptoms prior). Started as a small raised rash over the injection site, and spread to about a 6 inch radius, raised, red, hot to touch rash. Benadryl and cortisone cream did not work. Urgent care PA prescribed cephalexin 500 mg 4x/day for 1 week 2 days later. Seeing improvements (duller red color, not as raised, diameter remains same so far).

Noticed on 1/15 that there is still a silver dollar sized swollen lump that's hot and reddened at the injection site. I wouldn't be too concerned about such side effects except it is extremely itchy. To this day it is still reddened, swollen, warm and very itchy. In the beginning there was pain, which I took Tylenol for, but it is no longer painful. As stated before, the itching is what concerns me and how inflamed the site gets if I itch it.

Red patch appeared on right arm directly over the injection site 10 days post-dose. No other systemic symptoms, no arm pain, no swelling.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA. One week post injection, site of injection has swelled, become warm, and developed pruritus. Attempted to use OTC topical steroid and ibuprofen with little effect.

Onset of S/S was approximately 1200 1/14/2021. Skin reaction with urticaria reaction at injection site. She became worse within that hour with severe abdominal pain and reported to the ED for care. Rapid COVID test NEG. She is feeling better today 2 days later. Since this reaction is > 48 hours I have asked her to contact the call center and recommended a PCR COVID 19 test

Burning/tingling pain on eyebrow, over the course of three weeks burning stinging sensation moved to cover left side of face, left eyeball, and arm. Painful. No visible rash.

Injection sight had remained tender and warm since vaccination on 12-31. After scratching lightly on 1-9 noticed significant increase in heat, redness, itching and swelling. By 1-11 had formed a firm lump slightly larger than a tennis ball - approximately 4 inches in diameter that was hot to the touch, tender and angry red with a purple center. On Tues 1-12 I contacted the local health dept who advised cold compresses and benadryl and if it did not started to shrink to see my pcp. On Wednesday 1 -13 2 more significant misshapen lumps had formed, 1 towards the inside of my arm and another towards the other. The irritation, swelling and redness had also spread while the color was no longer so angry. Due to that on Thursday 1-14 I saw my PCP who diagnosed cellulitis. I was prescribed 2000mg of amoxicillin a day for 7 days and a 5 day course of prednisone 20mg.

A week after the shot I have a rash below my injection site. It is blotchy and about an inch long and an inch wide. It is a bit itchy

Two locations of bruising without any known cause. Bruising on left forearm, circumference of approx. 2 inches. Bruising on left ankle and on top of left foot with no known cause. Forearm bruise noticed on day after vaccine, Foot bruising noticed on Monday , 3 days after vaccine. No known causes for either of these, pain associated with forearm site. Also the night of injection chills and severe left arm pain was experienced.

The day after vaccination, redness, swelling and pain onset for 4 days. By the 5th day it had subsided and my arm looked completely normal. On the 6th day I developed a patchy redness at the injection site. (today is the 6th day)

Injection Muscle Site Reaction: Swollen hard induration/lump, Redness and Itching still a week later.

Had chest tightness for 2 days after the vaccine, which went away on day 3. Then on day 4 a dull chest discomfort started again which I have had every since (now on day 8 post vaccine). When i woke up on day 8 post vaccine I noticed left deltoid swelling and tenderness in the arm that I received the vaccine a week ago. I only had arm swelling for 1-2 days post vaccine and then another onset on day 8 (1/20/21). Also have some left armpit tenderness 3 days ago.

01/19/2021 case presents with injection site pain one week after injection, with a low-grade fever of 100.3. Case has no prior reactions to other immunizations. Case is not pregnant, nor possessing any prior comorbities. Patient will be following with her GP at 2 for further evaluation.

1/19 4:30 PM- extreme body soreness (especially injection site/left arm), headache, chills, and felt like I had a fever (with no fever). 1/19 8:00 PM- Hallucinations began (with eyes closed and open) - started seeing unfamiliar people (faces and outlines), black and white strobing along with seeing pure red light at certain points, I could not control the hallucinations, extreme paranoia (like I was being controlled and watched), physical symptoms magically went away; however, I had pressure in my head that did not hurt like a headache. I was talking to people that were not there. I felt completely out of control. The only thing that helped was forcing myself to focus on the TV, which was extremely difficult. Symptoms started to die down around 3 AM, but did not go away. I slept for 4 hours. 1/20 8 AM- felt like and still feel like I am not in reality, I feel disassociated with my body (like its not mine), slightly out of control of my thoughts, I see subtle black and white flashing like last night but not as intense, paranoia like last night/not as intense, cant concentrate.

I had slight dizziness for 20 minutes a half hour after the injection. But that's not the issue. When the lady gave me the injection, it felt like she wiggled it around in my arm. The injection itself was surprisingly painful. My arm hurt at first like I was punched in the arm on the first day (much like a flu vaccine). But then it got SIGNIFICANTLY worse the next day. I was in excruciating pain in my left upper arm where I received the vaccine. I had limited arm mobility and any movement caused agony. I couldn't sleep from the pain. I wasn't able to do my normal activities. The pain started to subside after 4 days, but had since started to get worse again. I'm in a constant state of pain. It's now impacting my mental health. I can move my arm, but not without a lot of pain.

Had minor side effects the night of getting the injection (i.e. sore arm, headache) But on the morning of 1/19, a full week later, when waking up and rolling onto that arm, the injection site felt bruised suddenly. (Didn't have any arm soreness after day 2). It was a small solid bump that was slightly swollen, red, and occasionally itchy

8 days after vaccine I noticed a round hive rash about 1 inch away from the injection site. The next day the hive rash was much larger. Rash completely went away after about 4 days.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA I received my first dose of the vaccine on Friday, January 15th. My arm was a little sore that day and the next, but it really wasn't that bad. Late on Saturday, January 16th I noticed a rash around my neckline/collar bone area that was on both sides, but more prominent on the right. The rash was red with many bumps that were not raised and were not fluid filled or blistering. The next day, Sunday (17th) the rash seemed to worsen but stay localized to that area. Monday morning (18th) I woke up with a tender right armpit indicating to me that I have a swollen lymph node. I noticed later that morning that the rash had spread bilaterally to my biceps and chest. Today is Wednesday the 20th, and while the rash looks slightly better around my neckline, the rash has now spread all over my breasts, abdomen, and a little bit to my hips. The right arm pit continues to be tender today. I took Benadryl (25 mg) Sunday night (17th) and applied hydrocortisone cream to the rash when it was just along my neckline.

within 24 hours the injection site became red, painful and swollen. I ran a fever and had body aches. Then I broke out in hives and had tightness in my chest. I then took 50mg of benadryl and it helped with the hives.

Within 24 hours of me second Modena shot I started having massive headache. pain at injection start 1 hour after injection. At 24 hours I became to have aches and going between chills and sweat w/ low grade fever. It is now three say out and no adverse results present except are at injection site has started to increase in redness and itching.

Very hot to touch injection site exactly one month after injection. Caused me to leave work due to hot flashes, chills, dry sweats, tenderness, major swelling and very red and swollen arm.

Had typical side effects (malaise, injection site tenderness) for 1-3 after injection on January 5, 2021 Ten days following the injection - January 15 - she developed a red, warm, nonpruritic, nontender, non-raised rash around the injection site approximately 4 inches diameter, along with bilateral axillary lymph node tenderness L>R. She felt well otherwise. Rash resolved on January 19. Lymph node tenderness also receding on January 19.

January 14, 2021: Rash to R brachial/arm area. Last about 12 hours. did not itch. Excessive Fatigue January 15, 2021: Hives to L abdominal/flank that was itchy, lasted about 1 day January 18, 2021: Cluster of hives to L flank/back that was severely itchy, red, and swollen. ALSO hives to neck, tender, but did not itch. January 21, 2021: Swollen L deltoid, tender to touch, difficulty raising arm. no redness and headache no new hygiene products, laundry detergent, lotions were used.

Redness, swelling, warm to touch, itching x2 days. Worse on second day with increased redness to area.

A welt-like red area that is hot in temperature. The red area is golf ball sized. The welt went away after 2 days but as of the morning of 1/21/21, the welt is back and is extremely itchy this time.

Pt presented to COVID vaccine clinic today and developed a reaction after receiving the vaccination. Denies hx of anaphylaxis. Pt has allergy to Cefzil (rash). Pt reported immediate flushing sensation after receiving vaccination. Pt also reported slight tightness of her throat and a sensation of a scratchy throat 15 minutes after administration. Pt denied SOB, difficulty swallowing, chest tightness, nausea, rash, itchiness, dizziness. No visible swelling. HR: 70 O2: 100% BP: 120/78 Flushing resolved after 15 minutes. Throat symptoms continued to be the same. Paged Allergy (Itchy). Pt given 10 mg Cetirizine PO. Pt observed for another 15 minutes and symptoms continued to improve. Pt sent home, advised by Allergy to follow up/seek emergency care as needed with any changes or new symptoms and to continue to take an antihistamine for a few days at home. Pt will f/u with Allergy for second vaccination.

Adverse event: Hives, redness, and itching on face, neck, chest, bilateral arms, abdomen, back, bilateral side of the groin, Bilateral legs front and back, and both tops of the feet Treatment: Bendrayl PO, 50 mg Q4 hrs, Prednisone PO 40 mg Daily, Pepcid PO 40 mg Daily. Cortisone 1% cream and Calamine lotion on affected areas Outcome: Effective, 90% of rash gone.

Temporal temperature of 101.1 ^F, oral temperature of 100.8 ^F at 1025 (am) on 1/21/2021. Acetaminophen taken at 1100 (am). Tympanic temperature at 1600 was 98.7 ^F. No medication taken. Tympanic temperature at 1800 was 98.6 ^F. Nausea sudden onset at 1020 (am) on 1/21/2021. Relieved at 1200 (noon) after having lunch. Fatigue started 1/21/2021 at 0600 (am). Resolved at 1300 on 1/21/2021. Muscle aches started 1/21/2021 at 0600 (am). Resolved 1/22/2021 at 0600 (am). Chills sudden onset at 1020 (am) on 1/21/2021. Resolved 1/21/2021 by 1400. Injection site pain, localized pain on upper shoulder. Started on 1/21/2021 at 0300 (am) resolved by 1/21/2021 at 0630 (am).

Fever the for two days after with injection site soreness that progressed to muscle insertion site. Then 6 days later mild fever again with marked axillary lymph node swelling and soreness around. Swelling took 2.5 days to resolve.

I developed a rash on my left arm about an inch below the injection site on January 18th 2021, 11 days after receiving the first dose of the covid vaccine. It was about the size of a nickel and the next day it grew to the size of about an inch tall and two inches wide. It was warm to the touch and splotchy. The next day it grew to about the size of the diameter of a sofa can and started itching. I had gone to the doctor the second day of the rash and they suggested that I get a covid test, which came back negative, and to put heat on it and some antibiotic ointment on it and watch it. I called the doctor the next day because it grew and was now itchy. I also had an itchy mouth. The doctor suggested that I take an antihistamine twice a day for 7 days to see if that helps. I started this last night, January 20 2021. Today is the 4th day, the rash has not grown and is no longer itchy and my mouth is no longer itchy.

Rash at and around injection site 7 days after receiving. Faint arm pain also returned. Headache and more than usual tiredness for 7 days after first dose

Injection site has turned into red hive-like bump, approximately 1.5-2 in. in diameter, and is incredibly itchy. There has been minor itchiness since time of injection (1/14/21, 2:30 pm), nothing major. Starting 1/21/21 approximatelt 5:30-6:00 pm, noticed the injection site is now large red bump and has remained there and itchy.

1 week after receiving the dose, I had a reaction near the injection site on my right shoulder. There is redness, swelling, itchiness, and it is warm to the touch.

Two days after the shot in Colorado I began to develop a rash on my right arm at the injection site. I had flown back to North Carolina where I am on a student rotation at a hospital the day after the vaccine (Sunday 1/17). Since then (Monday 1/18) the rash has expanded to my entire upper arm and is continuing to extend downwards. I had swelling for about a day but that went away. I had some swollen lymph nodes in my axilla and neck but they are no longer swollen. Now my arm remains extremely itching and red. I went to the ED this evening and they gave me IV Solumedrol, Pepcid, and famotidine. The rash went away except for outside of a line of demarcation we made earlier in the day. This morning I woke up with an intense itching in the arm. I rubbed my hand over it (didn?t itch it) and the redness came right back. It is continuing to expand down my arm.

Itching on sunday night starting on chest, monday morning rashes worsen and appeared on B UE and L LE. Cortisone cream applied otc not helping. Urgent care on Tuesday night and prescribed with triamcinolon.Friday, Rashes still itchy but redness slightly getting better

I?ve been fine up until day 7 (1/22/21) when I noticed my arm felt itchy at the injection site. When I checked, there is a red, raised bump. It still feels itchy, very warm and tender to touch.

Moderate pain at site of administration + for about 18 hours after, which was expected; Around 01/18/2021 pain returned, increasing in severity, took ibuprofen 800 mg in morning and evening; 01/19/2021 took ibuprofen 800 mg in morning and evening; in evening had sudden onset rash around and below site of administration, very warm, very red, sharply-bordered, mildly itchy, perhaps 3 square inches in size, applied 1% hydrocortisone; 01/20/2021 rash had increased in size overnight by perhaps a half inch, took ibuprofen 800 mg morning and evening; in evening went to Urgent Care who advised it did not seem infections, allergic, or injured and was likely a benign side effect of vaccine, so prescribed meloxicam and triamcinolone 0.1%; 01/21/2021 - 01/22/2021 symptoms well controlled with meloxicam 7.5 mg twice daily and triamcinolone 0.1% twice daily and subsiding 01/23/2021 rash is gone, pain minimal

Burning red at injection site immediately after. Sore arm the rest of the day. Started headache and fatigue 6 hours later. 24 hours later more extreme fatigue, headache, and full body aches.

7 days post vaccine developed redness/pain/swelling/itching at injection site. Worsened every day. Flu like symptoms began for 48 hours 7 days post vaccine Went to two telehealth appointments, urgent care, dermatologist, workers comp for arm. It is now two and a half weeks and redness still is here but is improved. Was on keflex, bactrim, Benadryl, Pepcid, steroid cream, Tylenol, Advil.

1 week after the vaccine, an itchy, red, swollen patch of skin appeared at the injection site (left arm). It is warm to the touch and significantly itchy. It is currently the size of a golf ball but appears to be growing.

One week later following my vaccination, a rather large rash appeared below the injection site. The rash was very swollen, hot and hard to touch, itchy at times, and painful with pain traveling down to the tips of my fingers. I medicated with Tylenol for four days, Zrytec for one day, applied hydrocortisone cream, and iced it with an ice pack, all without any improvement. Five days later, the pain and swelling finally went away, but the rash does still remain to this day.

A week after I got my first injection of the moderna vaccine the injection site started to swell, become hot and itchy.

One week after vaccination, a red itchy rash developed on the same arm. Rash faded overnight and was totally gone after three days. 200 mg of ibuprofen taken on day one; all other meds taken during this timeframe were my normal daily meds.

Swelling, redness, hardness, soreness 2 hours after vaccine. Lasted 2 days after vaccine then my arm went back to normal. 8 days after receiving vaccine, swelling, redness, big red oval almost 5 inches in length sideways, upper arm is very hard and injection site is very warm (102 degrees). This is worse than it was right after I received the vaccine. Took 400mg of Advil today and it didn?t seem to do much.

I have pain in the axilla region in the arm where I was given the shot this pain started shortly after the initial pain from the injection subsided. My arm is also weak and I have been unable to have full range of motion, the swelling has not subsided.

At the site of injection, I developed a 6cm ovoid erythematous rash. It is slightly raised and pruritic. It feels warm and is redder around the perimeter than in the center.

1 day after vaccination, developed small patchy red area around site of injection, slightly warm to touch. Had 2-3 days of fatigue, body aches, arm soreness. Redness around site seemed to be fading/improving as time went by but redness did not fully go away. 13 days after vaccination (today), overnight the area became a large (4-5 cm at widest point) oval with well-defined red border, and lighter pink in middle. Warm to touch. No itching, pain or tenderness. After being seen (today) was prescribed Cephalexin 500mg 3 times a day and advise to take Benadryl 2 times a day.

8 days post vaccine I got a cellulitis infection where vaccine was administered, which needed antibiotics to treat

On Jan 18th, patient experienced re-swelling at injection site with redness and cellulitis; enlarged lymph nodes in armpit; stomach pain. she had a follow-up appointment with her primary physician who prescribed an antibiotic. She reports that that the issue has not resolved at the time of this report

At 2:05, when patient was ready to leave the post-vaccination observation room, she stated that she experienced a brief interval of symptoms, lasting less than 30 seconds; tingling at vaccination site, tingling finger tips both hands, mild dizziness, and brief shortness of breath. Resolved on its own. Took some fruit juice P.O. States she had not eaten since breakfast, 6 hours ago. Felt well and able to leave site independently.

Arm was swollen and hurt when the shot was given. Signs and symptoms were consistent with warnings with the first injection. . A week after injection. Area swelled more than the first week. Auxiliary pain in left shoulder still prominent. Experienced more severe symptoms such as headaches, tiredness, and joint aches. Area of injection was hot to the touch, extremely itchy when it was swollen. Slightly elevated temperature for the last two weeks.

1 day after injection, the injected arm was sore. This was greatly diminished the next day. Some itching at the injection site but very mild. In the evening exactly 7 days after vaccination more itching was noticed. Area felt like one large, flat bump. About 1 inch under the injection site the skin is large, itchy, and hard, maybe 2 inches in diameter. Area is slightly warm to the touch.

Fever 102.5, full body chills and shaking, Nausea, generalized muscle soreness, fatigue, injection site swelling Took Tylenol, pepto bismo, nightquil Lasted about 36 hours

Immediately felt tongue swelling. Moderate to Severe body chills, temporal and frontal headaches for 4 days, severe body aches, moderate nausea for 72 hrs, and severe arm soreness. Hives at the injection arm two weeks later.

Patient developed wheal - like reaction at injection site the evening of receiving the vaccine. Not tender to touch. Not warm to touch. Approximate size of 4.5cm in length and 5.5cm in height. No other systemic symptoms.

0/24/2021: vaccination site a little itchy. Had a migraine at 6pm advil didn?t help. Threw up. Exceeding migraine helped. (Not 100% sure if this is related to the covid vaccine as I have had migraines in the past) 01/25/2021, a week after the vaccination, woke up with vaccination site red, hot, swollen and itchy. Was itchy the previous day but not as severe. Swelling and redness not going down with ice pack. The red circle around the vaccine site is about 2 inches. I am monitoring if it gets bigger.

I noticed the day after my injection that my arm was very hot and swelling. I put ice packs on it but that only helped with the itchiness. As days have gone on its gotten larger a little larger than orange. It very red, swollen,itchy and HOT. Called my Doctor on the 23rd and she prescribed me bactrim. At this time not much change.

**Patient has fully transitioned to male has had everything removed** Woke up around 3AM fever, chills, blisters going back and lower arm. I have one on my hand and I have line going up to my elbow then on blisters on my back as well. It looks like chicken pox. They are itching and hurt. Has called his doctor, sent over photos of the "blisters" still waiting for a call back

Pt got her second dose of Moderna on 01/22/2021 01/23/2021 @ 9AM pt states feeling pain in her left arm. She noticed a red bump around site of injection (deltoid) She contacted her provider yesterday and was instructed to take Benadryl. Today she still has the rash, warm at touch. She will see her provider for FU on Thursday.

1/23 /21: Swollen and painful lymph nodes in left armpit and neck 1/24/21: Same as above 1/25/21: Same as above and swelling near injection site. Left arm near injection site also became red and itchy. 1/25/21: Same as above with patches of itchy redness on face

ON JANUARY 13TH SHE DEVELOPED RED SPOTS AROUND THE VACCINATION AREA AND IT GREW. IT WENT AWAY ON JANUARY 18TH AND 19TH, BUT CAME BACK ON JANUARY 20TH AS A VERY LITTLE RASH. ON JANUARY 20TH SHE WENT INTO THE CLINIC TO GET A KENALOG SHOT. THEN ON JANUARY 21ST IT BECAME A BIG RED, ITCHY RASH. ON JANUARY 22ND AROUND 7 PM SHE DEVELOPED A LARGE BRUISE INSIDE THE LARGE RED ITCHY AREA. IT ALSO STARTED BURNING FOR HER. SHE HAS BEEN ITCHY EVERYWHERE, BUT HAS NOT DEVELOPED HIVES. THE CLINIC ORIGINALLY THOUGHT IT WAS CELLULITIS, BUT NOW FEEL IT IS NOT CELLULITIS. THEY ARE FEELING IT MAY BE AN ALLERGIC REACTION.

Developed red patch/rash at site of vaccine-right arm. 8 days post vaccination. Occasionally itchy and swollen, heart rate higher that day than normal. Lasted 2 days and then cleared up completely.

1 week post vaccination, left arm local red, warmth, inflammation, itchiness. Physician prescribed antibiotics because they weren't sure if it was an infection or reaction due to the late presentation.

Red, warm, blotchy rash on right arm in general vicinity of the injection area. No treatment currently aside from applying Cortisone cream at home.

Approximately 7 days after vaccination, the skin on my left deltoid became warm to the touch and a rash appeared. During the first day of the rash it was tender to the touch, but since then the tenderness has subsided. The rash has grown in size and become more red in the past few days. The rash will itch intermittently throughout the day. Currently the rash takes up most of my deltoid. I will be starting topical corticosteroids ASAP.

My arm injection site was hurting. I had stabbing pains in my lower back like a knife into my spine. I had a fever, chills, dizziness, body aches, light headed. I could not hold my eyes open cause light was too bright. I had a migraine and nausea and vomiting. I had a knife stabbing sensation in my chest that did not stop. I was short of breathe and wheezing. Very itchy all over my body mainly on whole left side where I got the injection. Very tired and felt like I could not move

Pain, itching, redness, swelling started one week after receiving the vaccine. No other reactions prior. Got better with antibiotic and then worsened today (1/27/21). Redness spread and more pain and itching. Hot to touch. Will start taking a prescribed anti-inflammatory.

Itchy scabs on left hand, both elbows erythematous, warm, itchy, indurated nodules. Also developed scabs/itching on backs of legs and toes.

DATA: 2:45pm: Pt scheduled for first dose Moderna COVID-19 vaccine today. Allergies and appropriateness for injection reviewed with pt prior to immunization. Pt reported bell pepper allergy only and denied prior use of epi pen. Pt received immunization at 2:45pm and waited in waiting room for 15min. 3:00pm: This RN evaluated pt for response to vaccine. Pt reported her neck was itchy, anterior neck assessed which showed multiple red "hive-like" spots. Pt was brought back to procedure room and informed that a provider would need to evaluate her. Provider evaluated pt. This RN then assisted per provider with interval vitals and assessments and medication administration of the following: 3:06pm VITALS: 123/80 bp; 73 HR 3:07pm MEDICATION: Administered per verbal of BJB solumedrol 125mg/2ml (lot AK5128, exp 10/21), 2mL administered in R dorsal gluteal. Pt had site tenderness, otherwise tolerated well. 3:07pm MEDICATION: Diphenhydramine 25mg two capsules administered to patient. Exp 1/2021. 3:20pm VITALS/LUNGS: 128/78 bp; 58 HR; 96% O2 on room air; clear lung sounds bilat. 3:35pm Pt reported feeling dizzy and that her throat was itchy. Vitals and assessment done by this RN; provider called in to room who evaluated further. 3:35pm VITALS/LUNGS/THROAT: 125/87 bp; 69 HR; 97% O2 room air; clear lung sounds bilat; throat check, no visible swelling. 3:50pm Pt reported feeling hot as well as throat slightly swelling. Denied dizziness. Vitals and assessment done by this RN; provider called in to room who evaluated further. 3:50pm VITALS/LUNGS/THROAT: 108/79 bp; 66 HR; 98% O2 room air; clear lung sounds bilat; throat check, no visible swelling. 4:04pm MEDICATION: This RN administered per verbal of BJB, Epi pen 0.3mg lot OFM128 exp 09/30/21 in to pt's right vastus lateralis. Pt tolerated well. 4:05pm VITALS/LUNGS/THROAT: 120/79 bp; 68 HR; 97% O2 room air; clear lung sounds bilat; no visible throat swelling. 4:15pm Pt reported lessened throat swelling sensation. 4:15pm VITALS: 116/77 bp; 78 HR; 97% O2 room air. Pt reported continued sensation of throat swelling sensation to provider. Pt refused EMS and agreed to further treatment of 2nd epi pen and famotidine IV. 4:25pm MEDICATION: This RN administered per verbal of BJB, 2nd Epi pen 0.3mg lot OFM128 exp 09/30/21 in to pt's left vastus lateralis. Pt noted site tenderness upon injection, otherwise tolerated well. 4:35pm MEDICATION: Pt began IV drip of famotidine 20mg/50ml over 15min through left arm. 4:40pm VITALS: 129/80 bp; 80 HR; 96% O2 room air. Pt's mother arrived to help pt home. 4:45pm VITALS: 126/78 bp; 83 HR. 4:50pm IV disconnected and pt was assisted with transferring to wheel chair. Discharge instructions for pt included provider recommending she go to ED for further evaluation. Pt refused. Provider sent pt home with #8 capsules of benadryl 25mg PO two Q4-6hrs; x2 epi pen pack of 0.3mg each, lot OFM128, exp 09/2021; provider also gave recommendation for pt to use triamcinalone pt already had on hand at home topically for red spots on anterior neck BID 7-10days and to avoid hot showers. This RN educated patient on epi pen administration, instructing her to try and do it while sitting due to affects on heart; to remove from plastic case, remove blue top, and to dart perpendicularly into outer middle thigh, hold for 3 seconds. Pt instructed to contact office for any questions and to seek emergency medical care for any worsening. Pt referred to allergist for consultation and approval for 2nd COVID-19 Moderna dose. Pt stated understanding.

Patient has redness, swelling that is warm to touch at location of injection that has been getting larger. Currently measuring at 6cm/5cm. Has been taking Benadryl but has not noticed improvement.

about ten minutes after the second dose, i got dizzy, felt like my heart was pounding out of my chest, hives around the injection site, and my tongue went numb. after the nurses checked my vitals, my blood pressure was elevated, i was tachycardic, so they administered oral Benadryl. after an hour of being closely monitored i was cleared to go. the next day, i was still really dizzy, nauseous, had body aches and bad headaches. that saturday, i went to the er at hospital for the same symptoms just worsening and now at this point my lymphnodes under my left armpit were very large. they proceeded to do blood work, gave me 2 liters of fluids, iv zofran and iv pepsid. the blood work had no signs of infection and was completely normal. the doctor then sent me home with zofran to help with the nausea and pepsid 2 times dailey to try to get the lymph node to come down. 1/27/21 i returned back to the er for chest pains and still dizzy, body aches, and headaches. all chest x-rays, blood work, and ekg were normal and they sent me home. still today 1/28/21 i am still very dixxy, have body aches, bad headaches, nauseous, have no appetite, short of breathe when walking short distances, and have swollen lymph nodes.

1/25/21 0800 Fever 101.5, nausea, joint pain, HA. Rash appeared at injection, circular around 50 cm in length. Red, hot and itchy. 1/27/21 1600-1700 rash increased in size to 195 cm. Red, hot and itchy. Other symptoms resolved by 1900. Oral and cream Benadryl OTC taken and administed had no effect on rash

1-16-21 Sore arm and knot at injection site. 1-18-21 woke up with swollen lips, rash around mouth/face and my lips and tongue were numb

Received vaccine at 9 am and was slightly fatigued throughout the day - mainly started around 1/2PM. Body aches and dizziness started around 6PM, aches ran from my lower back down to my toes. Headache (when standing), fever (between 99.8, up to 100.4) and chills started around 9/930PM. All symptoms lasted throughout the night. Body aches subsided around 10am. 1/29 - body is sore, pain at injection site, severe headache.

I was very sore at the site of injection around 6-7 PM. At approximately 1:00 AM, I started experiencing a fever (101.3 F), chills, aches, and some heart palpitations. I took 1000 mg of acetaminophen, which helped to reduce the fever and chills. When I woke up, I was nauseous, had a serious headache, fatigue, minor chills, a fever (101.3 F) and more noticeable heart palpitations (when measured with my smartwatch, it reported bpm of 118-124). I had a virtual consult with a physician who advised me to be seen by urgent care immediately.

"Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA" - large rash around the injection site approximately 6-7 inches in diameter. Rash has grown to this size within three days after second injection. Rash is red, hot, itchy, and sore.

8 days after injection I developed an oval-shaped rash around injection site, about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. No pain, burn, or itch. The rash has gotten lighter each day (now 11 days after injection, 4 days of rash). It is darker red around the precise site of injection (a nickel sized red circle), then paler surrounding it, then the outer ring of the oval gets darker red again. Had a teledoc appointment and was told not to worry unless I develop symptoms of cellulitis. The rash is still there, lighter, but just as large (some parts have even spread larger, but have gotten less red). Still no pain or irritation. Have been putting hydrocortisone cream on 2-3x/day.

Swollen, red and firm at site of injection. Tender to touch. Developed low-grade fevers, body aches, as well as headaches in the evening and into the following day.

I noticed a small red circle on my arm on the 22nd. It continued to get bigger each day until it was about the size of a softball on the 24th. It was warm to the touch and slightly itchy. Over the next few days the size didn?t change but it started to get less red until it finally went away on the 26th.

I had a red raised hot area after the shot that itched. 10 days after I got the 1st dose, it spread throughout my arm. The small red, raised itchy spot had now increased in size and spread throughout my arm and up in my shoulder. My shoulder now hurts when I raise it up or try and pick anything up certain movements. My arm has a weird feeling in my shoulder all the way to my hand sometimes. It feels tingly at times but is not constant. My skin where the reaction happened is now different. It is rough and different to touch.

My first dose went well. I just had a sore arm. 8 days prior to my second dose I was covered in thick hives head to toe. I went to and urgent care, the ER, saw my PCP, and got established with a dermatologist within those eight days who put me on predisone and Pepcid. Nothing was helping and the day of my second dose I still had hives all over my body, but about three hours after my shot, they were almost completely gone. Not sure if the vaccine had something to do with that or if it was a coincidence. Other than that I felt fantastic after my second dose.

After the vaccine, I had the normal sore arm that went away after a day or so, but no real side effects. On day 8 after receiving the vaccine, my arm around the injection site swelled up around 3in wide and 4-5in long. It has been extremely itchy for a couple of days with the swollen area being very red.

At 3am (Wednesday) the following day after my shot, I began having chills and a fever. My fever started at 100.5 and continued through out the entire day, reaching 102. degrees Fahrenheit. At the same time I was extremely weak and could hardly walk. I had a pounding headache and could not sit up. I had to lay down. I was very nauseous and couldn't eat much. I was dizzy and couldn't even look at my phone. at 9pm on Wednesday I was able to finally eat a substantial meal and finally took some Tylenol. Around 10:30pm my headache lessened and I was able to sit up. My temperature was around 99 degrees. I went to bed, then woke up at 1am (Thursday) freezing again with chills, then the sweats. By 3:45am I was able to sleep until 7am. 7am on Thursday morning my temperature was normal (98.6) but my head was hurting. I had some weakness but was able to stand long enough to shower. The biggest symptom I had all day Thursday was a lot of body aches. Mostly in my hips and back, but all over. My right arm was also extremely red and swollen. Wednesday and Thursday I stayed home from work. Friday I returned to work, but I had a headache, would get over heated easily and had body aches. This is when the injection site and surrounding area began itching. Saturday I had a stomach ache and head ache and continued to feel sluggish. I did not move around much and was exacerbated trying to grocery shop. Sunday I had pressure in my head (top of the head) especially when I would bend down. It is now Monday. My headache has cleared but my arm remains itchy, though there is no sign of swelling or redness. I do not have a history of Chronic Migraines and I have not had a cold/the flu in over a year.

Throat swelling, SOB, rash on chest. Symptoms began to occur within 4 min after injection. Began to improve within 20 mins, without medical treatment. Throat swelling completely resolved at about 30 mins without medical treatment. Given solumedrol benadryl, although symptoms had already begun to resolve.

23 hours post injection developed chills, fatigue, flushing ( no fevers), body aches, headache, arm pain (including axillary pain), nausea and vomiting, and generalized sensitive skin.

fever, chills, body ache, headache, fatigue, extreme pain in injected arm from 12-36 hrs post vaccine. bruising at injection site and swollen lymph nodes to present.

Day 8 I woke up the injection spot felt tender and sore again. I noticed the spot was red, warm, a little itchy and swollen around the injection site.

At 20 minutes s/p vaccination deltoid became extremely sore . At 2 hours s/p vaccination i became feverish. At 10 hours s/p vaccination I became nauseous and developed a severe headache.

Patient had tenderness and pain at the time of the vaccine on 1/31/21. On 2/1/21, patient woke with severe headache in morning which persisted throughout the day; also had fatigue and body aches, found it hard to move arm , the site was inflamed and swollen . Patient napped all day. Today, 2/2/21 patient's left arm pain is mild and getting much better; headache, body aches, and fatigue have gone away.

1/27/21 at 11:00 am I noticed my injection site was swollen red and itchy. Everyday since then injection site has become increasingly red and itchy. Red spot is getting bigger.

All over body itchiness, varying in location with no physical rash or marks started 1 week after first dose. On feb 1st, after about 5 days of itchiness I developed rash at injection site, redness, hives, itchiness. Took Benadryl and itchiness and rash went away temporarily.

1/27/21 (night) started having chills 1/30/21- started having pain/lymph node tenderness in injection arm which continued through Sunday & still experiencing some discomfort 2/1/21- noticed rash on left deltoid- approx. a half inch below injection; large, circular rash- itchy, warm, red & hard & measured approx. 2 x 2.5 inches; patient noticed some improvement on 2/2/21 when she reported reaction

Right after vaccine arm was sore, 2 hrs later I developed a headache that last a day. Arm continued to be a little sore. Then almost a week later my injection site was very itchy when I looked a it there was a big, raised, red, hot, very itchy bump where injection site was, I let it go for a couple days. within the 2 days it continued to be very itchy and hot, it went from a raised red bump to a kind of flat but raised red area that covered a lot of my upper arm around and on injection site. Didn't do anything about. The next day it was really bothering me , it looked really bad and was very itchy. I took a picture and sent it to the Physician Assistant I work with she told me to put cortisone on it, ice it and antihistamine . I did put some cortisone on it which did help a little with the itching. I noticed that the redness slowly started to fade, itch started to go away. I noticed on 2/1 that all redness and itchiness went away. My husband was doing research in the meantime and came across COVID Arm. Which 100% made sense. I consulted my family physician whom at the time did not hear of that he looked up some info and said to contact pharmacy I got the vaccine at. I spoke with pharmacy staff who said he was going to report it and wanted me to as well.

As stated in the patient information, First time filling out. After taking a shower, there were hives on the back of my legs at least 3 - 4 inches. Prevented myself from itchy any further in case it worsens. Today my wrist on my left arm started to feel itchy. Been keeping myself hydrated and would feel more muscle pain from time to time. The moment I felt relaxed is when I feel body aches. It is tolerable but this is only day 2 and will be getting my 2nd dose in March.

Shortly after red itchy bumps appeared all over my body, they lasted about 4 days causing me to go see my PCP who prescribed the 1st round of prednisone which didnt work so she prescribed another round which cleared it up a little but soon after the bumps came back just as bad and its going on 5 weeks now and I am no longer taking anything but the bumps and itchiness are still present.

Roughly 10 hours after receiving the 2nd Moderna covid vaccine my hand turned red and swollen bilaterally and from the 2nd knuckle down to the end of the fingers they were completely pale and the nails began turning blue. The change in color was a very defined straight line border. It was not painful and there was no numbness or tingling. I had not been outside or done anything involving a change of temperature. Along with my second dose I also experienced severe chills/shivering , nausea, sweating, fatigue, and body aches. These also happened with the first dose. The change in color to my hands lasted about 2 hours. There does not seem to be any lingering issues since then.

Left upper arm has a red swollen area that is warm to the touch and measures 7.5 cm X 7.5cm. The spot appeared 01/30/21 and grew bigger on 01/31/21. Injection site is lower than then deltoid and the reddened area is toward the inner arm. Explained conservative measures including cool compresses and if allowed by PCP OTC IBU and antihistamines. Explained to watch for sign of cellulitis including red streaking and skin tightness. Employee verbalized understanding and agrees with plan.

I had hives all over my neck, chest, and back. Fever, sore throat, body aches, and joint pains, cough, and fatigue.

The next day giant red spot on right arm at the injection site lasted 3 days, body aches for 1 day, and possible fever (dint check temp).

Patient showed a picture of injection area and was large red and swollen. Patient stated it appeared approximately 1 week following 1st dose for Moderna. Redness lasted a few days and went away.

Hard, baseball sized bump under vaccine site and round red circle appeared approximately 8 days after getting the injection, which two days later turned into a large, splotchy red rash that traveled down my arm along with itchy hives

Left arm began to become firm at the injection site, itchiness, redness and area started to become hot to the touch. No pain or soreness indicated at this time.

Injection site reaction - muscle pain; cold chills; sweats, low grade fever (99.7); significant muscle aches - specifically lower back and hips; armpit soreness/lymph nodes

Itchy red bump at injection site started at about 7 days after shot. Initially size of a quarter, grew to be slightly larger. Red spot was also warm to the touch. Used Benadryl to help with itching and redness. Symptoms resolved about 3-4 days of initial symptoms.

Female caller stated she reccieved the vaccine on 1/25/2021 @ 4:10 pm in her left arm and has expereinced itching to the injection site since she was injected. But yesterday she not a 2 inch circular red spot at injection site, still no pain only experiencing itching. RN recommended a 1% OTC cortisone cream to be applied direcly to affected area. If the itching should persist to contact her PCP. Caller verbalized understanding.

Sore arm, slight swelling and redness at injection site, red circle slightly bigger than a quarter at injection site all starting day after vaccine. Redness and swelling has started to go down

Pregnant 20 weeks currently; I experienced left arm soreness at the injection site with a stinging sensation to half of my face. These symptoms lasted four days then they resolved.

About 2.5 hours after the initial injection (like 1:30pm), my arm (around the injection site) started to feel sore like after getting a flu shot. It was manageable but noticeable. Around 10:30pm I began to run a fever. When I took my initial temperature (around 11:00pm) it was 100.5. A half hour later I threw up and took my temperature again and it was up to 102.3. I took Children's Chewable motrin (the only thing we had in the house and I don't like taking pills anyway) and went to sleep. I woke up without a fever, temperature this morning was 98.8. The arm soreness continued into the next day and the soreness spread into my right armpit. The injection site is still extremely sensitive (even to put lotion on) at this time on 2/7/21 @9:30pm. Some chills continued throughout the day but nothing a blanket or a warm shower couldn't fix.

Arm pain extending from injection site to elbow started two hours after administration of the vaccine and continued for 48+hours. Body aches, headache, night sweats, and tiredness started the morning after vaccine administration and extended for 24+hrs. Breathing painful at times due to severe muscle aches around the ribs. General life activities severely impacted.

Beginning night of shot headache, body aches, chills, fever, nausea, arm stiffness. "Sore skin, like skin sensitivity." Took Tylenol 1,000mg, and Pepto. Patient reported some mild relief of nausea after taking Pepto.

About 12 hours post vaccination: stomach cramps and diarrhea, then about 18 hours post vaccination: muscle aches, chills, fever (up to 101.8 at one point), swollen lymph nodes. Now, almost 48 hours later: the muscle aches still remain, and the swollen lymph nodes have gotten worse. There is large, discolored swollen area under my left arm (the arm I got the vaccine in) and it is very very sore. I can?t put my arm all the way down because it is so swollen under there

I felt fatigued for 24-36 hours beginning 4hrs after injection. I experienced chills overnight after the injection. The morning following the injection I had moderate - severe upper arm pain at and around the injection site leading to impaired mobility and limited ability to use my arm. I also felt nauseous, had a headache, dizziness, and general malaise. I took Tylenol and my symptoms began to improve. The arm pain is still present but is slowly improving.

In left area near the injection site was sore. By the next day my arm had trouble with movement and could not lift my arm above my head. On the third day little to no pain near the injection site and full movement in my arm.

After receiving my second does on Friday 2/5/21. I started to have symptoms the day after injection, Sat 2/6/21, I felt uncomfortable like I had a fever, but I didn't have a fever. My temperature is only 98 degrees. Later on Sat 2/6/21 around 5 pm I started to feel like I have a cold and tire and very uncomfortable all my body including my muscles. I slept it off. I felt better the next day on Sunday 2/7/21. However, I still had soreness at the injection area on Sunday 2/7/21. I felt a lot better on Mon 2/8/21, but still have a little bit of nausea once awhile.

Patient developed a rash around the injection site immediately following the injection 1/5/2021. Patient was given Benadryl 25 mg po 1/6/2021 @ 0729 am, and rash subsided.

Had muscle fatigue and chills with low grade fever for 6-7 hours. The injection site started swelling Saturday afternoon and increased in size and redness very fast. I applied an ice pack and took an Advil. Sunday the injection site is still swollen.

RIght sided facial swelling. Itching and burning on right side of body as well as swelling to right arm. Pt is being treated with prednisone, pepcid, claritin, vistaril, and Clindamycin.

The day I received the vaccine I had a headache, mild arm soreness, and slight fatigue. These symptoms went away the next day. On day 10 post vaccination, a red rash developed on my left arm where I had been vaccinated. My arm was extremely sore this time. The next day I woke up with a severe rash all over my body. It was symmetrical, both of my hands/ elbows/thighs/ankles/and feet were covered in raised red bumps. The rash was extremely itchy. It continued to get worse for the next couple of days. After consulting with a doctor, I took a steroid dose pack and used a topical steroid cream to stop the rash from continuing to get worse. It eventually went away about a week and a half later.

Hives, rash, headaches, body pain, chills, red spots in all the body, swollen lips, itchy in all body.

Fever, chills, chest tightness, cough, sore throat, headache, loss of appetite, arm soreness, body aches, arm rash/redness near injection site. Lasted 72 hours.

After the second dose, the next morning I had a low grade fever and slight headache. But extreme pain in my bones. It felt like they were all about to break. As well as extreme pain at he injection site. Symptoms lasted roughly 12 hours. Now 6 days after the vaccine, I am still having whiplash like neck pain.

1. About 3 hours after the injection, pain at the injection site. 2. About 10 hours after the injection, experience headache, chills, fevers, nausea, extreme exhaust, and unable to move the arm of injection. 3. All symptoms resolved 48 hours after the injection.

The day of the vaccine my left arm hurt, and I got a red and itchy circle around the injection site, this lasted about 4 days. On day 8 of post vaccine, the red circle appeared again, this time bigger, and more itchy than before. I went to the doctor following the return of the red ring and it being bigger, and was told to take some benadryl/cetrizine and that would help, I continued to take Benadryl for 3 days and it went away completely.

Localized reaction at injection site noted on Monday night (2/8), muscle is firm and inflamed. Red rash (non irritating) noted 2/9 AM at injection site.

Red oval (about 2-in in diameter) at injection site, slightly tender and warm to the touch. Swollen lymph nodes in armpit and neck on the same side as the vaccine.

A week after I recieved the shot I started coughing and feeling terrible. That lasted for 1 day, however, my arm developed a large rash. It is now 2/09/2021 and the rash is still on my arm.

One week after vaccine, the vaccine site became red, hot, and itchy and felt like there was a knot under the skin the size of a golf or ping pong ball. Symptoms lasted approximately 48 hours and went away.

Ulnar Nerve pain going down left arm to fingers aggravated with dorsiflexion of left wrist. Two erythematous circles one inch diameter four inches away from injection site.

Monday night I started getting pretty fatigued and my arm was tired, and the next morning I woke up with body aches, headaches and joint pain. Five days after the injection, a rash started on my right forearm. Within 48 hours of onset, the rash had spread to all four limbs. By day three post onset, the rash covered all of my body, excluding face, hands, and feet. By day eight, the rash began weeping on my right forearm, similar to sun poison, or poison ivy. It is currently day 12 and my rash is dry and scabby on my right forearm, thighs, and knees. On day three of this reaction, I went to the place a received the vaccine to show the nursing staff. They said the rash looked ?lacy like Hand, Foot, Mouth Disease? and suggested I go to the immediate care to get evaluated. The physician?s assistant said it was a reaction to the vaccine. She suggested taking over the counter allergy medications. I have been taking Benadryl consistently and applying cortisone 10 and calamine on areas where it itches most

Broke out in hives on arms and hands. Hives on hand turned into painful nodules. Joint pain in shoulders and hips. Low grade fever.

18 hours after vaccine injection I started getting chills, fatigue, and back pain. This lasted for 2 full days. Then on 2/03/2021 I started getting a head pain in the back of my head. Then on 02/04/2021 I woke up with neck and shoulder pain. Current for 8 days now. Not better. Cant turn my head or shoulders. Same side as injection sight.

PATIENT COMPLAINED OF REDNESS AND SWELLING TO LEFT ARM THAT IS MOVING UP ARM TO SHOULDER, BROKE OUT IN RASH WITH SLIGHT SHORTNESS OF BREATH.

Moderna COVID?19 Vaccine I experienced a low fever, chills, shakiness, muscle aches, insomnia, nausua, extreme fatigue, and pain/swelling at injection site. All symptoms were unrelieved by tylenol and ibuprofen. Symptoms began about 10hrs after vaccine administration and persisted for 24hrs. Headache lasted for about 48hrs.

Staff reported that she experienced rash at injection site followed by "hives all over" (scalp, arms, legs, back of neck, chest, back of legs) itchiness, shortness of breath for 2 days with persistent cough, severe body aches, fever, chills, sweats, fatigue, headache, loss of appetite

I felt nauseous around 12 hours later and had insomnia until around 5am. I do not ever feel nauseous or have insomnia. There was pain at the site of injection for around 72 hours. I felt shaky and had chills the following day and was just a little hazy as well.

Ran low grade fever on 2/6 at 100.8. Headache for most of 2/6. Swollen lymph node in armpit on same side as injection.

The patient had her second COVID vaccine on 2/13/2021 around 1130 a.m. At 1145 she stated her lips were tingling. We placed her with the crew. Around 12noon she She said she started feeling like her tongue felt different. 1210 she said her tongue swelling sensation. We continued to monitor closely. at 1215 she reported that her throat felt like there was a pill stuck. 911 was called she stated herthroat felt funny, some nausea and a slight rash and her tongue started to feel like it was swellingworst and therefore sheinjected herself with her EpiPen at 1230. She was started feeling better and was brought in by EMS for medical eval. Denies short of breath and is having no trouble breathing or swallowing.

Hives went away but came back worse onto other extremities. I went to a different urgent care. The Dr. prescribed prednisone and Claritin. 'Delayed hypersensitivity reaction'.

I have been having persistent pain in my upper left arm at the site of injection. Pain has been registered at 4-6 on the pain scale of 10 and has been going on for 2 weeks. There is no swelling or discoloration but the pain is very uncommon for me.

Slept with a heating pad. First emotional meltdown. ?? Wednesday: 10% capacity. Headache, body aches, debilitating fatigue unfixed by rest. I had a two minute burst of energy, then off like a light switch, and slept for hours. ?? Night sixteen: chills, body aches, fatigue. ?? Thursday: Body aches, debilitating fatigue unfixed by rest. ?? Friday day seventeen - present 2/19/2021 with no end in sight. Debilitating fatigue unfixed by rest. I can?t read, can?t watch movies most of the time, get tired making myself food even when I sit in a chair in the kitchen, only drive if I absolutely have to, sleep 20ish hours a day, regular headaches (I almost never got headaches before), symptoms severely worsen with minimal or no activity, only resting in a quiet dark room helps. I am debilitated. I can?t work. I can?t grocery shop. I can?t cook without sitting down. If I take out the trash, I have to sleep the rest of the day. I have brain fog and can?t read. I can?t function.

Upon screening of 2nd vaccination, She reported that after her first vaccine (Moderna Lot 032L20A) , she developed a rash on her arm occurred about 3 hours after 1st vaccine. The rash started at injection site, went around her arm, and across her chest. She took Benadryl and it was resolved within 24 hours. Upon receipt of 2nd vaccine, she reported that her arm felt itchy and tingly within 15 minutes of receiving 2nd dose. After a few more minutes, she reported that she felt it going up her arm. I administered 25mg of diphenhydramine at clinic. She was doing better when I left clinic.

Pain day after injection and the day after. Exactly one week after injection, red/swelling/itchy at injection site and swollen lymphnods in armpit, mild pain when touched.

Headache, fever, nausea. Dizziness, sore at injection site, chills and sweats, body ache, trouble sleeping. Took Advil for the fever and headache - helped with fever but not the headache.

Started off as a hard, itchy patch on 2/20/21. Woke up 2/22/21 to it being three sizes of the initial reaction that was reported. Lethargy, muscle ache besides my usual rheumatoligcal issues, diarrhea, and lowgrade fever have been the reoccurring symptoms. Tried icing, did not make a difference

COVID Arm after second dose. Still experiencing rash like symptoms, itchiness, redness, swelling, burning, and hot to the touch. Headache continued from day 2.

The day after I received the vaccination my arm was very sore and I was tired and had a headache. 10 days after the vaccine I developed a red mark directly under the vaccination site on my left arm. It was 4 inches long and 2 inches wide at the widest point (it was shaped like a guitar). The mark was very red and hot to the touch. I noticed it on the morning of the 10th day and by evening time it was the reddest it got (it was not itchy or painful, just hot and red). By the next morning it had lightened and was no longer hot, as of writing this (Feb 24th) the mark has continued to lighten, it is still visible on my left arm.

These symptoms all began approximately at 8am (2/11) and lasted until approximately 12:30am (2/12) Extremely lightheaded (difficulty standing for longer than 2 minutes-almost lost consciousness 4 times). Nausea Chills Body Aches Soreness in left arm beginning approximately 3 hours after receiving the vaccine and lasted for approximately 5 days

developed fever chills and headache on 2/10, missed work on 2/11. TM states her fever and chill resolved on 2/11, headache is still on going but goes away with Tylenol. TM was previously positive so not set up for testing. TM reports her arm was red and hot at the infection site, still hot on 2/12, TM reports it is ?rock solid?, declined being seen for arm and attributes it to her sensitive skin, return to work on 2/12, cleared to continue working. no further care

I developed a huge red hot rash on my arm that was injected on 2/19. On 2/24, I went to Urgent care because it has continued to grow. They prescribed me medicated cream and it has now gotten less red, but is still very large and discolored.

Received vaccine at 9:15am and observed symptoms of severe rash on chest and neck with swelling in throat at 10:00am.

COVID-19 Vaccine. Hives on palms and feet one week later, hives lasted about 4 days and went away after taking benadryl.

Itchy swollen arm at injection site appearing the day after vaccine and lasting for four days. No reaction for a few days and then resurgence of swelling, redness, and itching at injection site one week after vaccination. Ice and hydrocortisone cream are somewhat effective.

Initial soreness under left armpit, followed by itchiness at the injection site the next day (the 29th). Noticed that I had hives around the injection site on the 30th, which then developed into a large, raised, circular rash around the injection site. Used hydrocortisone cream to treat the itchiness. The rash slowly dissipated over the course of the next 5-6 days.

Large hive size of softball on injection site. It was hot and tender to the touch with bruising. Had chills and aches 12 hours after injection. Fatigued the day after injection.

11:55: felt dizzy, throat tightening with difficulty swallowing, walked to the side of room, sat; continues to report dizziness; lied down, elevated legs on chair; Face became red and splotchy within 5 mins; 1203: O2: 99% HR: 86 BP: 118/82 Administered Benadryl 25 mg PO, coughed during 2nd dose of benadryl & c/o throat tightening; laid down; EMS notified; 12:08: Epi 0.3 mg Auto injector admin in right thigh; continues to c/o dizziness, and throat tightness; Voice clear; shaky, HR: 130s; Face became ashen and green; was sitting up, assisted to lie back down; EMS arrived 12:12 for transport to ED

Itchy injection site, entire injection site red (about 2in diameter) this was the same area of the arm that was swollen and painful in the 24-48 hrs following the injection but a week later. Injection site is still itchy 2 weeks after and slightly swollen, but no longer red.

Hives on my neck, arms, legs, chest, stomach, etc. they have been persisting since Friday evening. I took Benadryl last night and that helped with the itching but more seem to be appearing.

The day following the injection there was no swelling but was tender. No other symptoms besides that occurred. On day 02/28/2021 (Day 8) I began to experience what appears to be a delayed reaction. I felt a small bump start to form right at my injection site with mild itching. When I looked at it there seemed to be an additional line of redness leading away from the injection site though it was not raised. on 03/01/2021 there appeared to be a long raised rectangular/oval shape around my injection site. It is approximately an inch tall and 3-4 inches wide. It is slightly tinder and slightly itchy but nothing too bothersome. It is warm to the touch as well and redness is observed in the area. No other symptoms are present.

Arm pain began in early afternoon with skin tenderness beginning in the evening, which were followed by extreme chills, body aches that hurt to be still, muscle spasms, fever (102-101.4), throbbing headache (treated with ibuprofen x2 200mg Q4hr which helped some), then around 12am became hot and sweaty with aches and spasms persisting. Was able to sleep off and on every time I turned over onto my vaccine arm I woke because of the pain. Next morning I spent the day in bed with lingering chills, muscle aches, headache, and spasms, but less than night before. High Fever persisted (101.4) and a cough with mild shortness of breath developed. The night of 2/28 I took ibuprofen (same dose as before) and Benadryl which allowed me to sleep all night. This morning (3/1) I feel better, with fatigue, lightheaded, a mild fever of 99.3, and minimal muscle aches. Cough persists.

Currently experience redness, swelling, and hot area around the injection site. Treating with ibuprofen and ice.

Unable to sleep the night after receiving vaccine (unusual), soreness in arm, skin sensitive and sore all over (clothes causing discomfort), fever of 100.2 upon waking, severe headache, cramping in lower back and legs, extreme fatigue

I had hives show up on my wrists about a day and a half after receiving the vaccine. There have been no other life changes.

I developed a large ring around my injection site on 2/7/21 12 days after my first covid moderna vaccine dose. It was exactly 12 hours after I administered my monthly ajovy injection for migraine treatment ( a monoclonal antibody medication ) in my right arm. My vaccine site is my left arm. Before this time, I had little to no reaction to the vaccine. My arm was a little red at the injection site on day 2 but swiftly went away. The large red rash type reaction was hot it was not painful. It began to radiate out like a bulls eye rash would look after Lyme infection. It was a bullseye ring rash for about 4 days and then subsided. I felt tired during that time but no other symptoms like fever.

Patient got the COVID vaccine (first dose) last Thursday the 11th, and had some reaction to it. I felt itchy all over, my right heel has been red and swollen, a couple of nights I had chills but was sweating when I woke up and felt hot, the tops of my hands and fingers were red, irritated and extremely itchy until this morning, the injection site has been itchy but the red rash went away last night. I?ve been waking up puffy/swollen in my hands, face (eyelids, lips(not severe), today my feet are a bit swollen and my hands don?t seem red or itchy now.

Patient found unresponsive in recovery area at 6pm. Patient skin color gray, cool, unresponsive, no pulse noted by writer. Writer sternal rubbed patient and called name multiple times. Staff arrived to assist and writer sent one to call 911 and one staff member to get wheelchair to tranport patient to recovery area. While waiting for wheelchair after about 2 minutes patient regained consciousness, but still gray and not fully responsive. Patient stated she could see me but vision very blurry. Writer and LPN tranported patient to recovery and took vitals. Patient awake at this time. VS 110/80, 95%SpO2, pulse 76 at 6:06pm. Recheck of BP 132/110 at 6:14pm. Patient skin PWD. EMT's arrived assessed patient, took EKG-WNL, VSS stable, BP slightly elevated. EMT's offered to transport patient via amb to ER, patient declined. Writer released patient to boyfriend to drive her home.

Shortly after my first dose of the vaccine (within a day) I started to notice a red, painful, swelling in the area where the shot was administered. It kept growing for about 3 days and then began to slowly go away. It then came back about 2 days after it had completely healed and was once again itchy, red, painful, and swollen but not as large. This lasted for about 2 days.

Starting with just 5 hours after the vaccine, I had a slight fever which reached up to 99.6F and began to have some nausea. I was able to eat, and I took Tylenol throughout the night, then had a fever the following morning of 99.9. Took more tylenol and was fatigued. Fever reached up to 100.3 during the day, took more Tylenol. Just over 24 hours later, I noticed a large local injection site reaction on left arm where vaccine was administered. I felt it and it was a big bump on arm at injection site, intense pain and warmth at location. This location had much inflammation and about 7cm in diameter for the lesion. I immediately started putting ice on the location for a few hours and also took some Advil. I alternated with that and continued to take Tylenol and woke up during the night with a fever of 100.5, had night sweats. Woke up with a fever the next day again, but no more fever throughout the day after this. The lesion continued with pain at sight, and lesion has started to itch. It is 4 days after reaction appeared, and the inflammation and swollenness has now subsided. The location remains itchy, no more fever.

Very swollen and painful lymph nodes all over entire body (chest, shoulders, arms, stomach, calves) for 1 week. Felt nauseous, dizzy, and exhausted. No appetite. Struggled to read and process things. Could not work. Sharp pains in lymph nodes at various times throughout the day. Chest felt very tight and arm hurt to the point I thought I might be having a heart attack. Had trouble sleeping due to lymph node pain. Ibuprofen did not help. The arm pain at injection site was annoying but I barely noticed it due to my other symptoms.

Soreness at injection site, going on day 3 post injection. Extreme body aches starting at 9:00pm on day of injection up until morning of 3/5. Still some back soreness on 3/5

Sharp Pain/Swelling of Lymph nodes in right underarm. This appeared two days after getting the vaccine and was gone on its own by day 6 after getting the vaccine. The injection site was very swollen and hot for 7 days after the vaccine, but went away on its own.

On Sunday morning (02/14/2021) I woke up with red rashes on the stomach and back. The rashes were itchy. In the next few days, more rashes appeared on my stomach, back, and upper arms. A few appeared on my upper thighs. About 14 days later, I noticed the initial big rashes flattened and seemed to disappear. However, a lot of smaller red rashes appeared all over my upper body, the entire arms, and neck. I went to see my primary care physician on 02/22/2021 to have it checked and was referred to dermatology. I visited the dermatologist, on 03/03/2021 and was diagnosed with pityriasis rosea. I have never had this disease before and I am very worried that it was triggered by the vaccine. As of today 03/06/2021, I still have the rashes.

About 5-10 minutes after receiving the dose, a headache instantly appeared and throughout the day became a severe migraine that lasted up to two days. I had itching and redness at the injection site about 30 minutes after. I woke up in the middle of the night to hardness and sore, aching pain at the injection site. I did experience extreme exhaustion about an hour after injection and that lasted for about 24-36 hours. A weird bump has also formed spontaneously on the inside of my arm, opposite of the injection site at the same time the hardness and sore, aching pain arrived. The bump is slightly raised and a pink oval has formed around it with what appears to be blue and purple bruising. I have had this bump since Friday night and it just looks like it is becoming slowly, more bruised. However nothing is forming at the center of the red bump. I am unsure if the bump is related to receiving the vaccine or not, but did appear at the same time as other side effects.

Large red rash that was hard to the touch, hot and itchy. They I got a very bad headache for 2 days, a fever for 2 days and a cough for about a week.

Severe headache and fatigue, body aches and back pain this started around 7 this morning and my soreness at site of injection started about 5 hours post injection and is worse the next day where I cannot lift my arm above my head due to pain

Systemic: Allergic: Itch (specify: facial area, extremeties)-Mild, Systemic: Allergic: Swelling of Face / Eyes / Mouth / Tongue-Mild, Additional Details: Patient stated her lips felt tingly and started to swell. Patient took her own children's benadryl 12.5mg chewables x 3 doses and sat for 30 minutes. Symptoms resolved in minutes of taking benadryl. Patient left with Mom & Dad driving.

The day i recieved the shot I started to get a headache and my arm was sore and red. At about 1:30 am the next day I noticed the arm I got the shot in had a rash all the was down to my wrist amd it went into my back. My back and face were warm to the touch. It hurt to move my arm. The day after I recieved the shot my headache was much worse. Today which is the 2nd day after my shot my headache is terrible i am having a hard time doing every day things. And over the counter pain medication is not helping at all. The rash and sore arm is gone.

One week and one day after receiving the vaccine, I noticed a red, very stiff-feeling, rash-looking area encompassing nearly the entire front upper shoulder of my arm at the injection site. It was itchy, but slowly declined in itchiness, and it felt warmer than the rest of my skin. There was no pain. The next day, the stiffness and redness was almost gone but still noticeable. Two days later, it was completely gone. When looking it up, I saw the term "covid arm" being used.

patient reports tachycardia for 2 days when resting employee reports heart rate was between 100-110 but increased to 120 when employee sat up or got up. Fever of 100.9 for 1 day and chills for 3 days. Sharp and Throbbing headache for 3 days with lightheadedness on and off for 4 days. Injection site arm was itchy . Employee reports taking tylenol, zinc, vitamin D and Vitamin C

30 minutes after receiving vaccine (received at 1030AM), felt slight numbness and tingling in my whole face, but mostly between lower cheeks and upper forehead. Feeling is comparable to when you have local anesthesia for dental work and the anesthesia has almost worn off - area is still slightly numb but tingling and pin pricks are felt along with a slight chill. It is now 3PM on the same day, And while the feeling still seems to be minor, it has gotten worse since this morning. I am also experiencing minor diarrhea and stomach cramps which seem to have been brought on out of the blue. The injection site is not inflamed or red, although it is very sightly sore, and has a small, hard area around where the needle was inserted. Heart rate feels normal and temperature is average - 96.8. I have had no treatment for my symptoms, but if they progress, I will return to the doctors office.

Startinf 12 hours after vaccine, I experienced a very sore injection site, fever, and body aches. I took Tylenol which lessened symptoms but did not completely make them go away. Symptoms subsided after after 48 hours after vaccine.

In March 9th I have developed bad itchy rash all over my neck, back, and arms. I have taken Claritin and cortisone to help with the side effect. On the 10th I have developed rash on my feet and stomach.

Within one hour of receiving the vaccine client noticed hives on chest and neck. Face turned pink and warm. Got better with Benedryl. Resolved by the time client woke up from nightly sleep.

Starting about 1 minute after vaccination I became extremely dizzy, blacked out/lost vision, had shortness of breath and a tight chest, lost feeling in my hand and fingers on my left side (the side I got the vaccine), was sweating but felt cold flowing through my body. These feelings lasted for about 30 minutes and my vision and feeling in my fingers and hand came back as the dizziness subsided and my body temp returned to normal. Around 40 minutes after the vaccine I started experiencing echoing in my left ear (the side I got the vaccine on) and soreness around the vaccination site. The echoing in my left ear lasted about 30 minutes and then subsided. The arm pain spread to the rest of my arm and I began to get a headache. About 4 hours after the vaccine I began to experience intense back, hip, foot and hand pain making me unable to do any regular activities. The back pain feels like intensely sharp pain in my spine and hurts to the gentle touch. I previously had no back pain prior to the vaccine. The muscles surrounding my spine up to my shoulders were also painful/sore. This pain subsided after 6 days. On about the 4th day after the vaccine I began experiencing underarm and breast pain on the side I got the vaccine. It is now exactly 1 week since my vaccination and I am still experiencing the underarm and breast pain. I have experienced lethargy since vaccination.

First dose of Moderna (02/05/2021) - very sore arm, tiredness. Within a week of injection, at the injection site, developed "COVID arm" and delayed cutaneous reaction that lasted approximately 10 days. Second dose of Moderna (03/05/2021) - less sore arm, low-grade fever, body aches for 24 h. No injection site erythema. On 03/09/2021, the rash began to appear in both armpits and rapidly spread over the course of 48 h. Rash worsened. Approximately 5 in wide and 12 in long. Nothing in day-to-day has changed, (e.g., no new deodorant, lotions, etc.) and the rash is not present in any other typical places (e.g., under breast tissue, groin, etc). Swollen, red, and itchy. Seems to respond to antihistamines, but is not subsiding.

Had generally expected SE-- fatigue, arm soreness, redness at the injection site, but then developed slightly itchy rash with pinpoint erythematous papules on arms, wrist, knees in addition to rash on upper arm

Covid arm. Delayed itch at site of injection. Also sore at this location (was completely normal became sore at day 6 after shot)

Late-onset localized reaction at the site of the injection characterized by redness, increased warmth, and swelling. Reaction area is ovular in shape and was initially approximately 3 inches in length and 1.5 inches in diameter, but increased in size slightly over the course of 12 hours. As of 04:45AM on March 12, 2021, localized reaction has decreased in redness and swelling, but is not yet fully resolved. Area of the local reaction is equal in size to previous day. Patient (self) has taken Zyrtec and Allegra over-the-counter medications for allergies daily, with no effect on the localized reaction. Patient has not taken any anti-inflammatory medications or medications other than those described above prior to or following onset of the localized reaction. No other symptoms have been observed at this time.

about 1 day after receiving the first shot, I had soreness at the injection site as well as a rash. The soreness disappeared after approximately 2 days, but the rash remained for about 5 days.

Patient became nauseous & itching within a few minutes of vaccination. Gave patient diphenhydramine and monitored her. Took off the bandage because she had an adhesive allergy issue. Her arm quit itching after a few minutes. Nausea became a little better.

1) Localized circular rash below injection site; started day after vaccination and disappeared after 1 day 2) Itchy and burning raised skin rashes (hundreds of small dots) - started on both arms and spread to hands, neck, face, and ears. Rashes started 5 days after vaccination and have lasted now for 10 days (has not yet resolved).

Rash on left arm a bit to the right of injection spot. Looks like red swelling similar to allergic reaction.

Around 5 days after shot, rash appeared and was very warm to the touch and very itchy, rash looked like a target

Immediately after dose 2 of the Moderna vaccine I felt fatigued and slightly congested. At approximately 3 am (14 hours after vaccination due to daylight savings), I woke up with severe body aches, headache, skin tenderness, and chills indicating a fever. The following morning, these symptoms were joined by lack of appetite, weakness, and nausea upon attempting to eat. Symptoms lasted at full intensity for approximately 24 hours. At some point in the early hours of 3/15, my fever started to break and left me sweating on and off all night. By the morning of 3/15, symptoms were still present, but had greatly lessened in intensity. After approximately 36 hours, (3/15 at 3 pm) symptoms had mostly ended, though I still had a headache and felt weak. Today (3/16), feelings of weakness persist and I feel very 'foggy'; slow to think and slow in movement. I did not take any NSAIDs or medicines of any kind to deal with symptoms, as I feared it would lessen the efficacy of the vaccine.

Possible seizure, pt shaking, shortness of breath, bluish skin, kept saying "couldn't breathe." Epi-pen autoinjector administered afterwords patient was laid down and raised legs and blood pressure taken which was 118/68, pulse 68. Emergency 911 was called and arrived on scene in 2-3minutes. Paramedics took vitals and deemed it to be a syncopal episode, instructed patient to go to hospital for further monitoring. Husband to drive pt to hospital.

Large pinkish-purple welt on upper right arm that is firm to touch, sore, itchy, warm, slightly raised, and over 2 days grew in diameter. Can send pictures if needed. Other symptoms: severe migraine, sinus pressure, stuffy nose, sore throat physician said looked red, cough that was neither dry or wet, and severe fatigue From my perspective, the symptoms to me were very similar to an allergic reaction I would get from a high dose allergy shot my body didn't handle well. That being said, I have not had an allergy shot after the moderna dose Doctors initially prescribed Sudafed and flonase to treat symptoms, and recommended I continue my allergy medications as prescribed and use hydrocortisone cream to relieve discomfort in the area. After the welt became noticeably bigger the next day (today; 3/17), an antibiotic was prescribed: cephalexin 500 mg to be taken 4 times a day for 7 days

Soreness in injection site that evening led to increased fever Saturday morning. Saturday night into Sunday morning, fatigue and all-over body aches were present. Sunday night there were violent shakes and chills, lasting up to 30 minutes that resulted in nausea and vomiting on multiple occasions throughout the night. I had taken Tylenol and ibuprofen to help alleviate the pain and stay on top of fever symptoms. Continued fatigue and nausea (upset stomach) rolled into Monday morning, and fever maintained at 102-103 even when taken ibuprofen and Tylenol on a routine schedule. On Friday, 3/12/2021, patient called the local doctor's office to get checked out and receive additional tests in case there were other concerns for additional sickness or illness. Fever continued until 3/14/2021, when the fatigue subsided; upset stomach was still prevalent until 3/16/2021. Headache occurred throughout the 9 days after the second dose was administered.

1 week following the first Moderna injection, the injection site became itchy, red, and swollen. It was tender and painful to the touch. The reaction lasted about 1-2 full days and was fully cleared up by 1/21. I contacted my doctor via telephone on the morning of 1/19 and was relayed a message that the side effects were normal and I shouldn't be concerned. I asked to speak directly to my doctor, which I finally did on 1/21, and by that time the reaction has cleared up.

She described her symptoms as: "face became red and puffy, lips blistered, blisters around nostrils, hard to swallow, and throat closing." She went to the ER around 7 pm where she was given Benadryl and prednisone. She came into work today with no symptoms. She was advised by the ER doctor to not get the second Moderna dose, but to follow up with her PCP for further guidance. Her appointment with the PCP is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Painful arm at injection site day after. Tired next day. Arm was red, hot and swollen. Itchiness started 5 days after.

Developed a large, itchy rash on my left arm on the 17th. It covers the majority of my bicep and is hot to the touch. It is painful to the touch and hot. It has continued until the 18th. Additionally, I started menstruating suddenly on the 18th of March.

Developed hives covering chest and neck 4 days following vaccine. Hives have surfaced on and off since 03/16/21. Eyelids become swollen and itchy intermittently. Hives are warm and itchy. No other adverse symptoms observed.

1/25/21 - numbness and tingling, feeling of nerve tension began in right arm and hand with no clear peripheral nerve pattern; next day in both arms with twitching of R middle finger; third day afternoon began in R foot and spread up into calf as well as L foot; went to the ER on 1/27/21; clear ECG, chest XR, brain and cervical CT, and bloodwork; referred to neurologist with concerns of MS or transverse myelitis; saw neurologist on 2/3/21 - he found mildly hyperactive reflexes and a (+) hoffman's reflex; ordered MRI of brain and cervical spine with and without contrast and more bloodwork; MRIs performed apx 1 1/2 weeks later and bloodwork done same day (2/3); bloodwork revealed elevated C-reactive protein of ~14 and ESR of 14 (higher than previous baseline of <2) but all else clear; MRIs came back clear 2/8/21 - 9 days after second dose woke up with throbbing headache, body aches, and overall feeling of being ill; on the third day of this went to go get tested for COVID and flu to be safe; both rapid and PCR came back negative; sx resolved by the weekend; 2/15/21 - began getting frequent headaches, inability to take a deep breath and sharp retrosternal chest pain up into the back of my throat when I would try; difficulty breathing with a mask on; significantly elevated heart rate; SOB at work esp with mask on; symptoms worse with mask and then eased on weekends without mask; then became able to take deep breath but with chest pain then began to need to cough with a deep breath then more frequent coughing esp after long days of mask wearing; several occasions of waking up at night unable to breath esp when lying on either side with racing heart; symptoms vary in intensity but on days when they would act up, heart rate is consistently elevated (normal resting heart rate ~55, would be up at 90 while lying down, 120 while standing making coffee) 3/9/21 - went to ER in the evening due to symptom increase of chest pain, SOB, and elevated heart rate; ER ran bloodwork and found elevated D-dimer of 0.6, WBC of 27,000, high neutrophils, and low lymphocytes; CT angiogram to r/o PE came back negative; (-) chest XR other than minor atelectasis; abnormal ECG with incomplete RBBB and prolonged QT interval; tachycardia; admitted to hospital; blood cultures, urine cultures, and respiratory pathogen panel including COVID test negative; started on albuterol breathing treatments and 40 mg of steroids 2x/day which normalized WBC count and eased sx significantly; consult with pulmonology and cardiology; 2nd chest x-ray (-) and transthoracic ECHO (-); started on beta blockers 12.5 mg 2x/day which helped heart rate some; second ECG found no RBBB and normal QT interval but unable to rule out anterior MI or inferior ischemia. D/c on steroid dose pack, beta blockers, cough suppressant. Follow up with cardio and pulm. Now seeing immunologist as well who started me on corticosteroid inhaler, monteleukast. Running more blood work soon. PCP gave albuterol inhaler, did round of antibiotics, orders to use incentive spirometer for breathing capacity. Waiting on pulmonology follow up and 30 day holter monitor, stress ecg, and other cardiac tests.

Treated with 25 mg po benadryl with resolution of itching and near dissipation of rash within 30 minutes. Light-headedness responded to oral water.

24 ours after, I developed a red bullseye- softball size - on right arm. Fever and back pain as well. And headache. The bullseye - lasted about 7-10 days. About three days into I went to the Urgent Care - they gave me a cream to put on it and Benadryl. The red bump was warm to the touch and it was painful. received her first dose on 03/12/2021 at 10:30 AM. Later that day, she only mentioned slight soreness at injection site. In the early morning hours on 03/13/2021 she became anxious and having very irrational and disjointed thinking. She got into the pool (unheated) by herself, unbeknownst to any other family members in her athletic clothes she was in and was then found across the street at a neighbors house (she did not know them), standing on their doorstep in wet clothes at 5:45 AM on 03/13/2021. Her confusion, irrational thought, anxiety and paranoia has increased to the point of having audio/visual hallucinations and sleep disturbances. Prior to the vaccination, she did not exhibit any of these behaviors or symptoms.

Firm, swollen, tender, itchy around the injection site. Did not begin having this system until one week after the injection. It seems it is ?COVID arm.? Other than that, I have had no symptoms besides a sore arm the day after the injection.

She received her 1st Moderna during a COVID-19 vaccine on 3/4/2021. About 24 hours later she noticed a splotchy rash on her back. 48 hours after her shot she noticed that the rash had spread to her chest, stomach and arms and that it became itchy. She states that was very similar to a ?heat rash?. She reports that the lesions were fixed and did not move around. She saw her primary care provider who gave her a short course of prednisone and recommended daily Zyrtec and Benadryl at bedtime which she took until Monday and then stopped. She still has a mild rash though it has greatly improved from the initial. She denies a history of vaccine reactions, contrast allergy and other medication allergies. She denies ever having fever, body aches, chills, malaise, nasal congestion, throat swelling, lightheadedness, nausea or vomiting.

I had pain at the injection site which started after injection and increased in intensity from tenderness to pain around 5pm the day I received the vaccine (3/24). The pain has not yet resolved. I developed a fever of 101.2 degrees in the middle of the night, I estimate around 2am on 3/25. At this time I also developed chills and muscle aches. I experienced high levels of fatigue all of 3/25. These symptoms have resolved as of 8am 3/26.

My arm has been feeling sore the past two days, only at the injection site, but today oí noticed a red circle around it when it suddenly felt itchy. I can feel heat radiating from the area, making it uncomfortable but not painful.

Delayed skin sensitivity reaction that appeared on Day 8 after the first dose was given. Large red, swollen spot at injection site that was itchy, warm, and raised (almost hive like). Matches what others were calling Covid arm. Gradually disappeared over the next 7-8 days. Itchiness, swelling, and warmth went away after 24/48 hours. Redness went down a lot in the first 48 hours as well.

Local reaction on left arm approximately 8 days after 1st dose. Presented as a large, raised, red blotch that got bigger over 4 days and then disappeared.

One week after the 1st Moderna shot, I noticed a small red mark on my upper left arm where I got the shot, about the size of my pinky. The next day, it had grown. It continued to get larger and while the edges were fairly distinct at the beginning, as it grew, the edges got more and more faded. It was warm to the touch and a little bit itchy at times. I took antihistamines for a few days and also used a benadryl gel topically on my arm. After about 5-6 days, it had faded completely. It did not hurt, and I felt fine the whole time, just had a hive. At its largest, it covered most of my outside upper arm.

About a week after the area at the injection site developed a rash and became swollen, red, and itchy. It has persisted for over a day, but the itching has subsided. It it still warm, red and swollen. I had mild pain under my left armpit as well, similar to muscle tenderness, but it is to painful to the touch, just when I lift my arm or move it in certain ways.

It was a 5.6 inch red ring around my injection site. I exp itching went to doctor prescribed Prednisone.

The first day I did not have any symptoms. Day 2 I had a fever, muscles aches, severe fatigue, and chills. Day 3 no symptoms. Day 4 my arm is red, swollen, itchy, and painful at injection site. All symptoms have ceased except for the rash around the injection site which just developed day 4.

My sister noticed I had red dots/marks all over my face and the back of my ears. Called clinic to speak to an advice nurse told to take some Benadryl and waited until I heard back from my primary doctor. One week after vaccine, the spot where my vaccine was administered swelled up, along with the lymph nodes under my right and left arm (my right underarm was more swollen). I felt very fatigued. The swelling went down after 5 days, but I still have a dark mark on my arm where the swelling was. A day after my shot, I felt very dehydrated and and fatigued (which I know is normal).

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA On 3/28, I started having occasional, brief, shooting pains up my left arm. It occurred once the first day, three times the next day, and ten or more times each day since. On 3/30, my injection site became mildly itchy, and I noticed that it was warm to the touch. The itching only lasted a few minutes. On 3/31 a splotchy rash appeared around the injection site, appx 5 inches in diameter. It is now hot to the touch, and occasionally itchy. As of 4/1 the rash is still present.

I had my 2nd Moderna shot on 3/29 around 12:50pm. I felt fine until 8:30pm ish that night. Here's the timeline: 8:30pm- Temperature reached to 99.8F 11pm- Temperature stayed around 101F. Headache. I had really bad chills but my head and face were very warm. 12:30am- I put on my T-shirt and Leggings but still felt very cold. (Restless. Stayed awake all night) 3:00am- My body was really hot like an oven so I took off the T-shirt and leggings. My temperature reached to 104F. Worst headache ever. I had a real feeling that my body broken into piceses. 8am- I got up. I had chills again. Temperature lowered to 101F. Still had headache. Left hand felt dumb. 8pm- Took a nap. Temperature lowered to 98.8F. Headache, Chills all gone.

Raised red ring, about 4 inches in diameter, around the injection site. Noticed the rash 11 days after the first injection. Cleared up within 24 hours. Not itchy or painful. Also experienced soreness in the injection arm beginning the day of the injection and clearing up within 3 days.

Large rash at injection site that is hot to touch, itchy, and raised. It is also somewhat hard. It causes pain when I lift my arm straight up (flexing my right deltoid).

A few days after the vaccine I noticed an red, firm, raised itchy rash had developed along the joint area and in the palmar portion of my hand. I was prescribed an topical steroid cream but only applied it once and the rash went away a week later.

Day after vaccine: fatigue, aches, headache, and mild chills. These symptoms cleared up by the next day (3/10). Had bruising at injection site that disappeared after a few days. 7 days post-vaccine (3/15) I noticed that I had developed a raised, red, inflamed blotch of skin around the injection site. The patient's past medical history included migraine and gastritis. Concomitant medication included migraine medication: imitrex, sumatriptan and meclavine. On 24-DEC-2020, prior to the onset of the events, the patient received a dose mRNA-1273 (lot/batch or dose number not reported) intramuscularly on the right arm for prophylaxis of COVID-19 infection. On 24-DEC-2020, the patient experienced shoulder pain at injection site, chills and fever that evening. On 25-DEC-2020, the right arm was still hurting. On 26-DEC-2020, she had dizziness, a dull headache felt cross eyed and felt that she couldn't function properly. The headache increased intensity making her to go to the hospital on 01-JAN-2021. She felt like she was going to pass out. Information about whether or not she was admitted was not provided. Laboratory reports were not provided. Treatment information included taking her migraine medications and going to the hospital. Action taken with mRNA-1273 in response to the events was not reported. The outcome of the events was unknown.; Sender's Comments: Based on the current available information and temporal association between the use of the product and the start date of the events, a causal relationship cannot be excluded.

Severe headache, muscle and neck aches, fatigue, injection site pain. Injection site pain started that evening. The headache, aches and fatigue started Saturday and I was unable to get up out of bed. My head hurt whenever I lifted my head or tried to perform any mild activity around the house. I did not take anything for the pain as I don't really use any medications if I don't absolutely need to. The headache went away by Sunday morning, but the neck pain and injection site pain are still occurring (but less) by Monday morning.

Developed a small itchy rash at the site of the injection. No other symptom. Never experienced this with flu shot or anything.

She also mentioned that she gets hives from seasonal allergies and that on Thursday 4/1 (2 days before the vaccine) she also had hives due to seasonal allergies.

0.5mL dose of Moderna COVID 19 Vaccine EUA was received in the left arm on March 30th. No notable side effects were experienced immediately. However, eight days later on April 8th, redness developed at the injection site and tenderness and soreness was noticed in left armpit and left breast (likely swollen lymph nodes).

Pt reports having redness to both arms after vaccine with no previous history of same. Pt had never noticed any reddening to either arm. Pt also reported tiny re pinpoint dots to both arms. No signs of urticaria, no respiratory Difficulty or other associated s/s.

I had what is called "COVID Arm". After the first initial lump/large red area (about 2.5 inches diameter) a second smaller lump appeared to the bottom left of the first. The appearance of both disappeared within less than a week, however both left a blue discoloration where they were, and that went away 4.7.21

The patient developed an allergic reaction to her first Moderna injection she received from the clinic on 03/27/21. Cough, chills, body aches, chest tightness at 10:15pm. Same as above plus increased chest tightness, nausea, and stomach pain at 2am. Sweating, body aches, dizzy, brain fog, fatigue, weakness, stomach pain at 8:30am. Black out / fainting at 2:15pm. Nausea and subsequent vomiting at 2:30pm. Continued body pain, chills, and fatigue for the next 24 hours. All symptoms ended abruptly at 2-3pm next day (48 hours post-injection).

First 24 hours were ok - some fatigue and sore arm. Around 5 pm on 4/3/21 started intense body aches, chills, fever (101 F), nausea, vomiting. Afternoon of 4/4/21 continued with low grade fever (98-99 F) and mild. 6 am on 4/5/21 had allergic reaction on the left cheek. Hot red, swollen, itchy, and hives. Left ear swollen as well. Not hives or reaction anywhere else on the body. Began Benadryl, Zyrtec, and Methylprednisolone steroid pack with doctor's guidance. Swelling resolved by day 5 (4/9). On 4/8 woke up hot, tingly, hot feeling in ears and back of throat. Some numbness in limbs later. Attributing this to a panic attack.

I had a red, itchy rash show up exactly 1 week after getting my shot. After reading up on it, it seems consistent with what has been deemed ?covid arm.? It was mostly just swollen itchy and red, not painful. Got bigger for a few days and then went away.

At around 10 pm 7 days after receiving my first dose, I noticed a lump in my left upper arm near but not exactly at the point of injection. PT RECEIVED HER FIRST DOSE OF COVID VACCINE (MODERNA) ON 4-1-21. SHE DEVELOPED REDNESS AT THE INJECTION SITE. IT HAS CONTINUED TO GET WORSE. SHE VISITED A DOCTOR WHO INFORMED HER IT WAS AN INFECTION AND PRESCRIBED AN ANTIBIOTIC FOR HER. THE DOCTOR WANTED HER TO RETURN TO THE PHARMACY TO SHOW US THE RASH/REDNESS. SHE RETURNED TO THE PHARMACY ON 4-12-21

Day 1: brain fog + swollen arm + patching rash Day 2: sore arm + migraine Day 3: sore arm + migraine Day 4: slightly less sore of a arm + now other Joints getting jolts of pain + burning feeling back of head Day 5 :bad reaction to when drink 1 beverage of alcohol Day 6: feels like a cluster head ach at bottoms of head Day 7: brain fog + achy body + body feels itchy Day 8: drank another alcoholic beverage and felt like I was going to pass out when walking Day 9: swelling around injection site+ red ring around it +itchy Day 10 intense joint pain hip, knees, ankles + ringing in ears Day 11 lamp on back of head + pain at back of head when moving, The lump is not visible and is on the left back side Day 12: head pain and lump still presents + stiff joints

Full body hives and very swollen top lip. The hives arrived in small sections of the body and expanded to the whole body within 2 hours. Benedryl was taken and the hives cleared up by the next morning. Lip was still swollen the next morning for approximately 4 hours.

Fell out of chair and found lying on left side of body. Positive LOC for 10 seconds. Responded thereafter. Remembers sitting in chair but not falling. Last meal with last night History of fasting for 17 hours at a time. A+Ox3 upon awaking Very small hematoma and contusion to forehead/top of head, minimal bleeding. Hands too cold for obtaining O2 sat BP 90/palp Paramedics obtained BP of 98/71 and pulse of 58 and a blood sugar of 75. After sitting up for about fifteen minutes and drinking water and eating a chocolate chip cookie, patient ambulated to building from outside observation area. Post VS 115/69 66 20 98% O2 sat on RA. Discharged home with mother in law and sister. MAEW, NAD , STEADY GAIT A+OX3

I contracted had nausea and a fever the 24 hours after my vaccine and then developed shingles (which i have never had) 72 hours later

Patient developed a raised red circle and warm to touch immediately after receiving vaccine and 3 days later still continues to have a red raise circle on arm and itchiness.

Patient states that she received her first dose of Moderna covid-19 vaccine on 04/01/2021. She reports feeling itchiness of left arm one day ago in which that is where she received the vaccine at. She reports seeing redness around the injection spot. Use of ice compress. No fever or other symptoms other than the appearance and size of the localized redness. She reports she has hypersensitive

Started to get small rashes and bumps on several parts of my body on Saturday 4/10. After 24 hours the rashes became smaller bruises

Symptoms. Redness, swelling. Muscle pain, fever, tiredness. Symptoms occurred within 3 days after vaccination.

Later in the same day as the injection I noticed the normal soreness/tenderness in my injection arm which lasted about 3 days. The 4th day after my injection I noticed a large lump and redness at the injection sight. 7 days after my injection I noticed the lump had gone away but I now had a large red blotchy ring at the injection sight. I still have this blotchy red ring on my arm 10 days after my first injection.

Injection site soreness immediately following the injection and a headache soon after. By 8pm I began experiencing some brain fog and soreness increased significantly.

COVID arm - rash on my left arm. Started out as a splotchy, small rash on the same day of the injection. The day after injection, the rash was no longer splotchy and was a complete circular/blob. It was still fairly small. It is 4/15 and the rash is quite large (larger then my hand, almost wrapping around completely above the elbow part of my arm). The rash is hot to the touch but not too itchy.

I woke up on the morning of April 14, 2021, eight days after my first dose of the Moderna vaccine, with a small red, swollen rash on my left arm around the injection site. Over the course of the last 26 hours it's gotten larger and redder. It's hot to the touch, itchy, and my arm aches. I believe it's delayed cutaneous hypersensitivity (covid arm). Prior to this event I had not experienced any vaccine side effects since April 8, 2021 (the general sore, stiff arm everyone gets).

I received the first dose of the Moderna vaccine at 10am and when I got home from work a little after 5, I realized I had little bumps all over my feet. This rash quickly spread and covered my entire body, the soles of my feet and hands were not affected. I was advised to take Benadryl and I did that for 2 weeks and it did not help. After two weeks, I took a 6 day course of prednisone and it did not have any effect. After 4 weeks I finally was able to see a dermatologist who advised that it was a massive psoriasis flare up. I just started a topical steroid treatment yesterday. I have only ever had mild psoriasis in the past, just some spots on my elbow.

While at pharmacy my lips started feeling tingly and itchy, thought it was just from mask. After 15 minutes I was told I was fine to leave, so I left and headed home. Almost halfway home my throat began to feel swollen and tighter, like a rock was in it. My lips and face continued to itch and tingle. My face also was bright red. I have experienced anaphylaxis before, and was on Bactrim for days before I had the reaction. I waited it out to see if I needed to go to the hospital, but felt I was okay. The next couple days however I still felt like there was a rock in my throat and it was still a little tight, but no longer itchy or feeling hard to swallow so I didn't take myself in.

Severe chills, fever, migraine, joint pain all over, excruciating lower back pain, extreme fatigue, injection site bruising, swollen lymph nodes,

Red circle on arm, size of half dollar. It itches and is slightly sore to touch. Not sure if related: but muscle under that same armpit close to vaccine site is also very sore.

Developed overall feeling of ?abnormality? and slight disorientation within first 15 minutes following injection. This feeling lasted about 2 hours and went away. As the initial shock to my body wore off, the soreness of my injection arm intensified. I was unable to put pressure on that arm by sleeping on that side or even touching the arm for a short time. This arm soreness lasted another 12-18 hours before disappearing completely. No medications or other treatments were administered to alleviate the soreness.

The pain at the injection site spread to my entire bicep. The pain prevents me from raising my arm due to the pain but i was able to raise my arm to shoulder height. Originally if I did not move my arm I had minimal to no pain but with movement, it was 7-8/10. I took 1000mg Tylenol at the start of the pain. while sleeping I could not lay on the arm and could not have it in certain positions without having pain. The next day (4/15/21) I began having pain even while resting but it was only 2-3/10 and with movement became 8-9/10. I could only move my arm up around 30 degrees before it would stop moving and the pain became severe. I took 1500mg of Tylenol with minimal relief. Additionally, I took a hot shower which helped in the shower but the pain returned. That night I could not find any position that did not hurt my arm and my sleep was impacted due to the pain. Today even with no movement, I am experiencing the pain of 6/10 and with movement 9-10/10. I have less range of motion than I did previosuly. I took an Epsom salt bath which helped the pain but then returned when I got out. i can now barely move my arm without it stopping. I have taken 1000mg of Tylenol with no relief.

Shot site is becoming swollen on day 8. It is itchy and hot to the touch. Did not have any symptoms prior when I first got the shot.

Patient complained of all over itching and red blotchy spots present. Patient had verbalized similar allergic reaction to prior medications. Patient did not take benedryl before vaccine visit but has taken it in the past for prior reactions.

Patient stated she broke out with rash/hives on neck, chest and both arms the day of her 1st vaccine given on March 15, 2021. Patient was seen by the doctor three times after first vaccine was administered. Patient was given medication for the rash/hives but meds were not working. Patient received a second dose on 4/6/21 and the same thing occurred with a rash/hives on both arms, neck and chest. Patient stated she never had a rash/hives before she received the vaccine. Per patient stated she also felt hot like a fever and her lips were "fever chapped". as of today 4/16/21 the patient still has slight spots of rash/hives on right lower arm and neck area.

Swelling around injection site with itchy rash with ring around injection site 5 days after injection.

Experienced fever of 99-100, tiredness, soreness beginning about 4 hours after vaccine and lasting about 36 hours 7 days after vaccine, my left arm became tender/swollen again and there is a red, slightly itchy rash about the size of a donut around the vaccination site. It grew in size and it still present 24 hours after I first noticed it

hot feeling in right arm and feeling dizzy. patient was anxious about getting shot before hand, she was given benadryl and a cool pack and rested for 30 minutes, stated all sx subsided

I had shingles 13 years ago and now within 30 minutes of the shot I have an immediate report up of a shingles along the same area I had it the first time.

7 days after the injection, the site of injection began to swell, redden, and itch. It feels like a sting, in terms of the stiffness and soreness due to the swelling. The area around the injection has swollen approx 2 inches vertically and 3 inches horizontally. At 8 days post, the swelling appears to be at its peak, the reddening has gotten worse than yesterday, almost like a bruise. I am able to use my arm like normal, just feels sore and like it's twice as wide as normal (even though the raised welt is less than an inch) and I'm massaging the area to help break up the swelling. It hasn't gone away yet, so I am watching it still, just in case.

Reddened and raised welt at injection site. Growing larger daily. First noticed at the size of a quarter. Not responding to allergy medicine. Itchy, burning.

Soreness/sensitive near the area I was given vaccine (after 8 days, still feels a bit sore and ?strange?). Muscle stiffness (felt when stretching). Headaches. Very itchy around the area on my arm where I was given vaccine.

Chest pain, throat tightening, pain with deep breath, dizziness, chills, fever, arm rash under injection site, muscle pains throughout back/legs/neck, lightheadedness, fatigue, nausea, difficulty holding head up. Several Sx lasted up to five days.

Bright red itchy spot approx 3 inches around site of injection. The site has been warm and the muscle was hard/there was a lump under the redness with hives. Treatment was done based on research found about a case study in which the patients had "COVID Arm". The study had patients an corticosteroid cream and an antihistamine such as Benadryl. Patient already had a corticosteroid cream Fluocinonide (LIDEX) 0.05% ointment that could be applied x2 daily to affected area not including the face. Patient started using the cream twice daily (morning and night) along with a daily Benadryl to help with the inflammation on 4/11 . Redness has reduced, but it is still itchy and somewhat warm. Patient stopped the Benadryl 4/17 but is continuing the steroid cream.

Examined first on 4/19/21 Localized reaction: erythema 6cm, inflammation-warm to touch, tender to right deltoid since 4/10/21 Right lateral cervical chain : 2 enlarged lymph nodes: distal node 1cm, then 1" proximal to that node 0.5cm- since 4/10/21. very tender to touch with mild restriction of neck range of motion

After first injection pain, rash at injection site, swelling, fatigue, and chills. The rash showed up the day after the injection and lasted for 3 days. Then it reappeared the following Sunday and lasted one week. The pain happened immediately after injection and lasted 4 days. After second shot pain, fever, swelling, rash at injection site, headache, dizziness, feeling faint, body aches, chills, pain all over skin. The fever, body aches, chills, pain all over skin appeared the day after injection and lasted the whole day then resolved. The rash showed up the morning after injection as well as the swelling. 3 days after injection I still have a rash, I have a headache, I have started to feel faint, my arm is still swollen, and it is itching and tingling.

PATIENT REPORTED ABOUT 45 MIN AFTER VACCINE HER FACE TURNED BRIGHT RED, FELT HOT, AND FELT TIGHT. SHE ALSO HAD TROUBLE EATING DINNER BECAUSE SHE FELT LIKE SHE HAD TROUBLE SWALLOWING

1620- Patient began vomiting , sweating, and was warm to touch. Patient denied shortness of breath, tightness in the chest or throat, itching, dizziness, or changes in heart rate. Patient stated, " That she did not eat much today only rice". Pt was given a bottle of water, and crackers, and recieved a mint and was advised to sip the water and eat the crackers slowly. 16:24-Patient ate the crackers, and sipped the water and explained that she was feeling better and is cooling down and the nausea was improving. She was advised to wait additional 15 minutes for monitoring. 16:34-vitals-BP 106/55, HR-76, O2-97, Temp 99.8. Patient was released from observation at 16:35.

No immediate side effects until I went to bed. Woke up with incredibly cold extremities (arms, legs were freezing) the chills went away around noon and we're replaced with a high fever (I don't have a thermometer) but I broke out into a sweat and muscle aches. I took tylenol and a cold shower. The fever seemed to go away within 2 hours. Then when things seemed normal I had what felt like cramps in my chest. I soaked in hot bath and put vapor rub on my chest. Woke up today my shoulder/injection site is red and bruised and still muscle aches but the fever seems to be gone.

Caller states she received her first dose of the vaccine 8 days ago and two days ago she developed a swollen lymph node and a "hive like" itchy red area at the injection site. Caller denies that its spreading but states it is warm to touch. Advised caller to contact her PCP so he/she can evaluate and to draw a ring around the borders to assess if it is spreading.

Headache starting about 12 hours after dose; extreme pain at injection site, feverish, sweats, chills, achy muscles and joints, fatigue/nausea all day today

IM shot given at 2:52. Took 4-5 alcohol prep pads to stop continuous blood dribbling. Within 30 seconds, patient showed a slight bump at site of injection. Just as the bleeding concluded and I was about to apply bandaid, patient blacked out, eyes began to flutter, body straighten and began to slouch in chair as I held her up, and fingers fluttered a bit as well. Patient came about with 30 seconds, moderate hyperventilating, and with clammy sweat, unaware of where abouts. Monitored patient for 30 minutes, but she did go home after re-attempting to work once again (got a ride from family).

Red, hot, itchy lump at injection site starting over a week following vaccine. Also known as "Covid Arm"

Patient experienced shortness of breath, hives, and throat closing after receiving the second dose of COVID vaccine. Patient received 0.3 IM epinephrine and IV Benadryl. Patient was brought to ED and subsequently received, IV dexamethasone 10mg and famotidine 20mg IV.

Shingles on leg in addition to skin rash at spot of injection. Skin rash happened a week after first vaccine and then happened again the day after the second vaccine.

I am pregnant I am 32 weeks and 6 days and I have experienced, nausea, dizziness, headache and all over the body, redness and swelling in the area where the vaccine was given

Days 1-2 after the vaccine, standard symptoms occurred like groggines, cloudiness, body aches, mild fever, soreness at injection site. These symptoms were very mild or gone after day 2, but on day 3, I developed a painful reddish bump the size of a pea in my armpit opposite the arm where the injection was. Injection was in left arm, painful bump was in right armpit. It hurts (7-8/10 pain) to lift my arm or really move my arm and still hurts somewhat when my arm is just resting. Day 4 after the vaccine, I had a second very small red bump and noticed some other puffiness in a different spot in my armpit. This did not have color variation from my skin. It has hurt enough that I am not able to apply deoderant or really use my arm for daily tasks. I am currently in Day 5 after my vaccine has stayed pretty consistent with Day 4. No new bumps, but similar pain and swelling. Pain seems to reduce minimally when taking ibuprofen. I also had a headache on Day 5.

Throbbing pain upon injection, within 10 minutes had increased heart rate, clammy skin, rash at injection site, within 20 minutes had nasal drainage, irritated throat, coughing, feeling faint and dizzy, heart rate kept increasing although was sedentary, started to have trouble breathing. Took Benadryl and loratadine, observed symptoms to see if epinephrine was needed.

Swelling of injection site with both vaccinations, red, hot, painful burning, blister like formations, Charlie horses/ cramping in arm, headache, fever

Hives on face, neck, chest, and around injection sight. Slight swelling and itching of eyes and tongue. Whole body itching.

Within 24 hours of receiving the second does of Moderna I immediately started experiencing adverse reaction. I work as a PA and had to go home early the day after receiving the second does with flu like symptoms; chills, aches and pains. Later in the day I immediately started experiencing blood in my urination and ulcers within my vagina. I do not have any form of an STD. I went to Urology and discovered six kidney stones. I am in tremendous health and exercise daily. I have never had issues with my kidneys. Lastly, I had a rash on my arm with first and second dose.

Patient received second dose of moderna vaccine at 3:31pm on 4/22/2021, during observation patient reported to feel "dizzy" and reported heavy breathing. Felt like she would lose consciousness/fall over. While discussing her symptoms, she began to feel pain in the center of her chest and continued with feeling of being faint and difficulty breathing. Patient appeared flushed and was warm to touch which later resolved. Ambulance was called and patient decided to leave by ambulance at 4:21pm after it arrived at 4:16pm. Her husband was onsite and was notified by herself. No further incident.

Morning of April 16th, had a massive nosebleed (first one I?ve experienced in my life, no previous nosebleeds). It lasted about an hour. Petechiae covered my body. Went in to see my doctor for a previously scheduled routine checkup. While there, mentioned the nosebleed and ?spots?. He took some blood work and found out that my platelet count was only 1,, when it?s supposed to be 400. He admitted me into the hospital where I stayed until 04/19/2021 after receiving platelets, immunoglobulins, and prednisone.

Raised, red, blotchy rash around injection site from shoulder to elbow. Mild to moderate pain that resolves temporarily with ice. Has worsened since onset (currently 48h post-Injection).

Patient stated she had a red itchy rash on the arm she received her injection. Rash began 5-7 days after injection on left arm. Rash was the size of tennis ball and disappeared 3-4 days later. Patient did not take or use any medication to treat the rash.

I was dizzy leaving the hospital (4/21/2021), I woke up the next day (4/22/2021) with a rash all over my neck and it?s still itchy, red and hot (4/23/2021) I have a persistent headache and fluctuate between feeling hot and cold, Nausea on and off

Large red rash at the injection site exactly one week after getting the vaccine. Slightly itchy but not painful.

4/21 - Pain in left arm 4/22 - Headache and chills all day, pain in left arm 4/23 - no head ache, no chills, no pain in left arm, but I woke up with small red bumps on legs and arms. This spread to my mid section and back. The bumps turned into welts, got itchier and more painful until I started taking benadryl. 4/24 - rash is starting to clear up while on benadryl

Small patch of red skin at vaccination site. Not raised, not itchy, not burning. The irritation has a diameter of 2 inches by 2 inches around the vaccine site.

about 10 hours after receiving the vaccine experienced extreme malasia, including sensitive skin, migrane, night sweats for 2 nights. Also have redness/ swelling/ itching on injection site that appeared after about 36 hours, 4 inches in diameter

second day of taking the COVID -19 Moderna vaccine, my lips started getting dry, itchy to the point where my lips start cracking, these symptoms have lasted for 5 days, last night my face, eyelids, neck, and upper torso started itchy, i couldnt fall asleep because i kept scratching these parts of my boday (4/24/2020 ) this morning ( 4/25/2021) these symptoms have improved a little bit

It has been exactly one week since my first shot, and I am developing a very itchy rash and swelling at my injection site.

PT BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE A BLISTERS THE NEXT DAY. BLISTERS/RASH ON ABDOMEN, LEGS AND OTHER PLACES ON BODY. PT THINKS THE BLISTERS ARE SHINGLES BROUGHT ON BY THE COVID VACCINE

"COVID Arm"; heat and minor raised skin rash, approximately 1.5" in diameter. Noticed 8 days after first dose.

Right eye lid became significantly swollen and heavy. I felt as though I could not control my eye when looking in different directions. Mouth became swollen and heavy. Had lots of small hives. Went to urgent care and doctor then gave a steroid shot. Next morning I had giant hives that were harder, larger, and more painful than before, and mouth was again swollen. Called doctor who sent in an oral steroid prescription, allergy medication, and topical. Steroid pack was for 6 days. Two days after steroid pack was completed, hives returned, though smaller and fewer

Arm is tingling and feeling numb around the injection site. Feels shooting pains in her arm; symptoms began 4 days post injection; patient was advised to contact her PCP

Timeline of symptoms following vaccine #2 injection at 10:20am on 4/16: - injection site soreness began 1:30pm - accelerated heart rate (anxiety?) around 4:30pm - no appetite/slight nausea at 5:00pm - mild headache 5:30pm - extreme arm pain and overall discomfort overnight, very little quality sleep - injection site warm and hard upon wakeup at 9am - fever developed around 11:30am, took Tylenol to combat at 2:30pm. Fever reading of 100.6 as of 2:15pm - fever broke - temp reading of 98.8 at 5:15pm - nausea increased again at 7:30pm. Temp reading of 100.4 as of 7:50pm - took Tylenol for fever at 8:00pm - mild diarrhea before bed - woke up soaked in sweat 7am - all symptoms subsided by 8am on 4/18 - no fever but experienced night sweats again 4/18-4/19 - mild night sweats 4/19-4/20

One week after being administered my first dose of the Moderna vaccine, I noticed a hard lump on my arm at the injection site. The lump was red, a little warm to the touch, and felt sore. This continued for 1-2 days. First the swelling went down and then at the end of the second day it was just a little sore still, but otherwise fine.

redness at the injection site that is in line with "COVID arm". In the injection arm, swelling of the lymph nodes and the direct injection site with persistant pain. Slight swelling and tenderness started day of injection and continued to progress.

Developed a small rash a few hours after the vaccine at the injection site with significant swelling. Area was also very hot to the touch. Over the next 3 weeks, the rash grew in size. At its largest, it was about 5 inches in diameter. The swelling went down after about 2 weeks. 4 weeks later- the swelling is gone, the rash is mostly faded (looks like a very light bruise now), and the area is still slightly warm to the touch.

12/30: Mild but lingering headache - relieved by Tylenol 1/3: Swollen left axillary lymph node; urticaria - seen by allergist - Allegra increased from 180mg > 360mg PO daily.

Rash formed on the back side of my right thigh probably 4-6 hours after receiving vaccine. Rash has intensified over time. One week after receiving the first dose, the area of the rash increased in size, turned darker in color, and the skin became more inflamed and sensitive.

Vaccine (2nd dose) received 12:45pm on 4/22/21. Beginning around 1:00am 4/23/21, fever developed and lasted until 10:00pm on 4/23/21, reaching a peak of 102.0 degrees Fahrenheit. Beginning at 6:00am 4/23/21, headache developed and lasted until 11:00am 4/23/21. Beginning at 6:00am 4/23/21, nausea developed and lasted until 1:00pm 4/23/21. Beginning at 5:00pm on 4/23/21, redness (1 inch circle) developed at injection side on arm, and was hot to the touch. Injection site redness continued to grow in size and become splotchy, reaching a size of 5 inches on upper arm. This redness began to decrease on 4/25/21, but did not fully disappear until 4/27/21.

Site of injection is sore, red, itchy, slightly warm, and swollen. Soreness and swollen feels similar to the day I got my shot.

Soreness and heavy feeling in the arm of injection site. Pins and needles feeling at times. Head felt heavy and mind felt cloudy. Slight dizzy feeling and loss of balance. Cold water had a burning/stinging sensation on my skin. Issues with temperature in general - hot water was either too hot to the touch or too cold - never warm enough. Slight fatigue.

4/29/21 1400 - LUE site warmth, firm, itching, and redness. Temperature 98.3 F, blood pressure 127/90, heart rate 90 bpm. No treatment plan, ongoing monitoring.

Patient presented with a rash and bump on the same are that received the vaccination. She had a fever that last about 48 hours post-vaccination. The bump appeared about 24 hours post-vaccination. She only had mild symptoms after her first vaccination. She was taking OTC Ibuprofen at this time.

Red, swollen bump at injection site. Started sometime between night of injection and the next morning. Itchy and painful. Has gotten bigger everyday.

I experience a severe headache that made me feel like laying down and I experienced it for about 4 days, going away for good on Sunday (4/25). But I started experiencing rashes on the back my legs around Friday 4/23, and I still have the rashes. Today is 4/28.

Fever of 102 within 12 hours. Developed hives on whole body (chest, neck, torso) including swelling of face and mouth 33 hours after vaccine. Have not resolved.

I reported earlier that I had a rapid heart rate and tinnitus after the vaccine. I still have the tinnitus and now I have developed shingles on the same side I got the vaccine. Not sure if it?s relevant, but wanted all of the information available.

Within 6 hours of the shot my arm was still and sore, by about 9:30 pm nausea started and from my shoulder to elbow hurt and I couldn't lift my arm at all without significant pain. Between 9:30 and 10:00pm I very quickly became severely nauseous, slightly dizzy, shivering and not able to get warm but having a sudden fever of 103°, and my heart rate sitting down wouldn't go below 135. All events except for the nausea came on very suddenly, from starting to feel it to full effects hitting it was 20 minutes max. I am just now able to move my arm normally, 2 days later, and the other symptoms subsided by 9:30 pm yesterday (day after the shot).

I experienced severe soreness near the injection site. It lasted approximately three days. During the first 48 hours, I experienced tingling/numbness in my right hand (my injection was in my right arm) which felt similar to when your hand falls asleep. To help with this, I stretched my arms to get my blood circulating.

Headache and major fatigue same day following shot, by late evening arm had "covid arm" rash and significant pain, to the point where I could not sleep properly night one. The swelling has gone down a bit as well as the soreness, but the rash and ache is still prevalent. I am certain it will continue to fade and am unconcerned, simply reporting in the side effect for records purposes.

About 8 days after the first dose, the vaccine site started welting up and I now have a large rash that is hot and itchy

Fever (100.2°), skin discomfort, splitting headache, abdominal pain, and sore arm at injection site. For several hours (9AM-11:30AM) breathing was restricted and airways felt swollen/inflamed/not fully open. At no point was it impossible to breathe, but it took noticeably more effort to breathe.

Full body tremor started around 10pm and stopped around 10:40pm 4 days after vaccine date. Anxiety and low grade fever lasted for a week and a half. Body ache on lower back and legs as well as itching, rash, and swelling on the vaccine site started 7 days after the vaccine. The symptoms lasted about 5 days.

Red lengthy blotchy rash at injection site approximately 4" long and 2" wide and soreness at and near injection site

Extension of period, extreme fatigue, brain fog, lack of appetite. Dizzy and naseous. Headache. Injection arm under arm pain. Increased heart rate.

Large red rash surrounding vaccine site approx. 6 total inches in diameter. Very warm and solid to the touch. Slightly itchy but has no other feeling. Center of area where shot was received has a small bit of bruising. Rash began receding after about 4 days but then came back again with the same symptoms.

Sunburn-like rash on upper-inner arm extending to just above middle of arm. (Off of injection site.) Next day, the rash turned tan-brown, like a very large bruise. The yellow hue lasted 3 days, then started fading. Area of rash got smaller and stayed, mostly, near the bicep. The color turned to a flesh-colored red. During the early days of the rash, I took Benadryl. (Not sure if it helped.) No fever during this time. No fu-like symptoms.

Red rash on arm, looks like sunburn but specifically around the injection site about 2" diameter. Slight pain when pressure applied. It's been a couple days since it showed and is starting to fade and become less painful.

I had a severe rash all over my body. I had to go to the emergency department twice and was prescribed Benadryl (25 mg every 6 hours for 6 days) and Prednisone (50 mg daily for 4 days) the first time. The doctors both said I had hives. The second time I went to the emergency department was because my rash has gotten worse and was now in my face (eyes, mouth). This doctor prescribed Famotidine (40 mg daily for 15 days), Loratadine (10 mg daily), and two epinephrine injectors just in case of anaphylaxis. After a week of having the rash and taking all medications plus adding calamine plus itch relief spray my rash went away.

Patient was seen at pharmacy Clinic 9 days post 1st Moderna vaccine for sudden development of erythematous macular 5cmx6cm round rash on right deltoid at injection site. Patient reported slight tenderness at the site. Diagnosed as likely a delayed hypersensitivity reaction and recommended treatment with cool compresses and analgesics if needed. She also had some axillary swelling and tenderness on the same side of the injection site. I called patient back the next day and she reported the rash resolved within hours of the visit.

?The patient has an itchy papular rash diffusely on her back approximately 1-1/2 hours after receiving her second Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. She describes some itching in her throat but no throat swelling or difficulty breathing. No wheezing, lightheadedness, fainting or vomiting. Vital signs are stable. 50 mg of oral Benadryl was administered.?

On March 10th, 2021. about 20 hours after the vaccine i started having a strange itchiness between my shoulder blades (upper back area). it comes and goes. sometimes its a tingling/numb feeling & sometimes its a crawling feeling. on April 7th i had my second dose of Moderna. on April 28th I was seen at my doctors office for swollen supraclavicular lymph nodes in my left arm. My doctor informed me that she believed this could be from the Vaccine.

Day 1: exhaustion Day 2: sore body, fevers (high of 102.4), exhaustion, chills, hot red ?rash? on arm (under injection shot) Day 3: mild fevers (high of 99.7), sore body Day 4: hives (treated with Benadryl)

On Thursday 19th, around 6pm I started to feel my face itching and there were hives around my eyes. Similar to mosquitoes or aunts bits. At 10pm on the same day my lips got swollen and I decided not to take anything for it since I thought it was just an allergic reaction. When I went to sleep, it seemed to have gone better; however the next day when I woke up to go to work. Not only I had my face swollen and with hives but it had spread towards my arms and legs, still similar to mosquitoes bits. I decided then to take Benadryl and around 10 AM while I was working my chest got tight and my throat started to close. It was difficult for me to breathe and speak. They took me to the ER were I was given an IV with anti inflammatory and an allergy medication.

Over a period of about 1.5 months, I developed hives all over my body. They started on my chest/upper back and slowly spread throughout. I had no idea what was wrong with me but knew I had reached a breaking point when all I could think about was the itching. I was scratching so much that I was causing deep bruising to form all over my body. Finally I was able to see a dermatologist on 5/3/21 who has started me on a Prednisone regimen and took a couple of skin biopsies while he was at it (still waiting for the results). Three days into treatment, this does seem to be helping.

About 10 hours after vaccine, chills & nausea started. As the night progressed and into the next day symptoms appeared in the following order : -soreness at vaccination site on arm -nausea -chills -headache -fever -sore throat & acid reflux -congestion -extreme fatigue

Recipient experienced hot flashes and itchy hives. On -site EMT called for ambulance. Given 50 mg Benadryl at 12:10 PM. Transported by ambulance to ED.

2x3 inch area of redness and itchiness around injection site. Somewhat tender. Heard its called "covid arm"

Large red, hot mark around injection site, hard and tender to the touch. I also experienced achiness and headache day of and day following my second shot but I expected that. I?m also a breastfeeding mother, my son is 6 months old and he was extremely sleepy the day after the vaccination (5/8/2021) he seems back to normal today (5/9/2021).

Red rash, 2" in diameter, around injection site. Itchy; warm; firm. Muscle soreness near injection site.

Day after receiving shot: sore arm, fever, chills, extreme body aches 3rd day after receiving shot: large raised red lump (approximately 4 inches in diameter) at injection location. Hard, very warm, sensitive to touch.

Injection arm was painful for the first few days after the vaccination, but didn't swell or appear abnormal. It woke me up in middle of the night for a few nights afterwards with the soreness. Seven days later, injection site was itchy, and then that evening began to be painful, and again woke me up in middle of the night with the soreness and took Tylenol. Injection site is now red, swollen, sore, and itchy. It's only been two days of the new side effects, and I'm not concerned as I read that this is a side effect with Moderna occasionally.

Patient reported redness and swelling about inch around her injection site. Reported on 5/15. Counseled patient that redness and swelling should have resolved by then. Recommended benadryl and hydrocortisone. If those did not help or resolve to contact doctor.

Swollen at site of injection 10 days after, itchy and raised like a giant mosquito bite. Then, giant red splotch taking up 1/3 of upper arm, probably 5 inches tall by 4 inches wide. Faded of the course of 4-5 days. Turned into a ring, looking like ringworm. Eventually faded completely, no remaining marks.

Patient called on 5/16 when we opened and explained that she got the vaccine yesterday, she did not have any symptoms/side effects besides sore arm yesterday. She said symptoms presented in the AM of 5/16 and her arm developed a red rash about 2-3 in around the injection side, it was painful to touch, swollen and hurt when she would move it. She reported that she did not have any itching. Told patient she could take some tylenol for the pain, apply ice and also take benadryl to help if it was a histamine response to the vaccine. Will follow up with her tomorrow and told patient if not better in 2-3 days to call the MD.

On the evening I got the shot, I felt extreme fatigue, had a bad headache, and started experiencing debilitating joint pain. At the injection site, I had only a small red area. The next day, I continued with these same symptoms and needed help caring for my child. The area on my arm doubled every 12 hours and has continued to increase in size. 3 days post vaccine, it is currently 2-3 inches in diameter and continuing to grow. It is red, inflamed, itchy, and painful.

Sunday after my shot started forming itching and redness, the next day had welts on my arm and good size rash on my arm. Took allergy medication, this morning 5.18.2021 rash is still there and bigger.

Approx a month after receiving the vaccine, I developed shingles on my left side. Could be be coincidental, but wanted to report. Received an antiviral from a clinic and was treated in time before shingles got worse.

After a little more than 24 hours a red, circular welt appeared on my skin at the injection site. It was hard and hot to the touch. After another 24 hours the welt doubled in size. It's still hard and hot to the touch. It feels tender but doesn't itch.

Lump under skin at vaccination site, red rash around vaccination site (itchy and sore), swollen, sore lymph nodes under left arm. I noticed the swollen lymph nodes a few days before the rash appeared.

Had redness that appeared a few days after injection and lasted a few days. I even had a rash in the shape of the bandaid as well as a blotch below. No pain or itchiness

Erythematous, pruritic rash on bilateral ventral surfaces of arms. No dyspnea, no palpitations, no chest pain, no wheezing. No desquamation. The patient's mother had the same reaction after the 1st vaccine. Benadryl advised. The pt will go to the ER with severe symptoms. I called in the afternoon and the patient's pruritis had resolved with Benadryl. Rash was still present. They will call back if symptoms change and go to ER for any severe changes.

Lip swelling: On 4/16/21, my lips swelled mildly, and the surrounding skin became red and irritated but not itchy. Topical Benadryl ointment reduced the irritation, and both the swelling and irritation ended by 4/19/21. Arm swelling: On 4/21/21, my left arm developed two raised swollen spots, about 1.5 inches in diameter, at the vaccine injection site. The swollen skin was firm and red, but not itchy or painful. One day later, the two swollen spots had merged into one larger spot about 3 by 2 inches in size. By 4/28/21, the swelling had gradually decreased, but the skin remained firm and slightly raised through 5/12/21. From 5/12/21 to 5/14/21, I took 200 mg of ibuprofen three times per day. By 5/15/21, the arm returned to normal. I received my second dose (Moderna lot 022C21A) on 5/11/21. It was injected into my right arm. As of 5/21/21, I have not had any swelling or irritation.

Arm swelled up the day after I received my second shot. This never happened with my first shot. I had a huge red bump that covered a large portion around the injection site. It?s itchy, swollen, red, puffy. I took pictures of my arm in case.

Patient has a knot under her skin near the injection site 2 days after receiving her second dose of the vaccine.

Tender, warm to touch, swollen, itchy rash at injection site within 24 hours of second dose-given on opposite arm than first dose

I developed what is known as the ?COVID arm? rash about 12 days after my first dose of Moderna. I had one smaller rash at the exact injection site and another much larger rash a few inches below that. Both rashes were red, itchy, slightly painful, and warm to the touch. I am treating it with Benadryl, which has helped relieve the itchiness.

I was prescribed prednisone and it was recommended I get the 2nd vaccine with the help of the steroids to help my side effects. I got the 2nd vaccine, and experienced a fever of 103 for 3 days with flu-like symptoms. The morning after my 2nd vaccine, I experienced a swollen tongue. I contacted my primary doctor, and decided to take Benadryl to see if it went down before going to the hospital. My tongue swelling went down after a 4-5 hours. I have been experiencing severe hives daily since March 20, 2021.

06-02-2021- Pain, swelling, rash around injection site, Severe Lymphatic Pain in L-arm pit, chills, fever, body aches, headache (Resolved after 800mg of ibuprofen). 06-03-2021- Chills, fever, body aches, extreme fatigue, headache (lasting entire day/night, fever and chills resolved after 400mg of ibuprofen). 06-03-2021- Woke up at 8AM experiencing extreme swelling, numbness, and tingling in R-Arm, unable to move wrist/hand/close hand/touch finger tips together (Symptoms mostly resolved by 12PM). 06-03-2021- 9PM- Nausea, Stomach ache, numbness/tingling in R-Arm, body aches, headache, fever, chills, severe pain in R-wrist, slight pain in L-wrist and around injection site, minor rash and tenderness around injection site.

Tired, sore arm, injection site remained red until second injection (06/04/21). Arm remained sore until second shot as well. Arm is still ?heavy? feeling & gets tired faster.

BP and pulse normalized and after 30 minutes of observation by RPh and paramedic was walked out of store by paramedic.

Patient received COVID-19 Moderna vaccine on 5/21/21, she had fever for 2 days for which she took Tylenol. After 4-5 days patient started having itching and small rash over her neck which kept spreading all over her neck. She also started having rashes on her abdomen area, patient did not see a doctor but stopped at pharmacy on 6/8/21 evening to report about side effect. Pharmacist advised to consult doctor as soon as possible but patient mentioned she may not have time till Thursday or Friday to visit a doctor. Pharmacist advised to use hydrocortisone cream with oral benadryl/zyrtec to temporarily help with rashes till she go sees a doctor. Pharmacist will follow up with patient tomorrow

Arm at injection site was itchy and red. She went to the ER and it was diagnosed as a staph infection and was put on antibiotics for 10 days

6 days after my first vaccine, I went to sleep and noticed my armpit was sore. The next day while I was out I noticed my arm was itching and I looked at my left arm and noticed it was swollen and red. Later that night I broke out into hives on the left side of my face and neck and my left ear was hot and so red that it almost looked purple. My arm was also very sore to the point that I couldn't move it. Over the next few days I noticed that my neck started to get sore. About 2 days after the allergic reaction, my neck was so stiff and sore that I could not move it. I had to lay in bed and take muscle relaxers for about 3-4 days. I could never sleep through the night because every time I would turn over I would wake up from so much pain in my neck. It went away after about a week of medicine, rest and stretches. I also noticed that for about a week after the initial allergic reaction that I would have random bouts of inflammation that would last for a couple hours. This was my first dose and with the second dose I didn't have an allergic reaction, but I had the same reaction with my neck approximately one week after the second dose.

Fever, body aches, fatigue, swelling at injection site, pain at injection site, headache Ibuprofen taken every 4 hours for fever and pain

About a week after vaccine (02/01/2021) I started lactating out of both nipples. I did go to the Doctor to get a pregnancy test and it was negative. They tested my prolactin levels and they were increased. I got them tested again and one came back normal but another one was high. I got an MRI to rule out anything else but it came back clear. I had high prolactin levels. The day after the vaccine I did have burning of my skin that lasted for 10 days. Anytime I put on unscented lotion it burned. The feeling would go away after 5 minutes but it was still intense.

Chest pain, dizziness, felt faint, and hives on upper torso 15 minutes after the injection was administered

Injection site reaction, Site was hot and small amount of swelling, and a large red circle about 3 inches in diameter. It appeared about 3 days after the injection and lasted about a week.

I had hives, swollen in my throat and left side lymph nodes from my neck to my breast. I got COVID arm 9 days after (softball size lump and swollen at the injection site). Had to visit urgent care.

I started with itchy hives, headache, nausea. The next day I couldn't move without help, fever 102.4, body aches, chills which resulted in going the the hospital. The headache lasted a week, swollen in lymph nodes, fatigue, diarreha, vomiting, dehydration. I was seen in urgent care twice after ER visit. Still under doctors care.

Started out with a migraine at 7 am. By 9 am I had chills, body aches, joint aches, headache, fever of 102. By 12 pm my fever was 104.7. It stayed that high for three hours then came back down to 102 with tylenol and ibuprofen and eventually leveled out at 99 until later in the afternoon. I was dehydrated despite large intake of water and gatorade. The day after the vaccine (6/18/2021) i woke up with blisters around my nostrils. These blisters were itchy, painful, and weeping significantly. Doctor diagnosed the blisters as impetigo and had to be put on antibiotics.

Swelling and large red rash at injection site. It gives off heat. And been having massive headache since the day after injection.

I just read an article about "COVID arm" and I believe that this is what I had! I had a softball sized, red circle around where the shot was given. It was swollen for about 1 week following administration. It also felt like there was a hard marble in my arm. Not very painful at all. I have a picture I would be happy to submit!

Bronchitis with some fluid/mucus in lungs resulting in frequent, painful cough. Symptoms actually started one day prior to second dose and continued to worsen, prompting an urgent care visit. Experienced coughing fits and shortness of breath when active Treated with 1 round of Z-pak (6/11-6/16, somewhat effective), 1 round of prednisone (6/22-current), with virtussin to suppress cough and al albuterol rescue inhaler. Patient also had a concurrent rash/hives at onset, assumed to be an allergic reaction to a new soap. Treated with OTC antihistamines and aloe vera and went away on its own.

ADVERSE REACTION # 1: 8 days after administration of Moderna vaccine, there was swelling, redness, hot to the touch, at injection site, with low grade fever for 1 week. Tx: cold compress and antihistamine. ADVERSE REACTION #2: 28 days after administration of Moderna vaccine, patient awoke to rash on chest, rash on front and back of right and left upper legs/thighs, rash on front and back of lower legs/calfs/shins(left and right), left inner forearm, and left front hip.

The week after taking first Moderna vaccine June 16, I woke up with my left elbow itchy, swollen and painful. Later on, my elbow swelled up about 3 inches. I had trouble putting my clothes, tying my hair, washing dishes, and any movement that bend my elbow. I had trouble sleeping as my elbow was stiff and painful. I did not injure my left elbow/arm or did very strenuous activity prior to the adverse event, June 16. My left arm was sore and painful for few days on June 9 from the first vaccine shot and I was better by June 13. As of July 1, my elbow still itches, swelled around 2 inches, and hurts. The pain is not extreme as June 16 but pain still lingers when I touch it. I have been icing my left elbow everyday.

Severe shoulder joint pain and mobility limitation. Suspected SIRVA due to incorrect injection site.

01/17/2021: 2 lumps started developing on lower extremities bilaterally, no discoloration noted. Pain to touch. 1/18/2021: more lumps developed on lower extremities bilaterally, slight redness noted on lumps, pain to to touch. Benadryl cream applied, no improvement. 1/19/2021: More lumps developed ranging in size to lower extremities bilaterally. First lumps appearing redder than newer lumps, pain to touch. Massaging done to lumps, worsened pain. Slightly painful to walk. Swelling to feet noted 1/20/2021: More lumps developed (>25 at this point). First lumps that appeared have discoloration now, bruise like. New lumps appear red in color. Pain to touch. Painful to walk. Swelling increased from prior day. 1/21/2021: Primary care provider seen. Blood drawn. Antibiotic shot given. Oral antibiotics given for 10 days. Pitting edema to bilateral ankles. No new lumps noted. Painful to walk, lumps painful to touch. 1/22/2021: No new lumps. Swelling increased. Painful to walk, lumps painful to touch. Visited an urgent care. Diagnosed with erythema nodosum, unknown cause 1/23/2021: No new lumps, swelling to bilateral ankles and feet increased. Skin stretching. Painful to walk, lumps painful to touch. All lumps bruise like colored. 1/24/2021: No new lumps, swelling to bilateral ankles and feet decreased. Lump discoloration started ceasing. Less painful to walk. Lumps painful to touch 1/25/2021: No new lumps, swelling continued to decrease, color of lumps continued to decrease. This continued for about a week until extremities returned to baseline.

pt started having redness, skin rash all over her body, mild fever at the night after vaccination was done. Reports no breathing problems. pt came to consultation window at Wed 7/7/2021 at 7 pm with rash symptoms and temp 98.7 'F. Was advised to take diphenhydramine 25 mg and follow up with PCP. Patient states there is no PCP. Was advised to go to emergency in case of worsening symptoms despite OTC recommendation.

Entire body broke out in hives, causing my skin to become very red and inflamed. Then full skin peeling. Was given fluids and creams to help with inflammation. Given a biopsy on right arm and leg to make sure it was not Stephen Johnson?s Syndrome And left with with psoriasis like scales after skin all over body peeled off.

PATIENT IS GETTING HER 2ND SHOT AT THE PHARMACY. 1ST SHOT GIVEN ELSEWHERE AND UNKNOWN LOT NUMBER OR VACCINE SITE. SHE REPORTED AFTER HER 1ST SHOT THAT SHE GOT AN ITCHY RASH THAT MADE HER ECZEMA WORSE. HER RASH ALSO SPREAD TO HER STOMACH/ABDOMEN AREA WHICH WAS UNUSUAL FOR HER. IT LASTED ABOUT 1 WEEK

My arm was mildly sore the 2 days following the shot, then I had no noticeable symptoms until 7/9, when I noticed a circular red spot around the vaccination site that often itches, and burns when I unthinkingly scratch it. I have also noticed increased fatigue in the last few days as well as random bouts of nausea/vertigo that last no more than a minute or two. I had a severe headache yesterday that I'm uncertain if it was related but it lasted several hours.

After the 2nd dose vaccine, I had nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. A few days later, I developed a rash on both my arms. The rash looked like little raised bumps and was itchy. I applied some Benadryl cream on it and it hasn't improved. About a week after my vaccination, I had flu like symptoms- shortness of breath, cough, low grade fever, body aches and joint pain. I went to the ER (Hospital) and was given oxygen, breathing treatments and was diagnosed with pneumonia. I was given a prescription of Z-pak azithromycin and discharged to follow up with my PCP.

Patient reported a red lump on her arm which appeared about 5 days after her first dose and lasted for 1 to 2 weeks.

After I received the vaccine, I began to experience pain and tenderness at the injection site almost immediately. Later that night I began to feel extremely tired so I went to sleep but woke up with chills a few hours later. A short time later I noticed that my neck was stiff and my tonsils began to swell a little. I also developed a slight fever of 100.6 and had headaches throughout the day. I called my doctor and asked if I could come in and if it is okay for me to continue breastfeeding my 5 month old. I was told that if my symptoms persisted or got worse, then I should come in but that I should take Tylenol, drink plenty of fluids and get as much rest as I can and that it was perfectly fine for me to continue to breastfeed my son. The effects lasted about 2 days the worst of it being within the 24 hours of receiving the vaccine.

Patient began to develop an itchy, diffused, red rash two days after the first dose of vaccine was administered. This condition affected upper and lower extremities, torso, face, and back.

PT WAS GIVEN ORAL LIQUID BENADRYL 50MG (20ML)

One week after my first dose of the Moderna COVID 19 vaccine (administered 12/24) I developed a large, itchy rash/hives at the injection site. The hives began 12/30 and are still present.

I received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday, December 29th at work and on Wednesday, December 30th when I woke up my entire neck had broken out in hives. I did not have hives anywhere else or any other reaction. After taking 25 mg of Benadryl po and applying hydrocortisone cream, the hives had cleared up about 75%. I continued to use the hydrocortisone cream throughout the day, but the hives/redness had fully cleared up by Saturday, January 2nd.

10 minutes post vaccination patient reported to clinic observation staff that she felt warm and flushed. Her face was red. We transported her to our on-site emergency room for evaluation.

Adverse reaction 7 days after vaccine: 1" diameter hard lump at vaccine injection site, no itching, slight warmth to touch after I massaged shoulder. No adverse reactions up to this point beyond slight tenderness at injection site for the 24 hours after injection.

I didn't have an adverse reaction until 6 days after the injection. The injection site became red and swollen and my whole body has been itching for 2 days now since 1/05/2021.

Spots have gone down over the course of the morning. She used cold towel and topical benadryl and that has helped a little bit. Patient appears well and in good overall health no fever nausea or vomiting. Pt has no further concerns at this time.

Hives across chest and upper abdomen (developed around start of symptoms 1800-1830 1/5/21), dizziness, full body aches continuing 48 hours after vaccine received

On Wednesday January 6th, I started to have itching, swelling, and redness at the injection site. The injection site continued to swell and was warm/hard to the touch, with mild pain. I took Benadryl that night (Jan 6th). On the morning of January 7th, the swelling had gone down but redness and warmth at injection site was still present. I took Benadryl that night (Jan 7th) as well. Today, January 8th, the redness and warmth is still present.

Arm soreness at injection site began a few hours after injection. About 18 hours after vaccine was given, experienced body aches, and tingling/numbness in arm that had injection and legs. Around this time also felt a little dizzy/light-headed.

Nausea. Vomiting. Migraine. Hot, but had constant cold chills Body aches, head to toe. Extremely tired. Super sore on injection site and about 4 inches surrounding.

Initially had (unconcerning) soreness/pain at the injection site hours 6 through ~60 after the vaccination. Soreness completely resolved after hour 60 then on day 7 post vaccination my arm began to feel tender again. Day 8 post vaccination it is painful at the injection site and the pain is only moderate but somewhat limiting. I have no other sx and did not injure or over-use my muscle. I don?t intend to take any medication for the discomfort. There is no redness/swelling at the site, just pain like there was immediately following the vaccine. I stopped getting VSAFE check ins after my third day of no symptoms which is why i?m completing this form.

Mild congestion starting the night of injection The day after injection I experienced a low grade fever, chills, extreme muscle soreness, headache, and soreness at the injection site. These symptoms lasted approx. 24 hours and then subsided.

Moderna COVID?19 Vaccine EUA. States she experienced fatigue 24 hours after and immediately felt like she had swelling/lump under her skin. States last night she started with itchiness over the injection site. Today she has developed warmth and redness. She denies discharge, fevers, shortness of breath, cough, wheezing, swelling of mouth or throat, n/v, or rash elsewhere. She denies receiving any other vaccines in that arm since then or injury to that arm. She reports the nurse did clean her arm with alcohol swab prior to vaccination and a bandage was placed. She did report her symptoms to employee health and was told to be seen.

Left arm injection site was swollen and sore first 1-3 days after injection. Soreness has dissipated, but injection site remains somewhat elevated. Red rash at injection site after showering. Injection site itches, especially when rubbed. Uncomfortable pinching sensation in left armpit starting approx. 1 week after injection through today.

Employee here with COVID vaccine reaction was given shot in right upper arm in deltoid area on 12/30/20. Redness came on after the vaccination but went away then on 01/07/21 it came back. The site is red, swollen, warm to the touch, with clearly defined borders. Site is 3.5 X 2.5cm and outlined in ink for monitoring. Explained conservative measures including cool compresses, if allowed by PCP taking OTC IBU and OTC antihistamines. If area worsens skin becomes taught or streaking develops to seek further care form PCP or walk in clinic. Employee verbalizes understanding and agrees with plan.

She reports waiting the allotted time of 15 minutes after receiving the Covid injection. She reports after the 15 mins. that she returned to her work area where co-workers commented that she had a red blotchy hive looking rash around her neck and upper trunk area. She denied any itching or SOB and reports that the blotches were noted for approx. 3 hours after shot. She was instructed prior to 2nd Covid shot to contact PCP with understanding voiced.

Vaccine received 12/31. Arm pain persisted x3 days. On 01/07 large itchy welts broke out on injection site. over time welts went away and whole area became red, swollen, and hot to touch. Arm also became sore again. Cortisone applied twice with minimal relief.

I received my vaccine in my right arm around 3:20 pm on 1/5/21. My right arm started getting sore later that evening. The following day, 1/6/21, my arm was very sore and the injection site was tender to touch. I felt feverish and had chills. I also had a headache and felt very fatigued. I took some Advil that morning. I evaluated my arm in the evening and noticed a large red rash streaking down my right arm from the injection site. It measured approximately 3.5 in X 1.5 in. The rash was red, raised, painful, and firmer than my surrounding skin. I took 500 mg of Tylenol before bed. The next morning, 1/7/21, the rash had grown larger. The border of the rash was marked and I took an antihistamine around 7:00 am. At 1:00 pm the rash had grown larger, now measuring approximately 4.25 in X 2.25 in. My lymph nodes in my right armpit were also beginning to get sore. I visited the nurse practitioner at my hospital?s employee health clinic around 1:40 pm and we agreed to monitor my signs and symptoms at that time. The following morning, 1/8/21, the rash was bigger, but my skin was softer and more of a pink color than red. My arm did not hurt as much, though my right armpit was slightly more sore. Today, 1/9/21, my symptoms are much better. I have only slight soreness in my right arm and armpit. My rash has nearly resolved, though it is slightly itchy where the rash was.

No symptoms until 1/7/21 when my arm was itchy, pink, and raised. It was same temperature as my arm, but it was approximately 3 inches wide and 2 inches long, and pretty much an oval where I had the vaccination.

On January 7 (approximately 1 week after getting the first dose of the Moderna vaccine), I experienced itching, hives, redness, and swelling at the injection site. None of these symptoms appeared immediately after getting the injection, and only first appeared on January 7. The symptoms subsided after 3 days and multiple doses of benadryl.

Around 1/10/21, site of injection started inching and was red. On 1/11/21, about a 2 inch redness around injection site, no itch. On 1/12/21, 2 inch redness remains, but the inside of the red area is my skin color, no itch.

Day 8 after being vaccinated with the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA my arm became red, hot and swollen. My arm was also sore. the area affected was right under the injection site.

Headache, Arthralgia, Fever, pain, stiffness, headache, chills, fever, fatigue Narrative: Day1- pain to injection site, stiffness on arm of injection site, headache chills and fever night of day1; Day 2 fatigue, chills, headache, fever; Day 3 minor headache not noticeable by end of day.

Arm pain at site lasting more than 24 hours. Radiating arm and neck pain and stiffness for first day, eased with sleep overnight. Feverish and chills in the evening of first night, eased with sleep overnight.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Exactly seven days after receiving the first dose of the vaccine I developed a rash that reserved a large hive near the site of injection. The skin was red with a wheal-like appearance and felt warm to the touch as well as swollen. I had no other symptoms and it was mildly itchy but not very bothersome. This rash improved by the next day, however the area was still red (less swelling and less redness overall) and now it is only very faintly noticeable.

Building pain throughout the evening in the arm of the injection site starting mildly around 5pm and increasing through the evening. Mild swelling of the arm around the injection site by 6pm. Chills developed around 6pm, no obvious fever. Aparent moderate fever with moderate chills developed around 9pm. Fever spiked around 10pm, chills continued. Consumed 2 benadryl tablets to assist with sleep. Fever, chills, and swelling were gone at time of waking up around 10am. Arm pain continued for 1 and 1/2 more days.

Non-anaphylactic reaction. Patient began to experience tingling/numbness on her fingers and Itching on chest area. Patient was given 4 ml of Benadryl at 6:15 patient was discharged home at 6:35 with improving signs and symptoms.

Redness and swelling of cheeks. Face feeling hot to the touch. Redness of neck. Took benedryl, ibuprofen and omeprazole and symptoms went away in a few hours.

Patient reported itching at injection site immediately after vaccine given. States it decreased while she was in the observation period. She states it has not resolved; she did have a bruise. Starting 24 hours after injection, employee started to develop a red, hot, tender patch of induration around the injection site. This steadily increased in size and severity over days 2 and 3 post injection. The reaction finally resolved 14 days after injection.

On Friday 1/8/21 0830 Patient started to have whole body aches and soreness to the arm where vaccine was given. Patient developed a fever of 102.0 at 1pm then took Ibuprofen 800mg and took temperature again and it was 99.4. Patient also stated she was tired. Patient was advised to push fluids and take Tylenol 1G now . Body aches and fever went away on 1/9/21. Patient stated she was tired and had a HA until 1/11/21.Patient took Tylenol to help with these symptoms which was effective.

Starting on 1/12/21 about 24 hours after vaccination, I felt very severe flu-like symptoms. I had nausea, chills, felt very lethargic and sore to the point where I couldn't stand at work, and had a pounding headache. The site where I got the vaccine was also more tender and sore than usual after a vaccination. I left work early around 3 pm, took 400 mg of ibuprofen every 6 hours and tried to get as much sleep as I could. By 6 am on 1/13/21, all these symptoms had gone away, but now I've noticed a very swollen lymph node just above my left clavicle.

Patient noticed redness and itching at injection site. Her arm was very painful and warm. Felt a pop in her arm near injection site and experienced sharper pain. Rash gradually over the next couple hours spread from her arm to her upper chest area.

Beginning 1/12/21, site of injection was itching. Upon touch, there is a lump that is raised and bigger than a quarter. Additionally, there is redness on the site of the lump. A sore arm began to return again and the site is warm to the touch.

Patient developed rash at the injection site 7 days after injection. Patient has no symptoms just the late onset rash

patient go her first dose of vaccine on 12/29. on 1/11 her arm started itching and now have a wheal at the vaccine site. Rash lasted 2 and half days and now resolved

Headache, ErythemaMultiform, UrticariaPruritus, 1/10-1/12 erythema, swelling, firm, warm to touch, itchy, looks like a bug bite at injection site, headache 1/10-1/12 erythema, swelling, bug bite, firm, warm to touch, itchy, headache. employee reports prone to migraines. Taking prescribed migraine meds. Applying ice compress. Pain spasms. Instructed to take antihistamine, apply cold compress, apply hydrocortisone. will continue to monitor.

Pt. received vaccine at 1520. At 1530 pt. started with itching, burning pain and patchy erythema without urticaria. No dyspnea, angioemdema or wheezing. Pt. also experienced mild anxiety with O2 sat at 99, pulse 90 and BP 120/84. At 1535 50 mg diphenhydramine given IM in R deltoid and ice pack applied to L shoulder. At 1550 pulse 90, O2 sat 99%, BP 130/90, respirations unlabored and pt. reported mild dizziness, but not feeling like fainting. At 1615 itching reduced, pt.'s primary care provider, contacted and situation was reported to triage nurse and on-call provider. Provider advised pt. okay to go home if responding to the diphenhydramine.

Heat, bruise like patch (possible rash) below injection site, edema around injection site. Personally feel it is localized cellulitis.

Received the vaccine at 1600 on 13 Jan 2021. At approximately 0700 on 14 Jan 2021, I noticed redness and swelling directly below injection site. It was tender to the touch but painless otherwise. At approximately 1400, the swelling began to burn without touching, causing discomfort and pain. Moving my arm causes pain at swollen area.

Swelling in arm just below and to the right of injection site. Swelling is very red/warm to the touch. The area has remained the same since 1/7/21 and has not increased or decreased in size. However the itch/burn feeling continues to increase daily. I do not plan to seek medical attention for this side effect unless the swelling is still present by dose #2. Im showing no other negative symptoms.

My arm was sore and tender for the first day after receiving the first dose of the vaccine. I had no other symptoms at the time. About 7 to 8 days after the first dose of the vaccine, my arm became red and warm at the injection site, and the redness continued to spread over the next day or two. I still have no other symptoms and feel fine overall. I will try an antihistamine to see if that resolves the redness and will see a physician if no improvement in a day or two.

7 days after initial IM injection--pain, pruritus, redness and warmth of left deltoid. Area felt indurated on palpation. Resolved after 2 days. Highly localized to injection site.

12/23/2020: 2 hr after injection, patient noted swollen lymph nodes, nausea, room spinning (motion sickness-like) sx. Stayed home from work that day and slept. 12/24/2020: "typical injection site pain" 12/30/2020: injection site hot, itchy, welts 12/31/2020: area of welts doubled in size to entire upper left arm; throat starting to close up

My arm was sore and tender for the first day after receiving my first dose of the vaccine, which was expected. There was no redness at the time and no other symptoms. About 7 or 8 days after receiving the first dose, the area around the injection site became red and warm and the redness continued to spread over the next day. I will be trying an antihistamine to see if this resolves the redness/warmness, and will see a doctor if it does not resolve over the next day or two. Otherwise, I have no other symptoms and feel fine.

Injection site reaction to left shoulder with swelling, redness and warmth to touch after the 8th day of administration of Moderna Covid-19 Vaccine.

ONE DAY AFTER 1/9/21 VACCINE DOSE, DEVELOPED ARTHRITIS AND ARTHRALGIA OF MP JOIN- IMPROVFED 1/13/21 2-3 DAYS AFTER VACCINE DEVELOPED A TRUNCAL ERYTHEMATOUD MACULAR RASH, NOT PRURITIC, IN TRUNK ARMS AND FACE. AS OF 1/4/21 RASH PERISTS FATIGUE SINCE VACCINE BENADRYL NOT HELPFUL

Right sided facial rash and itching and bilateral eye swelling developed 1 hour vaccine administration. Treated with Benadryl, Naproxen and Claritin. Itching resolved on 1/11/2021 and eye swelling and rash resolved on 1/12/2021

New onset of redness and warmth of LUE, denies pain. Skin with blanching, erythematous, edematous. Diagnosed with cellulitis and treated with antibiotics.

Rash both arms day of injection and still present when seen 1/11/21 with additional rash noted on legs. Also bruising on legs (?timing).

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA: allergic reaction at site of injection (upper left arm red and swollen)

Morning after injection experienced exceptional fatigue, relief from fatigue by Sunday morning. The following two days after injection experienced redness around injection site.

She received the Moderna COVID vaccine on 12/22/2020. She had no initial problems with the vaccine. Had a little soreness in the arm of the injection, but otherwise fine. Today, she has noticed itching and redness around the injection site. Located on the left shoulder.

At 9:00 PM yesterday I had full body chills, body aches, and nausea. At 11:00 PM a fever of 100.4. About 20 minutes later my fever went up to 101.6. At this time I took Tylenol. With the fever came a head ache. My injection sight is very painful. I did not sleep very well. When I woke up at 7:00AM my fever was 100 degrees. It has stayed at 100 degrees until this point (1:30 PM). My headache became painful enough that I took 2 excedrin that have relieved most of the headache. My symptoms are improving as the day progresses. My injection site is still very painful. With the normal flu vaccine I get yearly I have never had any problems.

Patient reported localized hives and itching to the left arm about 30 minutes after receiving vaccine. Paramedic on-duty immediatley brought equipment to patient to render care. Patient was given 50mg of benadryl IM and monitored for an additional twenty minutes. Patient's symptoms resolved and she expressed that she did not feel ambulance transport to hospital was necessary. Paramedic obtained an Against Medical Advice from medical control and patient was released into her mother's care with advice to activate 911 should symptoms return.
