Starting on Thursday, Dec. 31, patient began having shoulder and neck tightness. That night patient began having chills, and noticed redness at the vaccine sight and then the redness started streaking. Also complaints of itching at the vaccine sight. Started taking Tylenol for the two days following the vaccine, states feels like it is improving. Referred to PCP for evaluation. Has appt. Monday, January 4th

On the sixth day after the vaccination at the site of the vaccination on the left upper arm I experienced slight swelling, redness, and itching.

Patient called to notify that the patient's arm was red and hot to touch on 01/05/21. Patient took Benadryl at home and it gave it some relief.

PATIENT CALLED LCHD ON 1/6/21 TO REPORT REDNESS AND HEAT TO INJECTION SITE AT THIS TIME. PATIENT STATES THAT SHE TOOK BENADRYL AND WAS LIGHTENING UP IN COLOR.

red swollen area 10x10cm noted on resident's right upper arm. warm to touch denies pain or discomfort.

101 degree temperature, headache from day of injection which was a Saturday, Sunday and Monday, severe body aches,. tender nodes in neck, felt very ill, slept 24 hours, no appetite, itching.. I have improved but still itching and have hedache

Very sore arm, low grade fever, fatigue, red rash at injection site and down the left arm to just above the elbow. Took a Tylenol for fever, lots of water and an anti-itch cream for the rash. No fever after 2 days, arm is still tender, but the rash and itching remains. The rash and itching did not occur until the third day after the injection.

Had small, hard, painful knot at injection sight after shot that lasted 3 days and went away Itches, slightly tender to palpation, red 16.5 cm X 8.5 cm on R arm, anterior lateral aspect Treatment: Steroid injection - Cephalexin, Claritin, Famotidine, steroid cream - Triamcinolone, Salonpas liquid lidocaine

Arm under injection site turned red and itched a lot. Doctor gave me cephalexin 500mg for 7 days. I am also taking benedril. Redness is better and itching is much better.

Within about 2 days a round red sore appeared on my left arm just below my elbow. Each day it became more sore and inflamed. Within one week it became filled with puss, erupted, bled and now seems to be filling with puss again. Now, within the last 2-3 days the injection site has suddenly developed a large red patch of mildly itchy irritation surrounding the site, with one or two other small patches starting to appear nearby. During the last few days I have also notice a dull pain coming and going in my left arm. Using my cell phone, I have taken photos of the sore in 3 stages and of the red injection area. Those photos could be submitted to my doctor or this office, via text, if helpful.

Very red around site about1x3 inches very itchy for about 8 days. No pain just pink and red next to that small black and blue mark

One week after injection, site became swollen and redness occurred the next day. Treated with ice pack and pain medication.

Fever TMax 102 F, chills, myalgia, R arm intense pain, but no acute inflammation in area of injection

Adverse reaction approximately 7days after vaccine. Itchy, reddened Left upper arm. I woke up Sunday AM with blotchy, itchy rash on areas of upper body. The swelling and rash on the left arm had increased. I went to Urgent care/Med access in Person County about 10AM. Prescription written by the P.A. for Prednisone. Benedryl PRN over the counter as needed

Observations Covid19 vaccine: On 1/8/21 the first of the 2-stage Moderna vaccine was injected at the facility. The injection was barely felt and the symptoms were mild over the next few days. On January 17th - 9 days later - the area around the injection felt itchy upon waking. Swelling, redness and heat were observed at the injection site in an area about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Soap and water was applied for the itchiness and Tylenol was taken. The itchiness mostly subsided. Above the affected area a few scattered raised splotches are present. I had read about this set of reactions to the vaccine but had not read that this might occur as many as 9 days after the initial shot, so I thought I'd share that with my doctor via My Chart and with you in case it was useful. Thanks. This is the first day of the reaction and I expect it to go away on its own over the next few days. It's not sore just slightly itchy.

Felt fatigued and weak while taking routine daily walk (cold, clear, sunny weather). Had to stop once to rest (almost never happens). Then nearing end of 2-mile walk, knees buckled and fell down on sidewalk. (Did not trip). Hurt arm, scraped face. Went home, put ice on face, laid down, rested.

Red welt about 2 inches in diameter at injection site, swelling itching hot to the touch. Currently treating with OTC Benadryl and hydrocortisone cream. Started treatment 1/18/2021 ( 8 days after injection, so results of treatment not yet known.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA administered at 10:59 am on 1/16/21. Felt ok for the remainder of the day. Awoke at 1:25 am ith severe pain in left arm injection site, headache, nausea, fatigue, muscle and joint pain throughout body, chills and low grade fever. these symptoms persisted until mid-afternoon on 1/17/21 and gradually subsided i took ibruprofen and drank water. Finally ate a slice of toast at 5 pm and noticed the pain at injection site was improving. 12 hours later, feeling ok but still fatigued.

Patient reported pink color, slightly raised, and warm spot around injection site on 1//15/21 (9 days after vaccination).

Inflammation and redness at the injection site which increased in size (from about the size of a quarter to about four inches across) and also spread down and around the arm. This was accompanied by itching and was not relieved by using Benadryl Cream.

Arm went stiff for two or three days and it was very painful and ache , bruise at injection site for weeks no rash.

Day 1-3: Sore arm, fatigue Day 4-6: Normal Day 7-present: Injection site is red, swollen and hot, fatigue, dizziness, vertigo, weakness

Patient said she felt the meds going into her system after the vaccine was given and she became dizzy. Her vital signs were taken over a course of 30 minutes and her blood pressure kept getting higher and higher to 210/140/ Pulse 55 and O2 sat was 99%. Dr. was called and she recommended pt be taken to the ER by the ambulance. The ambulance was called but the pt ended up leaving in the car with her son. I called both Medical Center and Hospital but pt had not been admitted to the ER this afternoon.

One week after receiving the vaccine shot, my left upper arm from should down began to itch. Slight red, under the skin 'rash' could barely be seen. The individual spots did not seem to be the specific irritant. The arm around the shoulder was somewhat achy and tight feeling. I was able to sleep through the night after rubbing on Sarno-anti itch lotion. Could not get comfortable on my left side, with the shoulder area hurting.

Day 1-3: Fatigue, sore arm Day 4-6: None Day 7-9: Injection site red, swollen and hot, fatigue, vertigo, dizziness, weakness, facial swelling---experiencing now.

Nausea and vomiting on 1/16/21 early morning and then noted at 9PM with hives to back and neck area-has been afebrile, 1/17/21 temp=99.7 continues with nausea and hives, 1/18/21 Hives continue.

8.5cm round area of macular erythema, 1cm slightly raised satellite lesion at immunization site. mildly tender

Great experience with vaccine, but thought I should report. On the 8th evening after shot, injection site started itching. I scratched it and later looked in mirror. Site was red 3 1/2" X 4 1/2" It is now day 11 after shot and has spread 1/2 - 1 inch, but seems lighter. Have taken picture every day to document. I feel great otherwise and arm does not itch or bother me. Just red. Just wanted to make sure I can take next shot and thought I should report.

Vaccine given at 2:12 pm on R deltoid. 2:40 PM patient c/o small bumps and redness on forearm. No reaction at injection site. 2:45 PM ice pack placed on R forearm 2:54 PM HR 105, O2 95% rash size has not changed. 2:57 PM HR 98, O2 98% Pt calm, able to communicate, denies shortness of breath, Rash is the same size no noted changes 3:00 PM Pt sent home. Recommended to seek medical attention if here is difficulty breathing or any emergency.

Client received the vaccine on 1/8/21. The arm was sore until 1/16/21 when it became red and tender to touch. Was still red and tender when she reported the reaction to the health department.

Left arm swollen, warm, painful, and red from injection site in the left deltoid muscle to above the elbow. Client experienced chills and flu like symptoms. 9 days from vaccination and symptoms are starting to dissipate.

Immediate burning sensation in arm and lightheadedness, lasting 10 minutes. Felt weak for another 1/2 hour. Red blotch on arm lasted 5 days, went away but came back a couple days later. This time was very itchy, swollen and hot. Size was about 3 inches down my arm from the injection site.. Lasted about 4 days. Two weeks from shot, arm once again was itchy, with red dots near injection shot and down the arm.

On date of vacation 1/14/21, I had no reaction other than a slightly sore left arm which was better the next day and I had no other symptoms until today. Today 1/22/21, 8 days later, I woke up with my left arm sore at the vaccine site and when I looked, I found a bright red circle about 2" in diameter around the site. It is not hot to touch or sore - just a little itchy. Since the vaccination I have used no ointments or lotions on my arm, have done the same exercise each day, and have had no bump or accident to my arm.

Delayed rash on arm at injection site. On the 8th day following vaccination, I developed a circular red rash, slight swelling, hot, vaguely itchy. The circle was about 2 inches diameter. Over the next two days, although the swelling abated, the rash expanded down and around my arm. I am now in my third day of having the rash. Now , the rash is about 6 inches down my arm Like her, I am wondering whether I should have the second dose of the vaccine.

Stabbing top back, right side, head pain ( Sat), redness and blisters on right side of face (Wed), right eye pain and blisters (Fri).

COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Ten days after the injection of Covid 19 injection my arm swelled up, and became very red and itchy at the site of the injection. It just came up out of nowhere it seems as I had no reaction at all to the vaccine during the prior 10 days since the vaccination. This continued for two days. The first day after it happened I felt tired and weak in the morning. I got into work here at the house and the weakness went away. I treated the itchy situation with Clobetasol Propionate Cream which I had here and was prescribed by my dermatologist for poison ivy. That took away the itchy situation that was very annoying. Two days into it the swelling began to go down. Today is the 4th day since the problem occurred and there is no swelling and only a slight redness. I am assuming that I can take injection #2 on February 9 as scheduled.

Extremely itchy and swollen still on day 8 but slightly improving. Used ice packs did not seek medical attn

I had no side effects after the injection except for very slight arm discomfort for a day or two. Then, the evening of Day 6 (Jan. 20) I felt a little itchy around the injection site. Morning of Day 7 (Jan. 21) I was very itchy and my upper right arm was very itchy, red and inflamed. I called my dermatologist, and she told me to use a prescription cream I had from an irritation on my thumb last year, called Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream 0.1%. I also called my primary doctor, to let her know what was happening. Day 8 (Jan. 22) my upper arm was still very inflamed and seemed to be spreading wider across my arm, maybe 4"x3". Day 9 (Jan. 23) a little better. Day 10 (Jan. 24) much better. Almost gone. Little bit of red left. Still using cream until it goes away..

Sore left arm, day 2. Swelling, redness, inflamation (heat), itching on day 8- a week after the injection. This required Acetaminophen and cortisone cream. Surface area (4" by 6") still red on day 10.

The symptoms began 8 days after the vaccine. They are only local: redness, swelling, and slight itchiness.

redness and swelling and itching at the shot site. It did not show up until 4 days after I had the shot. I am taking Naproxen Sodium 2x a day. I'm not running a fever or feeling bad. just tenderness and swelling at the site. The muscle feels thick around the site.

Recieved vaccine on 1/13/2021. Site of injection red and swollen 2nd day after shot. Arm feeling better until 1/22/2021. On the 22nd site became itchy with redness 2in.X 1 1/2in with it increasing in size.

Per patient Received my first shot on Thursday, December 24 at approximately 11:20 am in my right arm. I felt fine with no reaction and returned home. On Wednesday evening (December 30), my right arm began to itch around the sight of injection. Upon inspection, my arm was swollen and bright red in an area about four inches wide around the sight of injection. As of the writing, the swelling and redness have disappeared. I feel fine with no other symptoms

Erythematous patch at injection site, 9 x 6cm, developed 9 days after vaccination. No pain or pruritus. Improving as of 1/26/21.

Red, swollen, painful, hard and hot at injection site. Golf ball size. Spoke with her several times. Advised, Tylenol for pain, ice for swelling . After 5 days of unchanged symptoms suggested she reach out to her medical provider. Her provider assessed the site and felt it was not an unusual presentation post vaccine. She is scheduled for her second Moderna vaccine on Monday February 15, 2021.

Rash at injection site 9 days following injection. Rash is oblong and measures 6" across and 3" wide. It is itchy.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Swelling, redness, itching started on the 9th day after vaccination. Area of redness expanded on 10th day and again on 11th day (today).

Slightly swollen, warm/hot to touch, red rash around injection site 8 days after injection . Noted on 1/26/2021

On 1-23-21, left arm became sore area of injection site; hurt to lie on left side to sleep. On 1-24-21, in am, upper arm very sore and red area, 3? X 1 1/2? at site. By evening it was more red and sore. Morning of 1-25-21, red area was more diffuse. Same evening, redness started to fade in center, creating a ?figure 8? appearance, with faded area in centers of figure 8 circles. Morning of 1-26-21, redness nearly gone, much less soreness. Today, 1-27-21, no redness but arm slightly sore to touch. Note, arm was sore for only three days after vaccination given.

A few hours after receiving the vaccine my arm was sore. It has stayed sore since then, Yesterday it was bothering me so I looked and noticed there was knot about the size bigger the a dime but smaller then a quarter. Slightly red area the injection site and has been itching. Feels warm to touch. I haven't really bad or anything. Since Saturday I have been trouble with my stomach which isn't anything unusual. It seems like it is upset.

Redness in upper left arm, slight muscular pain, moderate itchiness. Pain and redness basically gone but itchiness continues constantly

initially with redness and itching on chest and neck, elevated BP to 190/100, but otherwise normal 02 , HR, RR. Symptoms developed within 20 ish minutes of receiving vaccine. Hives developed on neck and near ear, then patient reported perioral sensations. Patient was non-verbal and communicating using texting so communication was challenging. Patient was initially given benadryl, but with the additional perioral sensations Epi was given. Patient transported to ER via rapid response team where additional benadryl and steriods were given.

After administering the vaccine, a small amount of bleeding noted at injection site. Cleaned with gauze, no further bleeding noted. Immediately noticed a small dimed sized firm nodule formed under skin. Patient denied pain and no other symptoms. Observed in the monitoring area for 30 minutes and the nodule started to decrease in size.

1/28/21 early morning- upper left arm 2X2 square of red at vaccination site has appeared and tender to the touch, temp at redness of arm is 102

Arm was swollen and had pain for two days then went away. Then 10 days later the injection site itched and burned and became swollen again with redness. The itching has subsided on day 12 after vaccination but still has redness and some pain and swelling. I called my primary physician and they prescribed 2 Advil. They said to call back if it does not improve in 2 days. I think it is weird that it has become red and sore again after the initial pain 2 days after injection had subsided.

about nine days after injection my upper left arm started to itch and be sensitive and got progressively more red and raised

States that the day after vaccination her arm was sore. Three days ago, patient noticed a large rash under right breast then she noticed small rash at injection site. Recommended for patient to follow up with primary care doctor- patient agreed. Will also discuss with doctor if she should receive second dose.

Itching, large red rash, hard bump in left outside upper arm. Appeared the morning of the ninth day after the vaccine (Monday, Jan. 25). Slowly improved. By today (Jan. 29), still slight redness and hard bump, but much improved.

I had no symptoms until one week later, 1/28/21. I began getting itchy, redness and minor swelling at injection site. I spoke to a doctor and he prescribed Twice daily, of Doxycycline Hyclate. He said it was unusual to develop symptoms at this time so it could be a delayed reaction or an infection. Airing on the side of caution, he prescribed the antibiotic. My temperature is normal and I have no other symptoms. I?m also taking Benadryl to relieve itching. I?m on the medication for the next ten days.

Injection site became more sore a week to 9 days after vaccine. Arm was red and swollen about 6 inches down and 4 inches wide. After 2 days of observing it, it was no better so I went to urgent care to get it checked 01/16.

Red elliptical "rash" around injection site--4 inches long, 3 inches wide, itchy and very slightly painful. Appeared 9 days after 1st dose of vaccine.

Itchy rash at injection site, started one week after 1st Covid inoculation (Jan 24). Still present as of Jan. 29, 2021. Lymph node under arm is swollen and sore. Rash is not infected, only itchy. Saw doctor Jan 26 who said it was either cellulitis or shingles. Saw second doctor Jan 27 recognized it as Covid arm. I wish this had been noted as a side effect on the web. I could have saved myself both the cost and potential Covid exposure from two different doctors' visits. Also, it would be nice to know if this is a delayed allergic reaction to vaccine components or a beneficial reaction by the immune system.

Eleven days after the first dose the site became itchy, warm and red in a small area around the injection site. During the next six days the area enlarged in a bell shape extending to about two inches above my elbow and about half the circumference of my upper arm. It would be more noticeable in the morning upon waking and later in the evening. I would put a cool wet facecloth on the area.

Started Itching PM on 1/28/21. Next morning a tiny bit sore and red. Four hours later still red but hasn't increased.

10 days following shot I developed over the next few days (now day 3 or 4) a growing red rash with darker red bumps in it, very itchy the size of a navel orange. I put topical Benadryl on it and it is less itchy after thatt.

Patient started to experience increased heart rate, tingling of the tongue (possibly swelling) patient just said it felt weird, feeling flushed or feeling hot, back of neck seemed warm. Shot was given 12pm (noon) 15 minutes later patient started to experience these symptoms. Blood pressure was checked initially (147/78).

Delayed injection site reaction: redness, hot to touch, itching, slight swelling. This is the second day of the delayed reaction so it persists although itching has stopped.

8 days later on 01-30-2021 red, swollen, itchy bulls-eye reaction at injection site. now the morning of 01/31/2021 getting a bit larger , red and slightly swollen and itchy. notified by text and sent pictures to my primary and was told to contact him in 2 days and if necessary take Benadryl

After shot my arm was a little sore, but by the following afternoon (Jan 28)it really hurt. When I actually looked at it,the area around the site was very, hot, swollen. That evening I took two Advil and used ice. The next day it was still quite uncomfortable and iced the area and had Advil again. The 30th was still swollen and red.and itchy/stingy. Used ice and Advil. Today it is not as red but still some swelling and a little itchy and minimal discomfort.

On Day 10 after the injection, I developed a red itchy hot rash on the left arm.. It continued to get larger and redder until it cover most of the outside upper arm. It did not start to go away until Day 16. By Day 18 it was only slightly visible. On Day 10, I started taking benedryl because i thought it might be an allergic reaction. By Day 11 I consulted with my doctor because it was so large and fire red. I was given prednisone and told to use cool compresses.

Local injection site redness, swelling & itching starting Day2 & continuing throughDay8. Local redness & swelling 3 inches in diameter.

Itching began Thursday, Jan 28. On Friday, Jan 29, got a hot itching rash approx 2" in diameter approx 2" below vaccination site. Treating with ice packs, benadryl cream. As of today, Jan 31, it's still itching. The rash is becoming paler. We have a photo if needed.

After initial redness disappeared, 7days later the left arm had redness again, large area and itching. Observed, on this date only slight itching and redness

Large red area on upper arm around shot location. The upper boundary was rounded on top, vertical on the sides, and a relatively straight line across the bottom. It is about 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide, and was a little swollen yesterday but not much today.

Nine days after receiving injection a broad red patch appeared at or near the injection site. Treated with anti biotic--mostly gone in one week

My arm was sore and swollen at the vaccine site 3 hours after inoculation and thru the following 48 hours. On 1-23-21 I started feeling very short of breath, began using my Albuterol inhaler every 4 hours; and continue using it. On 1-29-21 my upper arm at vaccine site started itching and had some red spots, this stopped the next day.

TWO ADVERSE EVENTS 1. Itchy red bumpy rash appearing on forearm in 3 spots about 2"-3" in size on 1-17-21, still visible, no longer itchy 2. Red itchy smooth rash 3"x5" around injection site appearing on 1-30-21

Itching, redness and inflammation of right upper around injection site began on day 8. Itching subsided after about 36 hours and inflammation slowly decreased until gone on day 12 after injection.

Patient complains of injection site rash, pruritis, swelling and erythema. The onset of injection site rash occurred upon receipt of vaccination, disappeared and then reappeared a few days later. Patient was informed to monitor the rash and report to physician if any indication of infection occurs.

Exactly one week after the vaccine, I awoke to feel the injection site very itchy and hot. When I looked, it was swollen around the injection area...previously no irritation at all. At the same time, I felt like I was catching a head cold: lots of postnasal drip and some coughing and general tiredness. Injection site symptoms lasted about 24 hours. Cold like symptoms lasted 3 days.

Muscle ache, right arm, 3first days; vomited dinner day 2 and occasional nausea 2 more days; joint pains off and on for first few days; "Covid Arm" day 8, ongoing: baseball sized 6" diameter hot red rash around injection site, and swollen finger joint opposite (left) hand. developed "funny" feeling in the tongue at about 12:15. by 7pm had itching as well. started Benadry that evening (Friday) & through weekend. resolved by Monday 2/1/21 Had this tongue reaction to allergy shots in the past.

Intensely itchy red rash which appeared 9 days following vaccination, in the area of the vaccination site, about 4 ?x 5?. It appeared suddenly on 1/31 and has subsided slightly now. I had surgery at Hospital today to remove a port and the medical personnel advised me to report this rash. I attempted to do so, but was advised by Urgent Care to go to the Emergency Room, which seemed totally unnecessary. I have an appointment for the second shot on 2/22 and wanted to get advice before that.

PATIENT REPORTS A RASH ON BUTTOCKS, THIGHS, HANDS & BACK BEGINNING THE DAY AFTER RECEIVING THE VACCINE

on 02/01/2021 when I woke up in the morning I noticed a rash on my left arm in the area of the COVID 19 vaccination injection. Slight warm to the touch, slight swelling, slightly itchy, no pain.

One week after shot my right arm began itching at the injection site. My arm is red almost to my elbow and still itches. Also have a hard lump in my arm.

ON TENTH DAY, BURNING ITCHING RED AREA AT INJECTION SITE. DESCRIBED AS COVID ARM ON INTERBET, ONGOING AT THIS POINT IN TIME, RED BUT NOT BURNING OR ITCHING NOW.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Severe rash, welts, burning, chills; occurred 1 week after injection. Visited Clinic; placed on Prednisone, Hydrocortisone, & Benadryl. Next day rash spreading & worse, again visited clinic & prescribed Famotidine 20 mg; Zyrtec - 10 mg; Hydrocortisone

Extreme pain and bruising in the left arm which lasted for 4 days, decreasing pain each day. I couldn't sleep lying on my left side. Very restless the first night with little sleep. Small bruise is still showing 7 days later. Mild headache, nausea, and dizziness for 4 days.

Rash around vaccine site, approximately 4 X 2, slightly swollen and itchy. It started 8 days after injection with just a couple of red spots, then grew to a patch.

On day 8 I was awakened by a very itchy arm. When I got up I noticed a signicant rash on my left arm that ran from the injection site almost to my elbow. If continued to be very itchy that day but by the following day the itching stopped but the rash didn't go away. Today February 4th the rash has gotten smaller but is still in the area of the injection

Tuesday after my injection I started getting nauseous, my right arm was very red and swollen along the injection site and overflowed into my upper arm. These symptoms lasted 7 days. When I went to bed on Tuesday night, I woke up early in the morning with palpitations, very nauseated, and light headed. The palpitations lasted about 2 hours, light headedness about 30 minutes. I had no further palpitations or light headedness after this.

3" diameter round swelling and rash at injection site. Itching. I took Benadryl and put ice on the swelling on Sunday and Monday . It is less annoying today but still red and hot.

Red rash, both itchy and swollen, first noticed to be about 2 inches in diameter and which doubled by Feb. 3.

PATIENT BROKE OUT IN RASH ALL OVER BODY 2 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THE VACCINE. PATIENT SELF TREATED WITH ORAL BENADRYL AND HYDROCORTISONE CREAM. PATIENT HAS SEEN IMPROVEMENT.

Itching was first thing. At site, swollen and red. I began to take Benadryl 2 times per day for 3 days. Normal after that time.

Injection Jan 19 - Jan 29 two red itching circles, one at injection site and one below. Grew together and formed large circle that was also slightly sore. Upset stomach. Both improving on Feb 5.

Mild headache for about a week. 5. after one week a large red, itchy, swollen area appeared at the injection sight (approx. 2" x 4") reduced over 12 hours to small area swollen and red at injection sight and that still exists 2 weeks later.

About a week after receiving the vaccine soreness in my arm which lasted for about 3 days. About 5 days after the soreness went away I developed a rash on my arm. My arm was hot and swollen. I went to an urgent care the same day I noticed the rash, they put me on steroid and antibiotic Cephalexin. They also sent me to the ER for an ultrasound to make sure I didn't have a blood clot. It is normal now. Besides the rash I felt fine otherwise.

The day after the injection I was sore and the arm was bruised, purplish color, and hot to the touch. And this morning I got very itchy around the vaccine site and its still red and hard to the touch, like there was a lump under the skin. The bruise has faded a little but its not getting much better. Medical provider called to recommend benadryl and tylenol, and keep a warm pack on it, and also to seek help if it has not improved over the weekend.

SWELLING OF INJECTION SITE (~6 INCHES DIAMETER) & TEMPERATURE 106F SORENESS (MODERATE) MUSCLE ACHES THROUGHOUT BODY & JOINT ACHES FATIGUE FEVER (99 - 100.6F (BEGINNING ON DAY 2 AFTER SHOT @ 5:00 A.M.).

Red rash located around site of injection and on front of neck. Has not tried any treatment, yet. Came in today questioning reaction and asking for treatment suggestions.

Starting about 9 days after the first dose, I developed a painful, hot, red itchy rash at vaccine site. It went away after about 3 days, but has returned today. The area is even larger than originally. The arm is NOT painful, but it is very red and itchy.

Rash with hives on left arm. Spread to face, neck , chest. Burning and itchy. I took Bendryl. Applied Triamcinolobe cream with cold damp cloth to all effected areas. Did go to urgent care. Was told it was a reaction. Take Bendryl every 6 hours.

Initially, my left arm had a red spot for 10-11 days. Then clear. 14 days later I went swimming in a lane I had reserved at my club. Lanes are reserved for 45 minute swims. This was my second swim after my first Covid vaccine. About 15 minutes into this second swim, the outside of my throat began stinging and itching. Soon my chest was stinging and itching. A friend was swimming in the adjoining lane. I told her I was going to cut short my swim because of stinging. She reported that my throat and chest were very red. About 6 minutes later I was home, took an OTC anti-inflammatory (Zyrtec), took a shower. I believe it was vaccine belated because I also had a large, thin ring around the injection site. Over the course of the next hour the stinging, itching, redness subsided. I told my Dr. She told the allergy dept. They suggested I take a Zyrtec prior to my next swim, which I did. No reaction. I did NOT have a similar reaction the first time I swam after the injection. It was exactly 2 weeks later that I had the rash and stinging.

Woke up and started vomiting around 11:30 that night(2/5.) This lasted approximately 1-2 hours. Was unable to eat anything until late afternoon on Sat. the 6th. Had a bad headache throughout and bad soreness at the injection site. Still have headache (approx. 5pm on Mon. 2/8) but soreness at injection site has almost disappeared. I do not have a primary physician so have not called anyone. Am now taking Advil for headache which helps but it returns if I stop.

Had itching off and on since injection. Did not have soreness until 2 days after injection and itching off and on. Became progressively worse until Sunday, February 7. Noticed very red rash, slight swelling, "knots" in area but only slightly swollen overall. "lumps" in arm.

About 10-11 days after vaccine, my arm was sore again and I broke out with a red, angry, splotchy, patch. A little itchy, a little sore, about 3" in diameter. Did some internet searching and saw it might be "Covid Arm", no reason to worry, and no reason not to get second shot which I'm scheduled for on the 18th. Might use the right arm though since it's still a little warm and sore.

red rash and hives developed on both inside arms from wrist to shoulder quite quickly and moved up to beginning of chest. I contacted my physician who diagnosed covid arm. I treated it with benadryl. The same event happened the next day, but less intensely, also treated with benadryl. The third day there was a smaller reaction and I treated with allegra. This had nothing to do with the injection site. The site was sore to the touch for about a week. I am wondering what will happen with the second dose.

When injected in the shoulder it was very painful. Went home and laid down. When I got up I could not move my arm without severe pain. I believe the shot was injected too high on my shoulder. Pain was severe for 3 days and I took maximum Tylenol. The arm is usuable now, pain is less, still have trouble raising the arm up or back. I have had no other ill effects from the vaccine.

COVID arm . I developed a rash on the left arm a week after the injection. It turned red and and there was itching, not terrible but some. It's fading, not as red, still itching.

Developed a rash on my buttocks and down my legs. Saw Dr and he prescribed MethyIPrednisolone Tablets

So one day I noticed that my arm was itchy at the injection site which it had not been before. I noticed later that it was getting red and hot, so I drew a circle around it, to make sure it didn't spread more. The next day it was bigger so I went to the clinic. The doctor saw it and said it was cellulitis and because of my history of allergies to anti-biotics she put me on bactrim.

Itchiness on both arms, tongue strange feeling , pain on site of vaccine 30 minutes after vaccination. 7 days after vaccination, hardness on site of vaccine, redness, very itchy.

On day 8 after vaccine administered I developed a red rash at the earlier inoculation site. The site was sore and icy hot and felt as if I had just been administered a flu shot. This is the second day of the reaction and it is still sore and feels icy hot with the rash the same. It involves my Left upper arm exactly where I had been inoculated.

Red rash at injection site approximately 3-4 inches circle-fading for 5 days. On and off itch-5 days. On and off slight dizziness-5 days. Headache-first evening of rash.

Patient stated that 1 week later, she had a red itchy rash about 3x4" diameter around injection site.

Four days after the injection, my left arm displayed a red area about an inch in diameter. It also itched. Today is the 8th day since the injection and my arm is now all red from the shoulder halfway down to my elbow. The area is warm to the touch and is raised and really itches. The red area is now 4 1/2" wide and 5 " long. I have no other symptoms and feel fine. Just thought you would want to know.

The next day after I was so weak and fatigued I couldnt get out of bed. I was literally stayed in bed for 36hr because I was so weak and tired. My arm swole up just as bad as from the previous arm did from the 1st vaccination but this time when healing it was like red and pink streaks were up and down my arm.

Patient is historian, called Clinic to report symptoms. Per patient, patient received Moderna vaccine on Thursday, 01/21/2021 in left deltoid, localized reaction of redness at around 5 pm on Friday with "bubbly blisters" similar to herpetic blisters at sight, heat, itchiness, and hard induration red in color with white rim about the size of her palm. Per patient, blisters were gone in the morning on Saturday with continuation of other symptoms. Per patient, she did take Benadryl every 12 hours until 2/8/2021 and in addition used topical cortisone anti-itch cream. Patient reports today, 02/11/2021 that the sight is not back to normal but the symptoms of itchiness, redness, heat, and induration are resolved.

Delayed reaction 8th day post injection of large red, itchy lesion at original injection site. Plus onset of fatigue.

One week following vaccine: itching, redness and hot at injection site. Over the following week, area of redness increased in size, moving up and down my arm and reaching about 6-7 inches in diameter. Dr. initially prescribed Benadryl, and then changed to Zyrtec. I had taken a Benadryl prior to vaccine since I had a similar reaction to the flu shot, although not as much redness. As of this date (2/22/21) symptoms are lessening although some redness remains.

One week later, site of injection became red, swollen and felt bruised, similar symptoms to a few hours after the shot but one week later, lasting for 3 days.

One week after injection---red, slightly raised, patch, approximately 2 x2 inches, at the injection site. Very itchy. Don't know if it will get larger.

When I woke up the next morning my arm was super red and itchy, throughout the day it got swoller, redder and developed a fever. About 12n my daughter took the temp of my arm and it was 102 so we made ice packs to help with the pain and swelling. Later she went an bought Cortisone and used the ice packs and Cortisone for about 3 or 4 days when the arm finally begin to get better. My arm was so painful it was almost unbareable to touch.

AN HOUR AFTER THE VACCINATION, THE PATIENT DEVELOPED SMALL BLISTERS ON HER NECK ON THE LEFT SIDE, SHE ALSO NOTICED THAT THEY HAD DEVELOPED ON HER LEFT SHOULDER AND DOWN HER BACK. THE BLISTERS GOT LARGER ON HER SHOULDER AND BACK THAN THE ONES ON HER NECK. THEY WERE FILLED WITH LIQUID. SHE RECEIVED THE VACCINE IN HER LEFT ARM. I ADVISED HER TO TAKE BENADRYL AND CALL THE DOCTOR OR GO TO ER IF SYMPTOMS PERSISTED OR GOT WORSE.

I woke up with severe Number 10 pain in my right knee, front , back and side. It was red, tender and swollen. The pain moved down to my right ankle and foot with severe muscle spasms pulling my right foot inwards toward my left foot. I could not walk to bathroom without screeming. Then it moved to my right hip area with muscle spasms across my lower back. I am still experiencing pain and muscle spasms (not as severe) today at this writing. It seems to be attacking my body where I have old injuries.

Notice little pin point red dots that appeared a couple of days where I received the injection. A few days later I notice serval long red lines appear above, in and under my underarm on the side I had the injection. They resembled in appearance like long scratch lines but they were not stratches.

Immune Response to vaccine injection with forearm/arm redness/swelling/itching; treated with 3 days of around the clock dosing of Benadryl, along with cold pack application

Beginning 7 days post-injection there was itching, a hard bump and redness in a circle form, measuring approximately 3", gradually lessening until gone 10 days after noticing this.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Bad rash all over my body. Severe itching. Zyrtec and Pepcid. Just started 02/11/2021

Patient developed severe rash on upper portion of body with severe itching six days after the vaccination. As of this report, rash continues to spread. Patient has been seen by a nurse and prescribed Methylprednisolone for treatment.

At beginning of second week, white pustules appeared on right upper eyelid, across my lower lip, and a few on both lower arms. By the third week, all but my eyelid have healed up. Eyelid was the largest and is still large and white, however is not red and inflamed as in the beginning.

The day after receiving the vaccine the patient stated she developed a rash. The rash progressively became worse causing her to call her family doctor. The physician prescribed pepcid and zyrtec. Today 2/12/2021 the patient contacted the pharmacy to ask if she should get the second dose. She was instructed no.

Red rash on arm where injections was given about 4 inches long. It itches and a bit sore. Received Moderna type

I still have redness, bruising and the area is warm to the touch at the injection site. I am having pain in the underarm and going into the chest area. Have not been treated ... I did tell the people who are doing the texting about the results of the shot. I have not seen anyone about the problem. Since I had not received any text referencing the problem I assumed it was standard.

Day 8 woke up with an itchy quarter-sized rash on upper left arm about an inch from the injection site. Redness has faded somewhat but the rash has spread to about 3 inches in diameter as of today. Just sporadic itching, no other symptoms - feeling fine.

On day 7 I developed itching and raised welts at the injection site. On day 8 and 9 the itching and raised welts were gone but left a red circle about 2 1/2"x2 1/2". Applied topical Benadryl for the itching. Personal doctor was not contacted.

"Covid Arm" Large red swollen area around injection site. Appeared about 10-11 days after injection. Mild itching, warm to the touch. Muscle a bit hard to the touch. Area tender to touch, but not necessarily painful.

About about an hour after shot, (given in left arm) I had what felt like a jab pain the area inside my left wrist. It was a sharp pain like being stung. Thus happened for two days, woke me up at night. I took a picture of my left wrist on Feb 11 and my right, both in the same minute. The structure and size of vein enlarged on the left side, as well as the color of skin. The right side was normal. As of today, the difference in the veins is still there, yet the jabbing pain has stopped.

My second Covid Vaccine was 2/4/2021 and then on 2/11/2021 I was diagnosed with Shingles. Also started with symptoms of Sciatica on 2/13/2021

Delayed hypersensitivity reaction at site of injection. Red rah approximately three to four inches in diameter with itching.

Covid Arm: rash about 3 " in area of injection going up over shoulder. itchy, red and warm. Lasted 3 days. Not painful, just uncomfortable.

On day eight following vaccination itching on upper arm at site. Day nine redness at site. Redness and itching expanded down arm. Day 12 swelling in arm and lymph nodes?? above crease in left arm swollen. One slightly and the other golf ball size. Contacted doctor on day 13 (Friday morning) . Due to weather conditions advised to see him on the following Monday (today day 16) if not improved. Currently the redness and itching has stopped but swelling in one of the lymph nodes is still visible but much better than before. My concern is about worse reaction to second vaccine and if I should receive second vaccine in same arm.

MODERNA COVID-19 Vaccine. "COVID Arm" Itching and red swelling appearing on arm after 10 days covering an area of approximately 2" x 4 1/2". Lasted for 3 days and then diminished.

Swollen, knot, warm, w/pinkish circular skin discoloration around the injection site about 3" in diameter.

Localized redness surrounding injection site. Approx 5 cm circular redness mild swelling and warmness. Advised topical benedryl to area twice daily for 3-5 days. Also advised holding pressure for 3-5 minutes after next injection. Patient reports improvement over the past 4 days.

Itchy, red area about 3x3 at site. Developed a couple days ago. I did not have any side effect when the injection given, other than a bit of soreness at site. Will follow. Read about others having this issue when I checked the websites. Will go ahead and have the scheduled second injection in a couple weeks. Suppose just a good sign my immune system is working? But thought any reactions should be shared with CDC or Maderna as part of their ongoing research.

On 2/12/21, 9 days after my shot, a rash appeared on my left arm between my shoulder and my elbow, 2 to 3 inches wide. The rash as of today 2/16/21 is still there...some tenderness, not itchy. I had no symptoms after the shot initially except some soreness at the injection site briefly. The internet has identified the rash as "Covid Arm".

9 days after the shot pt rcvd a rash on left arm from top of should to elbow. Rash is a little tender.

Chills and fever (max 100.9), pain at injection site about 18 hours duration, took Tylenol 500 mg x 2 hours apart

NO fever at all during this time or shortness of breath. Pain in the arm at injection site up into neck and top of head. (48 hours) Tylenol for pain. About 3pm Saturday 2/6: Concerning spike of blood pressure 154/92-resulted in urgent care visit. Covid test taken as precaution by MD. Mom not "feeling well" 0630 Sunday 2/7: BP spike to 166/109, Blurry vision, dizziness. EMS called to assess at home. followed up by ER visit. all tests resulted negative. BP dropped to 120/72. On discharge BP up to 162/92. Lisinopril prescribed for HBP. 1 dose given. Monday 2/8: Vomiting and diarrhea, lightheaded. EMS called for assessment, BP drop 100/70. Hydration, rest. Moderate/Severe fatigue and aches (6-7 days) Mild lethargy. (24-36 hrs)

Arm was moderately sore for first two days. After approximately 2 weeks, a large area around the injection site became red and intensely itchy. This continued for a full week or more. The point of the injection was clearly visible with a whitish area around it.

pt stated her left arm was sore and warm to the touch after getting the vax. On the next day she developed a fever of 101-102 along with fatigue, nausea, weakness, so she slept all day. Third day her fever was 99.8, she still had fatigue and arm was hot to the touch at the injection site. She now has a rash an inch below the injection site and is about 3x4 inches in size. Pt has not contacted her PCP at this time.

A few days after the injection, the site of the shot started to itch. Then it became slightly swollen and red, and felt warm to the touch. It continued at this level for another 2 days or so, then it started to recede. I took Advil to reduce symptoms. It took about 5 days after the onset of these symptoms for it to clear up. I am reporting this only for research purposes. I'm fine.

Initially was fine but a few hours later arm hurt. Was unable to move arm the next day and felt tired but on day two, felt so much better. Noticed that now her arm w as itchy and had a small round circle. Notice that the red circle was getting bigger and felt hot.

Patient experiencing a red rash below the injection site. She said this developed 12-24 hours post vaccine. She describes it as red, hot, and "a little firm." Patient did take some acetaminophen 2/12/2021 but has not taken any since. I advised to take IBU or acetaminophen, ice, and rest to help with symptom management. Advised that if symptoms worsen to come in to be seen at the clinic.

Starting on day 10 - delayed skin reaction described online as "covid arm": spreading, hot, itchy, bright red rash which covered the top of the right arm near the injection site and decreased once started topical steroid cream and benedryl. By day 17 gone.

2 weeks and 2 days after injection of first dose of covid vaccine I noticed a rash and itching on left side of torso. Included achy pain and sharp, stabbing pin-prick pain. It spread to my back. Went to Urgent Care 4 days later and it was diagnosed as shingles by Dr. He prescribed 7 days of valacyclovir and Advil and Tylenol for pain. Was told it will take weeks to clear up. I had the Shingrex vaccine (both doses) 18 months ago and am not supposed to be able to get shingles. I had chemotherapy for lymphoma 6 years ago and I believe it adversely affected my immune system. I'm reporting this in hopes you could ask people if they've had chemotherapy in the past, which may lead to adverse side effects such as shingles. I also had severe nausea 36 hours after the covid first dose, which I have previously reported. The sore arm was to be expected and I ignored it.

Pain, swelling, tenderness at injection site. Muscle pain in body, headache and nausea started several hours after injection and lasted about 24 hours. Fatigue lasted into second day. Fever and chills started about 12 hours later for about 6 hours. (Some of symptoms at injection site may have been a result of the administration of the injection. There was some blood at the site and I still have a black and blue mark)

Slight soreness, swelling, and intense itching from,seemingly, a red rash around the injection site. After using anti-itch ointments, (Cortaid & Cortizone-10), the itching has continued and has spread farther down the arm that was innoculated/vaccinated this week. I tried calling my health clinic, but they have been closed because of the winter storm. I have called the Pharmacy to speak to the pharmacist, but was placed on hold for about 15 minutes, without a pick-up of my call. I would just like some advice as to how best to address my issue because the itching still persists.

Redness and swelling, warmth in the area of injection site and stinging, itching, and burning pain (like an insect bite) 6 days following vaccination. Symptoms lasted about 4-5 days. Application of ice on the affected area, which helped the area feel better. Then on the evening of February 17, the signs and symptoms reappeared.

Covid Arm starting at the vaccination site, spreading to cover most of my upper arm from shoulder to below the elbow. Red, hot, extreme.y itchy. Began 8 days after injection and lasted about a week. Used ice, Zrytec, Benadryl.

6-7 days after she received injection to right arm she noticed a rash, slighly itchy that increased in size. came to office and redness, swelling noted 12 cmx12 cm. pt otherwise feels well. no fever, chills, aches. appears to be a delayed localized immune response at injection site. pt concerned that she had "covid arm" so wants it documented.

started 8 days after injection, using Hydrocortisone 1% creme over site. took benedryl @ bed time, the rash extinds approximally 3" down & 2" wide down my arm arm is still red & hard as I write this.

Developed fever up to 99, severe aching in all joints, headache, chills, loss of taste, injection site in arm sore. Felt fine evening of 2/2/21 (date of injection) and awoke 0500 2/03/21 with symptoms listed here. Fever broke about midnight of 2/3/21 and only mild headache and feeling of fatigue next 2 days and then all symptoms completely disappeared.

Initially sore at injection site, slight redness, Ten days late red area is larger (about 3 inches across), slightly itchy, slighly sore and warmer to the touch than surrounding area.

Arm was sore day after shot and remained so....then last night it started itching and there was a slight rash above. It is now aching enough that I have tried putting ice on it and taking Tylenol and Advil. It is somewhat swollen and red with slight rash. Red at the spot of injection. It did bleed when shot was given. I would have thought by now it should be clear.

Pt developed a rash on the right deltoid area approx. 5 days after the vaccine administered. She also complained it was itchy and tender. The initial sore arm resolved two days after the vaccine but this started later. She has chronic HTN and her BP at the clinic was 148/100 which she reports is her normal. She had no other signs or symptoms. The arm was red with a raised rash, tender at the site and warm to the touch. Concern for cellulitis so given Keflex 250 mg QID for 7 days. Advised to report the information to her PCP.

The following day after my injection, I had bright RED hives all over my body except for my face and hands. It was very uncomfortable. I tried to calm my skin with lotions. As the days progressed, the color receded and all of my skin started to peel. It was terrib ly itchy and difficult to wear clothing. It took about a week for it to calm down, and the peeling continued for another week.

Patient said the day of the vaccination she developed a red patch about 1/2 inch in diameter that was red and swollen and a little tender. Patient reported that it was periodically itchy and she has been scratching it. She stated that yesterday (day 9 after vaccination) that she noticed the size of the redness had increased. She said it was still periodically itchy and only slightly tender to the touch. She said she felt otherwise fine no systemic effects reported. Patient had not taken anything. Recommended benadryl and icing the area. Treatment outcome unknown at this time.

Sore injection site first two days (slight difficulty laying on that side), then Day 9 developed a rash and itching close to injection site, Day 11 noticed swelling on the upper arm and tenderness in armpit; Day 13 rash about doubled in size and some itching returned Applied Cortizone-10 to relieve itching - it helped

Extreme ache, pain and stiffness in left arm, from elbow up into neck and shoulder area. This began on Day 8 after receiving vaccine and has continued through today - 10 days after vaccine 2 Arthritis Tylenol 650 mg

Pt received vaccine on 2/11/21. She reported onset of redness (approx. 5-6" diameter) and itching at the site on 2/17/21. She was seen by a dermatologist on 2/19/21 and was diagnosed with cellulitis and started on a five day course of cephalexin. Pt reports redness and itching is resolving and that no further follow up is necessary.

Delayed reaction -- EIGHT DAYS AFTER my innoculation, I developed some swelling and itching in my upper left arm around the injection site. The area is oval shaped, about 2 by 3 inches, and the skin is pink. The swelling and itching have abated somewhat in the last 36 hours but not disappeared completely. I have twice applied ice to the area briefly, but have taken nothing else for the swelling and itching. I had no other reaction to the shot except slight soreness only the day after the shot. I find it strange that this swelling & itching arose so much later (8 days).

On Feb. 13th, I had a red spotty rash on my upper chest and breasts. It is still spreading all over my body.

2-3 days after the vaccine patient broke out in shingles on right arm (same as vaccination site) from shoulder to right thumb

2/02/2021 developed shingles ( herpes roster) first time in my life. Severe pain, red bumps on right back and front

Patient developed right facial zoster following her first dose of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine. She was placed on valacyclovir and gabapentin. She was seen by Ophthalmology due to eyelid involvement and double vision. She was immunized 20 JAN and developed zoster 06FEB.

Apparent COVID Arm: Large red blotchy patch (3 inches in diameter) at the site of the injection that appeared approximately 9 days after first dose shot. Extremely itchy!! Applied cortisone ointment to the area 2-3 times a day for approximately 3 days. Saw personal physician on 2/16/21 to discuss my reaction and to confirm that there was no need for concern and it would be safe to receive my second dose. As of this reporting, my arm has cleared up completely and I am no longer experiencing any itch or pain. At the time of the injection, I experienced pain as the vaccine was being administered and subsequently a very painful arm for approximately a week and a half.

Caller stated that she received her vaccine on 02/20/21 and the next day the injection site became red and oval in shape measuring 1x4 inches, not sore or discomfort of any nature. Then today 02/23/2021 the redness extended to the rest of the arm and still no discofort of any nature. Patient asked to follow up with her PCP for further evaluation.

Left arm began to itch and ache at injection site. Symptoms were mild. I rubbed with hydrocortisone creme that night and the next morning. It seemed to help and the itching and aching decreased through the day.

This patient received dose one of Moderna covid19 vaccine on 2/10/21 at 110pm. At 330pm pt c/o sharp abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. She developed a rash to left deltoid area on 2/12/21. She continued to have these s/s. She was evaluated at Clinic by Dr on 2/16/21. He increased her Nexium to 40mg twice daily. Upon TC to patient on 2/23/21 she relates still having nausea, diarrhea, and occasional sharp abdominal pains.

Rash and welts on arm that appeared 8 days later at injection site- 4 were raised about 1/2 inch, hot and itchy.

Upper arm around injection site, 2-3 inch radius, erythema, pruritus, raised rash somewhat rough to the touch. Benadryl at night to treat symptoms, helped with pruritus overnight. Rash lasted about 10 days, pruritus lasted 2-3 days.

Pt experienced redness and warmth around the injection site the night she received the vaccine 2/11/21. It lasted for about 3-4 days, then went away. The redness and warmth returned ~2/20/21, along with some achiness. On 2/23/21, she experienced some itching, but that has gone away. Pt has not experienced any signs of anaphylaxis.

2/11 -13/21 Sore arm first 2 days. Then I felt fine with no effects until the following week. On 2/18 my arm begin to itch at site of injection. 2/21 itching subsided but I noticed a red circular area around injection site. The area also feels warm. I feel okay physically. Today 2/24, the red circular area is still present.

pt stated the next day after getting the 2nd dose of the covid vax, she had chills, slight fever, body aches and slightly nauseated. On 2/12/2021 she felt better, no fever, but noticed she had developed a slight rash around the injection site. On 2/14/2021 she noticed some red streaks moving down her left breast that disappeared fairly quickly. She had an apt w/ her Dermatologist on 2/15/2021 and the pt had a slight rash on her left arm. On 2/16/2021 she noticed she had a 'covid arm' rash that covered 3/4 of her left upper arm. On 2/18/2021 the rash was still noticeable and was itching so she took a Benadryl and then again on the 2/19/2021. She saw her Dermatologist again on 2/24/2021, her rash is less red and seems to be disappearing.

day 1-3: take 4 Advil for pain for one day day 4-6: start swell ( red) and itch. Use ice pack day 7: minimum pain and itch remain. Much less adverse events than first time. One week after vaccine, I have no problem to do house work.

Patient developed a rash on both feet day after vaccination. Rash resolved with hydrocortisone 2.5% cream, Benadryl, and Allegra after 3 days.

The day of the vaccine she had no problems. Then 9 days later on 2/20/21, her arm started itching, she scratched it, it swelled up, hot to the touch and sore. It is getting better, but still has some color in it, reddish, and does not itch as bad. It looks like the picture on the website. She took some Tylenol, but nothing else.

Soreness, red swelling--growing from 3"x3-1/2" red raised spot hot to touch to 3" x 5" raised red spot hot to touch.

I woke up Friday 2/12 morning very dizzy. The dizziness subsided. Later Friday afternoon, I had severe dizziness and was vomiting when I got up. I went to Clinic Saturday 2/13, for being unbalanced and weak, but not so dizzy. Sunday 2/14 I was extremely weak with low blood pressure and fast heart rate. Monday 2/15, in the morning, my left arm started hurting, swelling, was feverish, red, itchy and I had a rash at the injection site. I went to my doctor on 2/19 and he stated that maybe I should not get the 2nd vaccine shot. He stated that he was not certain that everything that happened was a result of the vaccine, but that he couldn't say that it wasn't.

Complaint of itching rash around injection site and along left upper extremity. Occurred within 24 hours post injection and continues to date.

Injection site swollen and hot to touch even 2 weeks after shot. Today 13 days after shot both arms itching

Initially, itching at injection site. Five hours later, swelling at injection site with itching spreading down arm to above elbow. Difficulty sleeping. Next day, lethargic with other symptoms continuing. Next day, swelling decreasing but itching continuing. Noticed a small cyst in upper arm the size of a small pea. Energy has returned.

Patient presented to the ER ON 2/25/21 with symptoms of elevated blood pressure, severe lymph node swelling in her left axillary region and on her left shoulder. It was determined she also had cellulitis of the left shoulder. She was started on antibiotics.

On February 14, I had used the handlebar rotation exercise of a stationery bike for 5 minutes. The next day I noticed a large swelling about the size of half a pear on the muscle where my Moderna injection was done. It was as hard as a nut, red, and warm and itchy with a red rash around it. I saw an urgent care medical person and was told it was probably a reaction to the exercise and that sometimes that happens after an injection. I was told to use cold compresses, hydrocortison cream, and rest it. I did this, for 5 days, but though the swelling subsided, the rash continued to move around and down my arm. I went back to urgent care on February 19 and was told that it looked better. I was offered prednazone for it, but declined since I was still on Budesonide . I was told it would probably clear up over the weekend. On February 22 it hadn't cleared up so I saw a PC. She noted the rash had spread, but swelling had gone down. She checked my lymph node under my left arm and noticed it was swollen. She said it was most likely due to a mild infection in the arm where I had received the vaccination. She prescribed a Zpack and after 2 days, all symptoms were gone and I felt so much better. This event happened 10 days after my vaccination.

Patient experienced razor-burn like rash all over her body, except the face. She has been drinking lots of water to help with the symptoms but no help. Patient also experiencing burning sensation in throat area. She called her doctor to get medication to help treat symptoms and tried Prednisone 10mg three times per day for 5 days, but is still experiencing adverse effect.

After 10 days, noticed a large reddened area; painful; tenderness; heat; itchy; off-centered from injection hole in deltoid muscle; and swollen lymph nodes; with difficulty swallowing. This lasted for 2 days. Now on 14 days post first injection, site is still slightly red. No treatment was necessary

Covid arm. Very red, extremely itchy and hot to the touch. Appeared at injection site 6 days after first vaccine and started to subside after 3 days.

Initial day not problematic. On the 8th day I developed a 2 inch oval spot of redness at the injection site, plus heat and itching , swellling and soreness. This all dissapated after 4 more days.

The same night after receiving the vaccine, my arm starting swelling, itching. The next morning I woke up and the rash was there, and spread over the different areas of body. I was sweating bad, muscle pain, joint pain, and nauseated for about 3 days. I had knots in my arms. I went to the doctor last week, and she gave me a shot in the hip, it helped with the swelling. Then I called her back and she called in a cream for me. The other symptom remaining is the rash at the injection site, I have been putting the cream on it twice a day, taking Benadryl and Tylenol for pain

4 days after vaccination developed rash that spread from upper extremities through chest and abdomen and to lower extremities. Was very itchy and took Benadryl and s/s resolved after 3-4 days.

February 23 large left axillary lymph node. February 24 rash to left deltoid area at site of vaccination. February 26 supra clavicular and anterior cervical lymph node. February 23 through February 28 left posterior shoulder and scapular pain.

2-3 days after 2nd Moderna vaccination a 10 inch area around injection site swelled and became hot, painful and hard, and a large bright red rash appeared . It persists without improvement today. I also had pain in the joints in my feet and ankles, hands. Some fatigue. No fever, no chills. I had NO reaction after 1st vaccination, although injection site was hot and very tender for days. Used left arm both times. I saw an online photo of "COVID arm" hypersensitivity reaction and looks exactly like mine. Really quite uncomfortable.

Afternoon on the day of vaccination patient felt a little weak and c/o mild pain at the injection site. Next morning after around 11 am patient started to vomit almost a lot, her fever went up to around 38.5C auxiliary, she reported extreme weakness and shakiness, her blood pressure also increased to 160s/high 90s, she complained of extreme shortness of breath. Elevated BP could be related to the fact that she was vomiting so much, she had hard time taking her scheduled medications, included BP medications. This lasted for 3 days. Patient was taking Ondasentron and that was only reliving nausea for 2 to 3 hours. She was taking Tylenol to bring her fever down. 650 mg Tylenol was only lowering temp to about 37.8. For about 72 hours she was complaining of extreme generalized pain and weakness and had very hard time getting up to go the bathroom. She started to fill a little better on March 27, 2021. Shortness of breath disappeared in the morning. Temperature fell to 37.1C. She stopped vomiting and was able to eat. Generalized weakness and shakiness persisted till March 2, 2021. At the moment of submitting this report, patient is still reporting that she does not feel that she is "100% back to normal"

15 HOURS AFTER INJECTION: body ached all over. Body aches lasted for about 12 hours. 48 HOURS AFTER INJECTION: The area below the injection site, on the outside of the right arm, was red and slightly swollen. It was hot, and ached. The ache was stronger under pressure. I have never reacted to an injection like that before. MY IDIOT WORRY: Did the entire dose of vaccine pool below the injection site and thus got nowhere to the rest of my body to do any good? However, the same thing happened to a friend of the same age.

Having itching red swallowed arm cant stop itching to the point i want to take my skin off.. took so many antihistamines, rash medication nothing is calming it down... my both arms are having fever it's red and sever discomfort.... it's been over a week I still have the same symptoms

18 days post injection I had severe pain in right shoulder and under scapular. pain level 9. This continued for a few days. Made appointment with my MD. Day 4 of pain a large painful rash appeared on my R upper back, under the arm and upper chest. ( Quite sure it was shingles. Started on Famciclovir 500mg. and tramadol 50mg. Had severe case of shingles with fatigue and excruiciating pain. My MD stated he has seen a number of patients post vaccine with shingles. Was scheduled for second vaccine on February 16th. The pharmacist at the vaccine center would not approve booster, stating my immune system is already stressed. My primary also recommeded no booster at this time.

From Dr. notes from the patient's visit to the office on 02/08/2021: "*ACUTE CELLULITIS OF THE RIGHT UPPER ARM--I do believe that this is a result of the injection and not due to the vaccine itself. The fact that he continues to have some slight growth does necessitate that we treat this with an antibiotic. I am what have you TAKE TMP-SMX DS 1 tablet twice per day for 7 days. Elevate this arm and keep moist heat to this area and it should improve quickly. Call me if there is any worsening. I will CHECK COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT TODAY to evaluate this more fully." Also from Dr. notes from the patient's visit to the office on 02/08/2021: "This fine lady comes in today stating that she received the CoVid 19 Moderna vaccine with the first dose on 2/2/21. The patient previously had a moderately severe case of CoVid 19 in late September and early October. She states that the vaccine did cause her to have severe chills for 2 days and then she started to develop an area of erythema near the injection site and this continued to progress. She called me on Friday in regards to this and then on Saturday it had continued to grow. We did have her husband demarcate the borders of the erythema and today it seems like she has had another further growth of an inch or so in most directions. The patient has a little tingling in this area but really has no significant pains and she denies any fevers since she had fever on Thursday night and Friday with a temperature of 102."

After receiving the 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on 03/02/2021, the patient states today that she had chills yesterday starting in the morning. She said she has no chills this morning. She states that her arm where she received the 2nd dose of COVID-19 (left deltoid) is pink, warm to the touch (can feel warmth through clothes), and tender to the touch. She said her husband will use a marker to mark the borders of the area of concern on that arm to see if the borders change with time. I notified Dr. of this information. I notified her that Dr. recommends she place heat on that area of her arm and to call us if any further symptoms develop. She also said she will notify us if she develops a fever 03/04/2021.

Developed an itchy rash at the site of the injection. The rash became very red, itchy and felt tight and uncomfortable. The rash lasted for about 4 days and was completely gone by day 5.

In the evening lots of pain in left arm. during night chills including teeth chattering, pain all over, no sleep but slept through most of the next day, ate nothing. Was quite concerning but did not call doctor although I sure thought about it. I was wondering if I was actually infected with Covid- 19. Shot was Tuesday 2: 30 PM, felt a bit better by Thursday but arm still hurt even on Friday arm was red and swollen down to my elbow. Saturday fine. I thought someone should know about this as lost of my friends also had difficult reactions. But this was the first time I saw an opportunity to respond.

Arm rash plus hard lump just below the injection site. Rash started six or seven days after the injection and lasted 5 or 6 days. Itchy entire time.

Over the course of five or six days: headache, severe body aches, chills, loss of appetite, swelling, pain and redness at the injection site, brain fog, unable to complete/execute daily chores. Weakness.

Sore upper arm, on day 8 arm became red, warm and hard . In following days redness spread out to almost elbow and shoulder. Treated with cephalexin. Now is resolved.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA 02/18/21 - achy back and neck (beyond ?normal? for me) - left arm sore 3/10 - pink rash near injection site - temp: 100.3 (normal 98 or below); Tylenol was not strong enough to relieve discomfort - took Aleve; improved on Friday 02/19/21; much better on Saturday 02/20/21; back to my ?normal? Sunday 02/21/21

Injection site swollen,4? Diameter, red..itchy..mildly painful,warm to the touch..some discomfort down arm to elbow 10 days later and no better

On the 9th day (Fri., 2/19) after my shot I developed a very intense rash all over my stomach, and on the underside of my breasts. It was very itchy. I considered the possibility that it was the seafood soup I had eaten, but all day I also had very bad pains in my lower back, left hip, and left knee. I had knee surgery in August, but this pain was much worse than I'd had in months. The pain and rash continued thru the next day Sat., 2/20. Then on Sunday the pain was completely gone, and the rash started to subside. Then the following weekend (2/27 and 2/28) the rash had a mild flare-up, and there's mild itching off and on since them.

About 24 hours after first dose, patient reports that both her knees were red and itchy. The next day, the knees were normal. Also, patient reported that 9 days after first dose, the injection site on her arm had become itchy, red and warm.

Awoke with red raised itchy rash around vaccination site on L arm. Hydrocortisone ointment. Day 2 no change

Three days after second vaccination developed red, itchy rash covering large portion of outer upper arm,. Was swollen. Also, diarrhea that day. Later in day of shot was fatigued, during night chills and severe muscle aches. Aches and low fever the next day.

Patient had intermittent, internal burning near cancer site treatment scar from day of vaccination for 2 days. 3/3 - 3/5.

Chills, low grade fever, slight nausea, headache, body aches, fatigue. Fatigue lasted approximately 1 week; other side effects about 3 days. 2 days after injection, had a 3 by 6 inch red raised itchy welt appear about 2 inches from injection site. Gradually faded over a one week period. I had an allergy injection 2 weeks prior to Covid vaccine. Contacted allergy doctor and we agreed to postpone next allergy injection until after second Moderna vaccine, in case there was a connection.

Aside from the expected sore right arm, I developed painful welling of underarm glands (right side) which I've NEVER had before even as a child; also developed itching and some redness and swelling at injection site,. These occurred in late afternoon on 3/5/2021 - a day after 2nd Moderna vaccine injection. I also developed a low fever for part of the same afternoon (3/5) into early eve. I also had some ache in center chest (gone now) which I never had before (angina?). It is now 3/6/2021 and I still have swollen underarm glands (right arm), right arm soreness at injection site, and some itching there as well. But no fever just now. I'm VERY CONCERNED the swollen glands will not go away in time for my aortic valve replacement surgery on 3/15/2021.

2 am (13 hrs after shot) the following day, i awoke with intermittent shooting type pain down my arm into my finger tips and a sore upper arm at injection site. 1:30 pm (24 hrs after shot) i had a bad headache and queasy stomach, approximately 1/2 hr later had the chills and a fever of 99.8. I slept for approximately 3 1/2 hrs. Upon awakening I still had chills but no fever 98.8 and all my joints ached. 6 pm I took 2 Ibuprofen and by 7:30pm I had warmed up but was extremely tired. 10 pm I took 2 more Ibuprofen and went to bed. I slept until 7 am and feel wonderful. My arm is a little tender yet but no trouble using it.

Large tender bruise at site of injection, raised and pink, then very dark coloring. Tender to the touch, soreness when using the arm.

Severe itching and rash over legs, arms, hands, feet, buttocks. Treating with Benadryl OTC. Continuing to itch.

Patient received vaccine on 2/19/2021. On approximately 3/3/2021 patient developed redness( size of a palm) , swelling , pain. and itching

With initial shot, blood rolled down my arm to my elbow. I iced my arm every two hours for 15 minutes 4 times. Arm turned red at injection point and almost all the way around my arm on the first day. Huge bruise above the injection point also appeared the first day. Arm is sore but flexible. Redness is still there. This is the fourth day.

Chills first 1 hr., body aches 8-9 hrs, nausea 1- 1-1/2 hrs., sinus drainage 2 hrs. ( had to sit up to keep from going to stomach), headache front and back. After 5-6 hours took Tylenol (no effect). Body aches start lessening about 7-71/2 hrs. Second Tylenol. Took excederin for headache after 10-11 hrs. And headaches ended after 12 hrs. Still didn?t feel good all day but couldn?t sleep. Second day softer shot not feeling well - stomach ache all day and belching all day. Next 5 days feeling ok, but not bad to normal. Did have injection sight soreness and mild itching for 9 days.

Left arm swollen from injection to below elbow...itching - red ...having difficulty using my fingers

The patient developed severe arm pain, redness and swelling one week after the vaccine. She was treated with benadryl and steroid. Since that time she has continued with some arm pain, had new onset pain in her espohagus, rash and diarrhea.

Blurred vision, eyes crossed, Face swelled, Face broke out with rash, Headache, Nauseous, All happened within 30 minutes. Next day backaches and feeling tired. Dr. gave me Pepcid and Xyzal. Most all thru Sunday, Still not 100%.

Black and blue spot where vaccine was given. After several days a red baseball size red spot appeared and grew in size to almost double. The spot was hot to the touch and was somewhat itchy.

Around midnight after going to bed, I started shivering with a temperature. Lasted an hour or so before I got to sleep and was later okay. Now just a sore, red, swollen injection site.

she had delayed rash, redness, swelling, and itching. it took several weeks for this to subside. started ~ 8 days after first vaccine near injection site.

Pt. reports Sat. night developed chills, was dizzy and vision was "bad, like my eyes were tired and had trouble focusing them and just wanted to go to bed", Reports woke up with same symptoms and also had some confusion and had red swollen hard area on L arm were vaccine was given and it is still red and swollen today.

Three days after vaccination I developed a red, itchy rash which was hot to touch on my upper left arm. It proceeded to increase in size and intensity for three more days before I started taking Benadryl. At its peak it covered almost my total upper arm and extended laterally about 2-3 inches.

On 01/21/2021 had Covid 19 Vaccine shot #1 in right arm. About seven days later got rash around shot site but went away in a our four days.

Patient has sores and rash covering legs and left wrist, was just prescribed prednisone on 3/9, waiting to see if it helps

Two red areas on left shoulder appeared 12 days after the first vaccination. (One oval area was at shot site about 1 inch by 2 inches. Second area was below the first area and in the shape of a band around my arm 1 inch wide by 4 inches long . Treatment was Benadryl ointment on red areas and baby aspirin Also, I had headaches almost daily until the red areas appeared.

Sudden significant nausea 7 hours after vaccine. Lasted an hour. Suddenly went away. Muscle and body aches and headaches, beginning about 5 hours after vaccine, lasting for 60 hours. Swollen lymph glands in neck and under jaw on both sides, 26 hours after vaccine. Significant fatigue, beginning about 6 hours after vaccine, ongoing at hour 52. LARGE RED HARD BLOTCH on vaccinated arm, one inch+ UNDER the vaccine site (which still has bandage on it), TENDER, ITCHY, ABOUT 32 HOURS AFTER VACCINE. ONGOING, although the hardness is decreasing, and the redness isn't as angry at hour 52.

?Patient came to pharmacy to get her 2nd dose of Moderna vaccine. During screening process patient disclosed she had injection site reaction on left arm including rash, redness, itching and swelling on her arm that had resolved. She also disclosed a similar area occurred occured on right side of abdomen that has somewhat resolved; however she still has sporadic occurences of redness and itching. Due to the patients reported adverse event; patient was advised to hold therapy of 2nd dose of Moderna vaccine; and if she needed to continue therapy the 2nd dose should be given under medical supervision.

Initial redness and discomfort in arm. Two days afterward, runny nose and temperature to 100.3. Extremely red rash on arm, measuring approximately 4 and 1/2 x 5 inches. Had eye surgery today and the nurses strongly encouraged me to report the rash.

Patient took benadryl cream along with antihistamine she usually takes.Continue using cream for symptomatic relief, if symptoms worsen feel free to call back or see your PCP. Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA. Had a mild breakout of shingles three days after the vaccine. Not my first bout of shingles and I've had the shingles shot.

Injection arm swelled up around 7th/8th day and lasted for an additional week. Swollen arm, itchy redness and it kept traveling down my arm. Went to my primary doctor around 3/4 day and he prescribed Keflex which I took for 7 days. Petrified to get my second dose on 3/13/21 (tomorrow).

On March 9, I noticed some discomfort in my left arm. Upon examination, I observed swelling in my left arm around the injection site. There was also redness around the site measuring 4 1/2? long and 3 1/2? wide. It was warm to the touch. I applied ice to the area and took a Benadryl capsule. The ice brought down the swelling and the redness did lighten some. Today I still feel some discomfort in the shoulder, the swelling is gone, and the redness, although lighter, has increased in size to 5 1/2? long.

At the injection site I had a brief pain from the needle and was fine for a week. on 03/05 It started to itch and it was red and swollen about 4 inches by 2 inches. warm to the touch.I had cortisone shots in my knee that day and I am not sure if that was the cause or if it was the covid shot.

It started out as itching, next morning I had a big red blotch on my left elbow which lasted 2 days then the next day another one came up under my left arm, then has continued on other parts of my body. I still have a big red plkace where I got the shot and a little white place in the center. I have been taking Benadryl which probably has help me from getting more. My doctor told me to take that. Then I have days that I getting itching spells over my body.

Eight days after injection, my arm had a hard red rash about the size of a 4 x 4 inches. Itched bad. I put Benadryl spray on the place as well as Benadrly by mouth. Next day the rash went all the way to the elbow and was swollen. Today at 11 days it is still red but doesn't itch as much. It seems to be getting better.

March 11, at about an early 9 pm bedtime, heaviness in left shoulder, soon into both shoulders, and mild, intermittent ache in other limbs. Thereafter, through the night, a feeling of fever, back & forth: skin hot, then normal feeling. Some chills. Took my temperature several times and would only get a normal reading. Puzzled, because I thought I must have a fever.....the STRANGENESS of this was that my skin felt like it was BURNING UNDERNEATH my skin....not like any fever I might have ever had. Still normal temp readings. The next day...mostly in bed, tired, no appetite, continued fever feeling, but no fever temp reading. The second day, up and around, eating.

Erythematous macular mildly pruritic rash 3.5 x 3.5 inches, still mildly evident at time of second injection

Moderna covid-19 VACCINE EUA administered on 3-11-21. The rash first appeared on 3-18-21 Raised red, itchy, bumpy rash at site of injection (muscle of upper left arm). Appeared yesterday, one week after vaccination. This appeared after swollen, painful symptoms of vaccination had been gone for a few days. It is in roughly the same area as the original swelling.

@nd shot of Moderna on 03/10/2021. Next day 03/11/2021 left arm at injection site red, swollen pain full and extreme itchy all at same time. Pain lasted four days, red swollen rash was extremely itchy for seven days. Red and discolored blotches still on left arm injection site after nine days and still slightly itchy.

1st Day after injection ran a lower grade fever (100.2), injection site itching & turning red with moderate pain . Started taking Benedryl 10 mg and applying 1% cortisone creme ,I buprophen. Day 2 red rash spreading down arm 5" and about 4" wide. No fever but site still itiching & tender. Continued to treat the discomfort. The red rash finally fade after 9 days (3/19/2021). I had delayed reaction to the first injection of Moderna that did not start until 8 days post injection. Not as sever as the second one.

Developed a reddish pink rash that lasted about 3 days and itched really bad. Left a slight soreness for a couple days after.

I experienced itchiness on my right arm during the first week after my second shot but did not look to see if there was the large red area that is pictured online. However, on the eighth day, I reached over to touché my arm and felt many bumps. I looked in the mirror at my right arm and saw a rash consisting of many large, red bumps. They did not hurt, they were not itchy. They have been very slow to resolve. Now, after eight days, the bumps while still visible are finally beginning to fade. I have daily photographs of my rash if you?d like to see them.

02/25 I had my first dose- within the 15 minutes after I felt dizzy and lightheaded. it subsided enough for me to drive home. My physical therapist said it was due to the injection being too high. 03/25- halfway home I had a significant headache. It diminished but I then got very very sleepy. I napped and then made dinner. 03/26 I was doing normal things and I felt cold, then my hands were very cold. I ate lunch but was very sleepy just before lunch. I then had a fever, My temp is 101.1. I have had a little drainage from one side of my nose.

Itchiness, redness, swelling around the area of the injection in the right arm. It started 26 hours after the 2nd dose of moderna injection was given. I also had fever and body pain / aches within 12 hours of the 2nd dose of Moderna vaccine. Incidentally, I also had fever, chills, body pain / aches after the 1st dose of the moderna vaccine in late February. At that time, I did not have such a rash/redness/swelling etc.

Got the vaccine, had no reactions. Then on 3/8/21 woke up with a stiff neck, muscle cramps and then broke out into a rash. She went to her PCP, and it had just come out and was right where you would wear a necklace and diagnosed her with an allergy, but did not take the medicine he prescribed as she felt his diagnosis was wrong. A couple of days later it was hurting and bother her and went to a dermatologist who diagnosed her with shingles which came out on her neck and her shoulder, and typical shingles reactions with stinging, hurting, itching, etc. Her dermatologist put you on Acyclovir, which is helping a lot, fading reaction, and help with the pain. She does still have some sensitivity around her neck but the rash is fading. She also had pains in her ears at the same time.

Swelling and hard "knot" at the injection site that hasn't gone away yet, but is subsiding slightly. Large red spot - oval - approximately 2" x 3" that is just today lessening in intensity.

With the first dose about 12 hours later I experienced some numbness of my face. The next day I had a measles-like rash which went away in a few hours. Pain in my arm went away in 2 days. With the second dose on the third day after the injection I developed severe itching and noticed a red spreading rash in the area of the injection, just a little below the injection site. This is very red, sore and feels somewhat warm to the touch. The area is about 5 inches in size and is still painful. I have also noticed some shortness of breath but minor. Some numbness and itching around my face.

The next day, I felt light headed and very tired. I felt that way for about three weeks. I had loose stool for those three weeks - it wasn't diarrhea but loose stool. And then 11 days after vaccine, I had a rash on my thighs and my lower torso. And that rash lasted for four days and it went away. Rash looked like measles or chicken pox - red dots. I went to the dermatologist as I have never had a rash in my life. Dermatologist did a Biopsy. The rash lasted for four days and cleared up.

FIne, itchy rash, like measles with welts. Rash from neck to knees, lasting several days. Applied tea tree oil spray and lotion . This provided good relief.

She got the vaccine, did have pain at the site and thinks it was the first day at the end of the day. When she laid down she could feel it and also on the 2nd day at night. On 01 Mar 2021, the patient experienced fast heart palpitations, bad headache, felt like she almost passed away which was a serious condition and considered as medically significant. Slept all next day more than usual and had chills, pain in her left jaw, little bit nauseous, itchy spot in the injection arm, diarrhea, feels tired. On an unknown date patient experienced brain fog. On 01 mar 2021, blood pressure was raised to 199/120, cardiac stress test as normal and low pulse rate. No treatment information was provided. Woke up in middle of night to use bathroom. Experienced severe dizziness, felt like brain was sloshing around inside my skull. Had trouble keeping balance. Returned to bed, slept, experienced same dizziness in the morning when I woke up. Felt better after having breakfast but very tired throughout day. I took it easy and dizziness cleared up about mid day. fortunately my husband was here to help. I would have gone to clinic if symptoms had continued. It is now 4/3/21 and I am not experiencing anything but slightly sore arm where vaccination was.

annular shaped erythimic 2inches in length, one inch other way, very pink with white centers slightly raised scattered about from knees to right below the breast, no itching, no drainage, they are just beginning to go away. some were larger than others when one actually went away the skin broke, very dry as if you had a sunburn and it was peeling

76-year-old female presents to the emergency department complaints of a rash. The rash is red, seems to be worsening daily, very painful, constant. She has been taking prednisone, that does not seem to help. She developed a rash after the initial Moderna COVID immunization, and then it went away. When she got her she 2nd immunization on 03/27, a couple days later she developed the same type of rash, only significantly worse. She denies any difficulty with breathing, swelling of the tongue. There is no rash throughout the rest the body, she did get the shot in the left shoulder. She has not had any fevers. No difficulty breathing. this rash is consistent with that of shingles. It occurred on the left shoulder, where the COVID vaccine was given. She initially developed a rash after the 1st 1, then again after the 2nd shot. This has pain consistent with that of shingles. Unlikely allergic reaction, but possible. She is currently on prednisone she will continue that. She was given acyclovir and gabapentin. One dose was given here in the ER. No swelling of the tongue, no evidence of anaphylaxis. The rash does not go beyond the left shoulder region. Patient appears otherwise stable, normal vital signs besides hypertension. The primary encounter diagnosis was Herpes zoster without complication. A diagnosis of Rash was also pertinent to this visit.

RASH SHOWD UP 3/28/2021 STARTING ON MY LOWER STOMACH AND HAS SINCE SPREAD FROM GROIN AREA TO SHOULDERS BOTH FRONT AND BACK. SOME ON PALM OF HANDS AND IN SIDE ARMS AT ELBOW BEND. 4/5/2021 WENT TO DOCTOR AND SHE PUT ME ON PREDNISONE FOR 2 WEEKS. SHE IS NOT SURE OF CAUSE.

All the normal side effects, and 3 electrical charges to my body muscles that were shocking and a swelling and rash around my injection site.

Swelling in bottom and top lips, tongue, throat, knots on head, welts on both sides of abdomen, tonsils starting around March 21. Had to go to urgent care on March 28. Strange headache on left side. 1st day slight feeling in shoulder. April 6 approx 10 AM my shoulder started to hurt. Over that day and the next week, sight began to swell, get hard, feel warm. The size of the swelling was between a baseball and a softball that was cut in half. It became itchy and turned red. These symptoms continue to this day. Tho the swelling is less and the warmth is diminishing as is the red. My temp was taken during this time. It was and remains normal

Pt called and said that she has a large red, itchy rash that didn't appear until 3 days after the vaccine.

Chart notes written on 4/16/2021: Patientis presenting for having muscle aches and back pain since she received the 1st Moderna vaccine on 03/26/2021. The patient states that her arm started hurting right after she got the vaccine but just over the past couple weeks it has gotten worse. It is red under her arm and not by the injection site. Her whole body has been achy since the injection. On Monday of this week she developed 3 areas of red itching round patches. She denies any other causes for the hives. She has been taking some tylenol for the muscle aches and this seems to help a little.

One week after the shot I woke up and my right arm was red hot swollen and itchy. It was my whole upper arm from shoulder to elbow. I went to my doctor and she marked it and advised Benadryl. It took another week for the swelling to go away. I got the second shot in the other arm and I did get a swollen area that was much smaller.

on post vaccine day #9 pt developed light bruising r antecubital [vaccine was l deltoid] and knots. she has had ongoing mild nontraumatic bruising here and sq nodular lesions ? clot. pt also has had generalized malaise and some mild shortness of breath with this and has generally felt sick.

Patient reports swelling and stinging pain at the injection site that has been spreading down her arm. Site of swelling had a red outline. Patient was instructed to take Benadryl and contact primary care provider who ruled out infection. Patient was instructed to contact doctor and pharmacy if it does not go away/gets worse.

Fever was the main thing. I developed a rash on the arm - on the left arm - on the 19th of January with a fever. Doctor's visit on 21st. Treatment was ice. The fever went away. The rash was all the way down to my elbow and it lasted four days- through the weekend. It itchy and hot.

76 year old female received the 2nd dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at Church on 05/14/2021 @ 09:15. Same day 05/14/2021 pt started experiencing errythema and site of injection was warm to touch. On 05/20/2021 pt started experiencing pruritus at the site of injection. On 05/21/2021 pt noticed a pimple at the site of injection and discoloration of the injection site from red into a more blue color. Pt placed peroxide and neosporin on injection site on 05/22/2021. Pt denies any allergies. Pt takes Levothyroxine and multivitamins. Pt is diagnosed with hypothyroidism. Pt was advised to make an appointment with doctor to have the injection site physically examined.

To begin, I cannot sit or rise easily because I do not seem to have the use of my legs. I have to push myself up with my arm when I am trying to stand. When I am standing and walking, I cannot straighten up completely and I seem to loose my balance. This problem seems to only be below the waist. The tops of my legs attaching to my buttocks are a constant soreness. Below my knee on the left side of my left leg, there is constant soreness. My legs are continually throbbing down to the ankles. Just now as I writing this sitting at the computer, my legs are throbbing. When I am lying in bed, there is constant throbbing and soreness. This morning when I awoke, it seemed as if there were needles pushing into my left heel while lying in bed. I have been taking a 500mg Tylenol in the a.m. and before going to bed but it doesn't give relief. This doesn't appear to be a problem with my joints but rather a stinging sensation in both legs. When I am driving, my right leg will begin to have a severe cramp which is very painful until I can stretch. I can bend over but with great difficulty. I cannot step up on a curb without great difficulty. I have a general overall feeling of weakness and instability. I did cease using pravastatin. I have been feeling these issues for about 1 month and they seem to worsen. My first Covid vaccine was January 25th. My second Covid vaccine was last Thursday, February 18th. A little less than 5 weeks after my last Moderna vaccination, I noticed irritation on scalp and doctor diagnosed Shingles on my scalp on April 2, 2021. Had Shingles 3-4 weeks. Even after no visible lesions or blisters, still have nerve issues.

The patient saw her primary care doctor in Februrary, but she states that she was not given any thing for the rash and was told by her doctor to monitor the rash. The patient saw Doctor again in May and was prescribed a cream for the rash, but the patient does not recall the name of the cream and there is no history of that prescription at our pharmacy. The patient reports that the cream did not help, so she saw her allergist in June. She saw Provider and was prescribed ketoconazole 2%.

Patient described onset as 6/10/2021 into 6/11/2021 - rash on stomach, back and neck; nausea; tiredness; and chills

On 04/01/21 patient presented to Emergency Department with altered mental status and fever. Husband stated that at baseline patient has no dementia and speaks and interacts normally. He stated they had their Covid vaccine on 03/31/21 in the morning (location of vaccine administration was not specified). He said beginning 04/01 in the morning she was not acting like normal self. She was not speaking as much as she normally does. He stated she did fall on 03/31, but does not believe she struck her head. He said her behavior was normal yesterday. She does not walk since a seizure 3 months ago. No shortness of breath or cough was reported. He stated her chest seemed red earlier but that has resolved. The patient was unable to give history and not responding to questions. Patient was admitted to hospital to monitor closely. On 04/02 patient was back to baseline and was discharged from the hospital.

Patient received the second moderna covid-19 vaccine on 4/1/21. 2 days later she developed a painful itchy rash at injection site that traveled down her whole arm to her hand. Over the next few days she began to feel dizzy and weak. She had an episode where she was parked in her driveway and felt she could not get out of the car due to feeling dizzy, weak, and faint. She was able to get out of her car and to her bed were she remained for the next 8 hours. She felt she could not get our of bed due to feeling so weak and faint and she feared she would fall. She woke up the next morning able to get out of bed. She then began to develop pain and weakness in both shoulders, both arms, both hands, both knees, and both ankles. We ordered blood test on 5/11/21 including a CBC, CMP, CRP, urinalysis, ESR Wes+Fer, Rheumatoid arthritis factor, and ANA all blood test came back within normal limits. Patient was seen in the office on 5/24/21 for a physical exam and was found to have loss of range on motion in both shoulders and arms, pain and swelling at both elbows, both hands, and both knees. Patient also complained of general weakness, fatigue and a fullness or swelling in both ankles. She has been doing physical therapy, is taking tylenol for the pain, and has been on 2 rounds of steroid medrol dose packs. Patients continues to suffer with weakness, fatigue, muscle, joint pain in whole body. We have also contacted the moderna company and was told they could not help us and hand no treatment or other advise for us. We have referred our patient to a Rheumatologist.

Within 15 mins after the vaccine, I felt weakness and weak in the knees and chills; it didn't feel flu-like though. and within the first few hours I had "Moderna arm" - right near the injection site - big red splotch and the arm was sore. The redness in the arm lasted a good week. It was a red blotch but not itchy or swollen. I didn't feel well for a few days after the vaccine. The symptoms came and went as far as how I felt - chills, weak, not feeling terrific for those first few days or so. A month after the second shot, I had a rash on my neck. It came and went - a little itchy and then not itchy. (This happened for a month.) And then at the same time, I felt the same original symptoms - chills and not feeling good. It lasted about three days - the chills and weakness. And then it went away. Even since, April, I get this periodically - I feel weak in the knees, I get the chills and I have to take a Tylenol or something. The middle of May, I was taking off my makeup and I felt a burning on my face (same stuff I've been using for 20 years on my face) red splotch from top of nose and all around and on cheekbones and down the face - it was puffy, swollen, red and caused bags under my eyes and redness under my eyes- and it still is. He gave me a cortisone lotion (my dermatologist) - It's not as red as it was but if I press on it the redness comes back. I have not changed anything with make-up; lotion or food. I have photos of it that I can send of my face. It's still here - maybe not as bright - and I'm not sure that I notice difference using the cortisone cream. It's been a good six weeks since it started on the face.

On 7/8/21, patient contacted the pharmacy to report that she experienced chills and swelling, itchiness, and muscle pain in both legs starting on 7/6/21, Tuesday night. She took Tylenol around 8pm, which helped. The next day the chills resolved, but she is still experiencing itchy and swollen legs. She tried Cortizone 10 cream and Bactine Max spray, but neither helped. She received her 2nd COVID-19 vaccine on 6/28/21, and she has experienced an allergic reaction when taking Tylenol previously.

In july 2021 I got the shingles, the pain felt like a short on the right and along the back of neck and on my shoulder like I got a shot on my right arm. It start on my back on the right and rubs and breast . I went to the urgent care twice

Beginning one month following vaccine I began having some pain at the injection site, lasting for 2-3 days, I had the second injection given in my right arm, the following month and each month following and including 07/27/2021 I have had pain at the injection site lasting for 2-3 days.None

Patient woke up 1/3/21 with a sore mouth that burns and has skin peeling inside. Patient tried to do a hydrogen peroxide oral rinse that worsened the pain. Patient woke up at 2:00 am 1/4/21 with worsening pain and bigger rash inside of mouth.

12 hours after receiving vaccination, became "delirious" temp rose to 103.+ with chills malaise, joint pain, "head hurt worse than did during active Covid + HA lasted 2 days". Temp gradually decreased to 100 over 2 days. Injection site had "fever" for 3 days still sore 5 days later PCP ordered prednisone and z-pak for symptoms

The resident has redness and warmth on her LUA from her covid vaccination. The resident states she has a headache and some wheezing. New order received for Benadryl 25 mg po now and in 6 hours then PRN q6h x 3 days.

About 4 hours after vaccination, I started with itchy eyes, then mild swelling of upper and lower eyelids, which lasted about 2 hours. I also experienced itching of head, face, neck, upper trunk and arms from about 1:30 pm, for 4 or 5 hours, without any visible rash.

Approximately 4 days after vaccine a large red area appeared around the injection site. It was about the size of large lemon. It was warm but not hot to the touch. The initial reaction to the vaccine was redness about the size of a silver dollar, warm and tender for about 24 hours and then resolved. The second occurrence was 4 days after the vaccine. We used ice packs and advil but the next day it was larger and redder and by 48 hours later it was quadrupled in size - roughly 8" x5". On Friday afternoon 01/15/2021, we held a telemed conference with her internist. She prescribed methylprednisolone 4mg dosepack for a total of 6 days beginning 01/16/2021, she also prescribed 7 days of 3x/day Cephalexin 500 mg, and Triamcinolone .1% cream. She also recommended hot then cold alternating packs on the affected area and using Tylenol or Ibuprofen several times a day. On todays date 01/17/2021 the redness has faded probably 30 - 50% and it's size has shrunk 20% as well. I observed my wife getting her vaccine from a nurse (I have no name) and although I could be wrong it was my impression she cotton swabbed with alcohol on an upper a smallish area on the left arm (size of a quarter), but proceeded to give the injection just above the swabbed area ?..

Patient reported redness at injection site. Patient consulted with PCP and was prescribed oral antibiotics.

The morning of 1/20/21, I awoke with a very itchy, moderately reddened upper left arm. Reddened, itchy area 3 inches X 5 inches, on outer aspect of L arm in Deltoid area. I was given the vaccination injection within this same area. The symptoms were worse Th. 1/21. Called Dr. He believes it is an allergic reaction. Discomfort continues. Only relieved by cold compress, ice pack.

Pain/tenderness at injection site for about 4 days; pain subsided but red rash about 3"x4" appeared about day 6 with moderate itchiness. Does not seem to be getting worse over next 2 days.

Redness,swelling, itching, pain elbow to shoulder. Blisters and rash on hands and lower arms that itch and burn. Looks like blisters. Steroid pills and antibiotic, and Benadryl prescribed by emergency room on 1/23/2021. Still experiencing reaction

1/16 injection site was extremely sore and disturbed my sleep. 1/17 the soreness was improving. There was a small rash 1/21. 1/23 the rash got heated and very itchy and I could not sleep. I applied Biofreeze. The rash is the same but irritation has calmed down.

Symptoms started to show after 6 hours from having vaccine administered. Patient had stiffness (unable to sit back down from standing position), blank stare, depressed breathing and fever. Transferred to ER, seizures were witnessed. IV Keppra was initiated. Patient was discharged after 2 days and followed up with primary care provider in clinic. Primary provider documented that cellulitis is noted in right arm and antibiotic has been initiated.

On 1/24/2021 I noticed that the site of the injection looked bruised and had some red rash around it. The site was warm. By the morning of 1/25/2021, the rash around the site has increased considerably and the site remains warm to touch. I feel slightly clammy but have no fever.

After one week, my left arm became red at the shot site. It was swollen, and itchy. This lasted for a couple days.

a 2 inch red round circular rash about 2 inches below injection site. Appeared about 10 days after injection. no itching & rash seems to be disappearing about 3 days after it was noticed. No fever or body aches noticed.

Redness and swelling in site of injection still present 10 days after shot. My arm was sore for a couple of days as expected, no other symptoms following the shot. I began experiencing a headache January 24th and woke during the night sweating. No temperature last night or today.

Itching began Thursday 1/21/2021. By Friday, my arm at the injection site became red, hot and very sensitive. By Saturday, it became even more swollen-2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Sunday, it seemed to calm a bit. Today, Monday, it is still sensitive, pink, warm an not as sensitive.

1 week after vaccine the patient experienced a 5-6 inch red area extending down her arm. She reports arm feeling funny, almost numb, she also noticed a rash. I seen the rash today ( 1/25/2021) it is almost resolved.

Itching occurred around the injection site at 6:15 P.M. and has continued until today (1/25/21.) This has improved. Itching on back (rash formed) started Saturday (1/23/21) at 10:00 A.M. and continued until today. (1/25/21.). Improving some now.

1 week after vaccination, patient developed a palm sized red itchy rash with hard, swollen area in the middle of her upper arm about 3-4 inches from where her vaccine was administered. Was almost gone within 5 days with no treatment.

On 1/26/21 the patient called to report that on 1/23/21 she woke up and noticed a very large red area on her arm where she received the vaccination, it was warm to the touch and sore. She denies muscle pain and is able to move her arm without pain. She states over the next few days following 1/23/21 the redness increased and continued to be warm to the touch. Patient did call and discuss with her physician.

One week later she woke up with an itchy, sore & red arm. Took Benadryl and the itchiness went away by the next day. The red area is now fading.

Arm redness still present after 1/11 dose until present date 1/27. Area of redness seems to be growing in size.

pt stated she has pain, swelling and redness in the left arm at the injection site. Also has some fatigue.

Arm where injection was received started to hurt 01/26/21 with swelling, redness, warm to touch and itching. Applied cortisone cream for itching with much improvement. States today redness, swelling, and itching is better but not resolved yet.

On 8th day after after the Moderna COVIDvaccine, I awoke and noted that site of inoculation on left upper arm was very itchy with a 2x3 inch raised, red hive. I felt woozy, unsteady, a bit short of breath, a small headache, a bit of nausea,& fatigued. These symptoms subsided gradually over the next 4 days.

On 8th day after receiving the Moderna COVID vaccine, I awoke and noted that site of inoculation on left upper arm was very itchy with a 2x3 inch raised, red hive. I felt woozy, unsteady, a bit short of breath, a small headache, a bit of nausea,& fatigued. These symptoms subsided gradually over the next 4 days.

At 8 days post vaccination, severe itching at injection site, along with slightly raised and warm rash. Rash has traveled to a larger area on the upper arm and continues to be itchy, raised, and warm to the touch 12 days post vaccination. The itching is no longer severe, but the rash continues to travel on the upper arm.

THREE DAYS AFTER RECEIVING VACCINE i AWOKE WITH A RED, RAISED, DIFFUSE RASH COVERING BOTH ARMS AND UPPER CHEST--RASH WAS WORSE ON UPPER ARMS AND UPPER CHEST THAN ON LOWER ARMS RASH WAS NOT PAINFUL, NOT REALLY ITCHY. THREE DAYS AFTER RASH APPEARED (1/23 OR 24) SKIN STARTED FLAKING/PEELING OFF BOTH ARMS AND CHEST.

Pt stated about a week after covid vax her arm was very sore, swollen, red around the injection site and headache. Pt states she still has a red spot but the swelling is better today.

Large 2" x 4" red, itchy area appeared on left arm exactly one week after vaccine was administered. Primary care doctor checked it on 1-23-2021 and thought it was inflammatory response to injection .No treatment advised except to re-check in a few days.. It is slowly going away but not completely gone as of 1/28/21 and was rechecked by doctor today.

After i had my injection about 7 hours later about 4-5 o'clock I was sitting in a chair and I got up and my balance was completely off and I almost fell into glass table. I felt very foggy and my head wasn't right. I had to hold on to things and I sat down and I kept saying I just didn't feel right. I called my daughter and my arm was hurting and I figure that's what happens, I was getting so tired and really bad headaches. My daughter asked somebody and they told me to take extra strength Tylenol (500 mg ) 2 at a time 6 hour intervals. Which i did i got up the next morning and i had to go back to bed i had no energy. I felt horrible. When i did get up in the afternoon all of a sudden i had horrible chills and that day in Florida it was 82 degrees and i put the heat on 84 and i was extremely shaky and cold. I went back to bed and later i did have a fever, not highs, it only went to 100.8 but during the evening it did break because my sheets were almost saturated. Yesterday morning 1/27 Wednesday i felt better, fever had gone down, pain was still there in my arm and swelling. I thought that was natural. In the afternoon i decided to take a shower and i noticed my left arm around the injection site was a red rash about 7inches long and 4-5 inches wide which i had to seen before i called my primary doctor just to make sure this was normal around injection site and talked to the nurse and she thought it was normal. But if there was no changes to call her back on Friday. Last night not able to sleep i saw an article that said COVID arm rash seen after Moderna vaccine, annoying but harmless it was a large article and it made me feel better but there were only 14 examples but they believe there were more because they were younger people with the health dept. that received this vaccine. It said in 1week it should go away. I still have it, its still red and sometimes itchy and i am happy to say now that i know it will be a week i feel better. it should be on the list of side effects for all.

One week to day, January 28 , 2021, woke up with itching and huge swollen area on left arm at injection area, area red and feverish. Health dep closed that day. Called them next morning, told to me call my primary care doctor. Went to doctor that day, told allergic reaction, put on 800 mg Motrin every 8 hours plus a Zyrtec for pain and swelling. Knot started going down, turning to fluid filling entire arm, into left breast. And under arm Into back area.

PT RECEIVED VACCINE ON 1/25/21. UPON COMPLETION OF HER ADMINISTRATION FORM, SHE HAD NOTED THAT SHE CONTRACTED COVID OVER THANKSGIVING. I HAD WARNED HER THAT SHE MAY STILL HAVE ANTIBODIES WITHIN THE 90 DAY TIMEFRAME AND SHE MAY POSSIBLY HAVE A STRONGER RESPONSE TO THE VACCINE, HENCE MORE REACTION TO IT. SHE CALLED THE PHARMACY ON 1/28/21 STATING SHE HAD STARTED PRESENTING SYMPTOMS OF A REACTION 24 HOURS LATER ON 1/26/21. SHE COMPLAINS OF SWOLLEN AND ITCHY ARM AND GENERAL BODY ACHINESS. SHE TOOK ACETAMINOPHEN TO RELIEVE ANY PAIN EVEN THOUGH HER SYMPTOMS STILL PERSIST. I SAID SHE COULD US COLD COMPRESSES AND BENADRYL TO FACILITATE. I TOLD HER TO CALL HER PHYSICIAN AND TO ALSO CALL US BACK IF NO BETTER.

I received my injection on 1/25/2021 I had my second COVID shot, everything went well, I just had a little pain and swelling and was fine. About 7 hours later i got up from chair and i was dizzy and my balance was off and i almost fell into table. I didn't feel right. I went and sat back down and i was very tired and i started getting headache. I called my daughter and a nurse she knows told me to take extra strength Tylenol 500 mg take 2 every 6 hours. I started at 730 and went until 130. I slept on and off and got up Tuesday and my arm was still hurting. I was very tired and had no energy. When i got up later in the afternoon i had extreme chills. It was 83 degrees in Florida nd i turned heat up to 84 and i was still shaking. I got under covers and had a fever it was 100.8. Went to sleep that night and fever broke. Got up Wednesday and felt a little better, still had headache and tired. Decided to take a shower. I noticed my left arm where the injection was was all red. 6-7 inches long and about 5 inches wide which i never saw before. after shower I called my PCP I contacted the nurse said she thought it was normal and if there was no change to call her back on Friday. my arm is still red and warm i went to sleep but couldn't sleep. I saw an article about COVID arm rash seen after Modern vaccine and now i know that's what I had. I feel better after I read it in the magazine today and it said it will only last a week. This should be listed as a side effect so nobody else wonders what it is. I drank so much water because it said to drink plenty of water and i tried to use arm as much as possible.

On day of shot, after I got home, I had tingling in my mouth, dizziness, and slight tightness in my chest. The next day (1/27) I woke with chills and fever ranging from 99 to 102.4 degrees. And a severe headache., also very tired....Stayed in bed most of the day. On 1/28 I broke out in hives on my chest and stomach. Also have very sore muscles, especially in my legs, and shortness of breath.

24 hours s/p receiving a vaccination in the R deltoid, the patient noted R distal ulnar redness, swelling and discomfort. The next morning the swelling got worse and she also noted similar swelling around her Left Hallux Longus (similar to a pseudogout reaction). No intraoral swelling. Speaking clearly in full sentences. She has never had similar reactions such as this nor has a h/o pseudogout or polyarthritis.

Developed a rash, inflammation, even with and directly under shot spot on left arm, size approx 4 1/2" long and 2 1/2" wide, kind of sporadic. It itched, became red, warm. Starting to become lighter in color on 1/29/21. Left message for Dr. he/she was not in on 1/28/21. Still waiting for call back. Hopefully it will go away. Since it has not totally gone away, I said "No" to Item 20.

On day 8 after injection my arm was red and blotchy all around the site. It is not sore. It looks like ?Covid arm? that I have seen a picture of.

One week after injection, the injection site began to itch and turned red with some puffiness about the size of a quarter.

Slight sore arm for 3 days, but then on the 8th day intense itching and very hot. It is now Jan 30, 2021 and the area is still itching, tho less, and is still hot. There is a 1/4" wide reddish ring in a circle of about a 3" diameter around the shot site. Today I put a cold compress on it and was surprised that as soon as I took it off after about 10 minutes it was still hot. I am worried about having the 2nd shot in the same place.

One week after the shot I have a large red spot in the area about 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. No soreness but maybe little itching

Flat red rash developed around vaccination site 8 days after inoculation. Not itchy or painful at this point, feels warm. After inoculation only minor arm soreness for 2 days. Putting Aquaphor Healing Ointment on. Already take nightly small dosage of Atarax generic.

Moderna Covid-19 Vaccine EUA. 2:00 am 1/28/2021- woke up feeling queasy, joints in legs were achy. My left knee replacement felt like it was in a vise, This was a short lived event with some residual feeling in the knee in the morning. 3 days after injection 10:00 pm 1/30/2021- I noticed a small rash on my left abdomen near the navel, this rash moved quickly to the left and soon covered entire left abdomen, moving to the groin area then down left inner thigh. I took a Benazepril and went to bed. During the night I woke up several time with a strong pressure in left bowel area. Changing position seemed to help and went back to sleep. woke up about 5 am and checked the rash which was mostly gone except for the original spot where it began. The rash and pressure seemed to be restricted to front left side below waist area. It is now 11:00 am 1/31/2021 and I am feeling fine, very little residual rash at initial site. I had not read anything about delayed reactions as late as 3 1/2 days after the injection so wanted to report this event.

Upper right arm became swollen, red and painfull 10 days after the shot was given. Went to urgent care doctor and was told there was an infection from the shot or a reaction from the shot. Doctor gave my an injection of Rocephin 1g IM. I was prescribed 500MG of Keflex PO 3 times per day. Symtoms got worce and went back to primary care doctor. Doctor stated that I should continue with the same treatment and return for further tests if the condition did not get better.

Eight days after first Moderna injection, I developed a rash over a large area of my upper left arm starting just below the injection site. It is red, warm, and burns/itches. Now, on the second day of the rash, it is somewhat larger, and still burning/itching. I saw my health provider the second day, and was told to treat it with ice, antihistamine, and Tylenol. She said it is consistent with a delayed allergic response seen 5-9 days after Moderna injection. I can't comment on my outcome, as this is only the second day.

6 days after shot my arm became itchy at the site of the shot and soon enlarged to maybe 6 inches wide and swollen to a deep pink color. I took an antihistamine and the itching got better but the swollen area has gone down to my elbow. I have no pain but should I be concerned or seek medical attention?

9 days after injection she developed a 3 inch wheel around the vaccination site. The arm was swelled and reddened and the site itched

A few hours after receiving the vaccine my arm started to become sore. On 01/28/2021 my arm started to become pink and very itchy. The next couple of days it remained very itchy, started light pink and got pinker never got really red color. On Sunday 31st in the morning it looked normal but later in the day it got pink again. Yesterday and today it is fine besides it is itchy. I have not been scratching it. One day I put some Benadryl cream on it one time.

On the evening of February 1 had itching at vaccine site. Saw a large red area. No pain. Now, February 2, the red area is still there. The itching is less. No discomfort. Just wanted to report it in case it is important.

10 days AFTER the shot, a 3-4 inch bright red circle appeared. It was HOT to the touch. It faded after 3 days.

Pt. C/o pain onset in Left arm, about an hour after receiving shot. Said pain was severe and requested pain medication. No redness or warmth noted, pt. unable to complete ROM with left arm and pain radiated from shoulder to elbow. Pain persisted through night and the next few days after disrupting her sleep and ranged from mild to severe. Continued to tx with Tylenol and ice packs. Res. does not want second dose.

Zero symptoms until February 01, 2021, am. Warm red blotch anterior and distal to injection site. That night the injection site became reddened. No pain, itching or swelling.

Edema and rash begun at injection site. Moved down arm almost to arm bend. Extreme it hing. Treated with cortisone topical cream. Edema and rash gone by Tuesday, Feb 2. Slight itching remains.

Pt. rptd. on 02/01/2021 having severe body aches, fatigue, inability to taste, (R) arm achy swollen & red "looked like bite mark", & itchy rash allover body Pt. declined injection of solumedrol benadryl or treatment. Wrote script for hydroxyzine 10mg tab, po, 1tab TID, prn. Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500mg 2tab po q8hrs prn. for body aches. Called 02/02/2021 to check on pt and no answer. Left vm.

On day 9 following the 1st dose of Moderna Vaccine, an itchy, red and splotchy rash developed slightly below the injection site. It grew pretty much across the top of the arm and down in a meandering way for at least 4 inches.

Rush (4"x2") on the place of the injection 9 days after the injection (January 31st) that lasted 3 full days.

No problem with discomfort after shot, just a little sore arm for a day. No flu symptoms. Eight days after the shot, however, my right arm started to itch in the morning, and by nighttime, the shot site was no longer itchy but swollen, red, and hot. I applied ice treatment which helped relieve the heat and swelling. Today, my arm is much better. I still have a slight swelling with a light redness around the shot site, but no discomfort, no heat. I reported this delayed reaction to the shot to my doctor?s office, and they referred me to you to report my experience since they thought it was an unusual reaction.

On January 29, my arm swelled, turned red, was hot and sore. Lasted till February 2. Took photos. Patch was 4" long and 1-1/2" wide

Administered vaccine into patient left deltoid, patient began to bleed and not clot quickly. Patient was dripping blood from vaccine site for 2 minutes, EMS was called in to confirm patient was feeling well and not pass out. Patient began to bruise and swell at injection site. Patient was coherent entire time, able to walk and move and stay for monitoring for 30 minutes. Patient denied medical transport.

8 days after vaccination, patient experienced new erythematous patch at the injection site which was painful, swollen, warm, and pruritic. Also had generalized body aches and fatigue x 10 days. This eventually resolved on its own.

Small dime-sized bump at injection site next day (January 27, 2021) after injection has grown to 2" diameter ten days later, Friday, February 5, 2021. Severe itching at injection site for approximately four days.

Pain and swelling around injection site. Continued all week, redness around site started Thursday (4th) evening. Called PCP on 5th and told to use Hydrocortisone cream and cold compress and report to VAERS.

Moderna COVID?19 Vaccine EUA On Jan 19, 2021 I received my first dose of the Moderna vaccine. I had minor pain at the injection site for 3 days. On Jan 28, 2021 I noticed stiffness and pain in both of my knees. My Right knee was replaced in 2015 and my Left knee was replaced Oct 5, 2020. I thought it was strange to have pain in the Right knee. The stiffness has increased in both knees since Jan 28. I otherwise feel fine but am having difficulty bending both knees and I have pain when I am weight bearing. I am wondering if the vaccine is attracted to artificial joints? I am scheduled to get my second dose on Feb 17. Please advise if this is a common reaction.

one week after getting the vaccination I woke up with a very itchy arm around the site of injection. It continued to be very itchy and when I looked at it it was red, with hives, and an additional red spot as well as red spot where needle had gone in. It has continued to be very itchy, and area between the two red spots has appeared bruised (perhaps from scratching). I have only rubbed it through clothing. I put on some camomile, and it was a little less itchy for a while. 3 days later, it's still itchy and red area continues.

7 th day after vaccination, arm site began itching about 6 pm. Gradually began stinging & sore by 11pm. Worse the next morning [Friday 2/5j) developed a red spot size of a nickel, then grew larger over the morning with swelling around it, 4 inches across, ver sore! Morning of 2/6 redness much larger, swelling around it worse. Felt tired & kind of like I had mild case of flu too

Client reports having a headache over left eye about 1 1/2 hours after injection. Client woke up on 2/9/2021 to a swollen face. Swelling to both eyes and "bruising" under both eyes. Client is experiencing light sensitivity. Continues to have a headache and discomfort over left eye. Denies respiratory distress and reports no rash. Recommended follow up with PCP.

patient arm was red, swollen, and warm to the touch. Injection site was hard to the touch. Symptoms started the evening of shot and continued the next few days. As of today, (2-9-21), she still had symptoms as stated above but stated she was improving. She also stated that she was going to the Dr. today for an unrelated issue and would get them to look at her arm.

No reaction after first vaccine other than soreness in injection site. Day following second vaccine, had chills, fever up to 101, and slight nausea. Those symptoms were better the next day, but it is now day 3, and I still have redness, swelling, and redness around the injection site.

I observed an inflamed itchy area just below the injection site on Day 9. The inflammation broadened and spread downward over the next two days, reaching about 7 inches in length and 3 inches in width by Day 11. I consulted a dermatologist then. She recommended a double strength dose of Zyrtec and application of Triamcinolone ointment to the inflamed area. Over the next two days, this therapy halted the spread and reduced the inflammation, so that it was essentially gone by Day 13.

Got the shot on 1/26/21, the next day 1/27/21 her arm was a little red and sore and was nauseous. Then about 8 days later, just over a week she woke up and her arm was red again and more swollen and looked like a black and blue area where the needle went in. There was a red rash around that point. The rash was larger than the palm of her hand. She was tired that day and it did go away after 2-3 days. She took Tylenol one night due to the pain to help sleep. She did not call her doctor. It has now totally resolved as of today, 2/10/21.

Nine days after receiving the vaccine, I got a rash on my left upper arm at the site of the shot. It grew steadily bigger and itched and went away in about week. I used hydorcortizone cream to relieve the itching.

Large area of swelling, hot to the touch, redness in a patch about 6 inches long and two inches wide on the arm below the vaccination site. Numbness in the right side of the lips three days after the vaccination. The numbness frightened me as I feared a TIA or return of Bell's palsy. Went to ER on Feb .7 when the numbness happened. Was examined by ER physicians, Blood work was completed, CAT scan done, cursory stroke exam completed by a PA and resident. No diagnosis was made except for adverse reaction to the Moderna vaccine. I had had COVID symptoms beginning on or about November 30, 2020. Was not treated by a doctor at that time. Just seemed like having a common cold. Have never before had any adverse reaction to any vaccination.

After about 7 days she looked at it and it was a quarter or larger area that was red, raised, inflamed area. Around it had some little smaller redness, not raised that were blotchy all over. It was a little itchy and when she touched it it was a little warm. It was not a real bad reaction, but did not feel sick just the redness. The next day it itched more and took a Benadryl, and about 2 days later it started to fade, but did merge together and got lighter and lighter in color and is almost completely gone. it is not itching anymore and is light pink.

Any problems until a week later i got arm got red and hot and now it has spread and gotten quite large.

I took the first shot of Moderna?s COVID-19 vaccine the middle of January. Two and a half weeks later, I developed a two inch rash above my right breast even though it didn?t itch or burn, if pressed, it hurt. I treated it with antibiotic ointment and calamine lotion. During that time, I experienced tiredness, exhaustion, sluggishness as well as aches around the right shoulder. I went to get a mammogram where they told me my lymph nodes were swollen on the right side under my arm. They had seen adults who had taken the shot develop swollen lymp nodes which made it necessary to retake the mammogram. I also went to the dermatologist to see what the inch rash was, he took a biopsy, and it turned out it was shingles even though I had had the shingles shots a year before.

I developed on my arm under the injection site a lump the size of a half-dollar. I became dizzy and weak. then my back started to hurt. I got a very fast heartbeat. I slept for a long while. I also had chest pain.

On 01-25-2021, I started to experience left arm soreness. I felt like my left arm was going to "drop-off" with extremely pain. I also had a high fever, was extreme cold, was disoriented, felt my brain foggy and these symptoms lasted up until 3AM. I also felt extremely fatigued. By Friday 01-29-2021, I was getting back to normal.

Site of shot fine through 1st week. Then itching, redness, swelling, pain evening of day 8. Now day 10 and about the same. I took an aspirin on day 8 and an aleve on day 9.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA Itching, hard red area the size of a soft ball. Continues today. Warm compress.

Patient stated she was having some flushness in the face and some itching. No swelling, tongue swelling, fever, or headaches. No trouble breathing. Patient has had anaphylactic reactions before and stated this was not a repeat of that. Just mainly the itching and she described it as a "cortisol flush".

Yesterday, on the ninth day following my vaccine, at the vaccine site, my arm became hard, swollen, red, with round welts (not a rash) and intense itching. Today, 24 hours later it is 50% improved. I consider this unusual and wonder if I should now receive my second dose.

Developed redness & soreness at injection site in the first day. Day the redness and soreness involved 3/4ths of my upper arm. On Day 4 I had intensive itching and by Day 7 all the symptoms disappeared.

I started feeling a stinging on my vaccinated arm early in the morning. When I got up later noticed a patch of blotchy red on my arm near where the vaccination was given. It has grown to about7 inches in length and 3 inches in width. It is warm, but does not itch, and does not appear to be excessively swollen. (does not appear to be like the hives I've had in the past, nor are their blisters) I had a similar breakout after a flu shot I had 2 years ago when it was given at the time of a hip replacement. (It, however, had blisters similar to shingles).

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA. One week after vaccination (Feb 9), area around site became red and itchy. By next day area was swollen, tender, very itchy and still red. Sept. 11 symptoms were easing. Saturday , Feb 13 itching & soreness are back.

Severe left shoulder pain, awakened from sleep at approximately 1:45 AM, 9 hours post injection. Unable to return to sleep secondary to pain.

Large red indurated area with sharp borders about 1.5 inches below the injection site (left arm). No symptoms, but warm to touch.

Redness on upper left arm near the injection site. It's 9 days out from the day of vaccination. It's the first time I'm noticing the redness. It does not itch and is not tender to the touch. (The site was tender for 3-4 days after the injection.) It's not a complete circle. Only a section of what would be the bottom of a circle is red.

Exactly one week after vaccination, I experienced redness, heat, and extreme swelling around the vaccination site. It lasted for 4 days and subsided without treatment. I did not report it at the time. It was exactly like the experience I had with Pneumovax about 10 years ago.

The evening of the vaccine started with fast heart beat, was unable to get to sleep as her heart was beating fast and she was breathing fast. She has a sore arm with a slight redness. They lasted over night and then resolved. All these symptoms have resolved.

Current: COVID arm- small patch around injection site became red on day 8, Feb.11. It is not Feb.15, and the red itchy patch has grown to 2 1/2 " by 2 1/2". For the first 2-3 days, I had headaches, chills, extreme fatigue and had difficulty breathing. I had chest pressure the first day.

On Wednesday, arm was itchy near injection site. It grew warm, swollen, and red. By Thursday, the affected area was growing. By Friday, symptoms were felt from the shoulder to the elbow.

The day after my 2nd Moderna dose, my left arm (site of injection) developed a red rash. The site was already painful about 8 hrs after the injection.

On 2/12/21 noticed that she had some itching in the area of the vaccine, a week after the vaccine. Now she has a red, roundish rash, looks like covid arm from the internet. No other problems. She put some cortisone cream on it as it itches at times.

Pt developed chest pain (EKG shows she is back in AFIB), upper abdominal pain, jaundice (labs pending), and possibly enlarged liver and spleen (feel enlarged on exam, US ordered). Symptoms began about 28 hours after administration.

Rash, swelling, itching, some lethargy and slight headache, Tylenol, Rash and itching diminishing, other symptoms gone

Patient is a 77 year old female who has completed a 45-minute observation period with the following signs and symptoms of an adverse reaction: other - itchiness no evidence of hives or skin rash upon assessment. Pt report no shortness of breath. Pt stated she feels fine otherwise. Moderna COVID-19 vaccine# 1 in series administered. o Action(s) taken: Other - benadryl giver per pt request 25mg PO o Allergy to COVID-19 vaccine documented in Allergies activity: No, o Patient advised to discuss second dose considerations with a clinician

On the 8th day following the vaccination, an itching was first noticed side effect, then as the day progressed, a red circular mark on the upper left arm appeared.. A hardness to the spot was later noticed. Over the next five days, the redness seemed to fade but the area expanded to approximately 3"x4". Today, 9 days before my second Moderna shot, the pink mark is almost invisible. There was never any pain, just itching.

02/11/21: Left TMJ pain 02/12/21: Left TMJ pain; erythema, edema, itch Left upper arm at injection site 02/13/21: increasing left TMJ pain; increasing erythema, edema, itch left upper arm 02/14/21: decreased range of motion mouth, unable to eat, pain TMJ; left upper arm problems resolving 02/15/21: to dentist - no diagnosis, source of TMJ problems. Prescribed Flexeril, Medrol dose pak, but did not take as symptoms began to resolve. 02/16/21: no TMJ pain, normal ROM, just sore. Not sure if related to vaccine, but thought I should report.

Pain and intense itching in muscle area of injection onset eight days after injection starting with mild itching progressing to intense itching and pain with minor relief from topical corticosteroid cream

Patient received her second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine from Moderna. Patient tolerated the first dose well, but her second dose on 02/12/2021 caused some adverse reactions. She experienced injection site pain, itching along her upper arm, fatigue, a low-grade fever, and facial flushing that lasted about 4 days with only mild relief from OTC ibuprofen. Recommended OTC acetaminophen to the patient and to report to her PCP for follow-up.

pain in left arm same day and a week later on Feb 11, 2021 during the evening an itchy rash on the left side of her neck . The itchiness last 3 days but the rash still minimally presents.

1st reaction was sore arm for 2 days. Sire to touch and achy. Week later. Arm red and hot for a few days. Next week arm sore and burning. Tingling, pins and needles, burning in random parts of body Arm, leg, face , back. Head. Every part was hit. The last two have continues through today almost 5 weeks after my shot. Went for second shot and they suggested I wait a little longer. Right now I am afraid to have second shot.

One week after my vaccination I developed itching and hives like rash. Every day it continued to get bigger. Itching stopped after two days. Rash kept on increasing in size for one week. It increased to 4 x 6?. Itching periodically. After one week it seems to be lightening up and not increasing. This is now day eight.

My arm had a big round circle and a rash. It was also itchy. I ued Benedryl every day for the next three days and then it subsided.

I felt dizzy and felt like I had covid, my O2 level was at 80 and it?s usually at 92, I also threw up. Now I stay dizzy and shaky. I had covid in November and was in the hospital for 17 days.

Red, bull's eye rash that grew over time, swollen and lumpy arm, hot and itchy. Lasted about 10 days.

Pt reported to have rash, hives on her back, size of rash/hive is approximately 12 inches in length. Patient contacted her primary care physician and was advised to take Benadryl and Aspirin as soon as possible. Rash/hives went away within several hours.

Initially, chills which has resolved. Now experiencing sensation, warm to touch, redness and inflammation to injection site (right arm)

Patient developed significant, dark purple bruising under the arm (axilla) on same side as injection but also significant bruising on left breast. Also with hives on abdomen.

COVID-19 VACCINE EUA; MY ARM SWELLED REAL BAD TURNED A DEEP RED, VERY PAINFUL, AND AS OF YESTERDAY 02/16/2021 HAD PURPLE SPOTS.

01/28/2021,approx day 7 post COVID vaccination noted LU arm itchy near injection site, day 11 noted redness LU arm, day 12 today 02/08/21, noted redness moving down arm to her elbow, appt sched with PCP. 02/09/2021- telehealth visit with PCP, not cellulitis, dx 'COVID Arm', not prohibiting her from getting her 2nd dose of Moderna. L arm still red, not bothering her, ct glad she will be getting her 2nd dose.

pt stated that she felt like she had mild side effects from the vaccine but at day 8 noticed her arm had increased swelling, redness and was warm at the injection site and surrounding area. She called on day 10 to report the reaction, she stated that it had not gotten any worse and was using cold compresses on it and taking some ibuprofen.

11 days after first dose which was given February 4,2021. The area around vaccination site developed a red ring that is 3 inches in diameter. It is slightly itchy and does not hurt. No other symptoms. Right after vaccine was administered I had small red area for about 4 days and then it disappeared. This large red area developed about Feb 16 ,2021 and is still present.

Covid Arm. Red, swollen and itchy. Lethargic. Started approximately 7 days after Moderna vaccine injection.

2/15: Red rash, swelling, firm, itchy, warm to touch. Approximately 3 inches in diameter; 2/16: red rash spreads, doubling in size, still itchy. no medication taken; 2/17: no significant change. Late afternoon, experience left shoulder ache, headache. 9:00pm 1 tablet 500mg Tylenol taken; 2/18: red rash spread; itchy along edges. 2:00pm 1 tablet Benadryl taken; Headache 10:00pm 1 tablet Tylenol taken; 10:30 pm 1 tablet Benadryl taken 2/!9: swelling, red rash diminished by 60%. Slight itching. Still not resolved.

Rash ( 2.5?x2.5?) on arm below shot site. Some itching, some heat. Discovered 6:00 pm 02/20/2021. And

red rash back of the neck, back of the left shoulder, then the front of the right shoulder. Muscles in these areas are sore. Now in the second week of the rash. Rash starts as a small red spot, enlarges to the size of a silver dollar. Seems to form a granulated surface.

She developed arm pain, redness & swelling at injection site which lasted for 5 days. 5 inches across area. Pain intense. It reoccurred again at day 10 with more redness, swelling & pain for 4 more days. Went away after about 3 days. Reoccurred with soreness on 22nd day, but this time with some soreness also in right inner wrist. No fever, headaches, or chills. Synopsis- arm pain soreness, redness & swelling off & on for over 3 weeks post vaccination

six days after shot in upper left noticed sight very itchy looked at area and noticed a circle surrounding the area (circle large) very red

On Wednesday afternoon she had a fever of 103, was very fatigued. Got up in the middle of the night and had dry heaves, went back to bed and was okay. Her arm got really red, hot and blisters all over it like a sunburn. It is down to about the size of a half dollar today. The blisters burst and have made places, is still warm and sore and looks like it is drying up. Did look like a severe sunburn. She ran a little fever until Thursday night 2/18/21. The arm is still sore to touch today, 2/22/21. She took some Tylenol the night her fever was 103, then it went to 101. The fatigue is diminishing, she has slept a lot, but wonders if her arm is ever going to be right.

Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine EUA. Rash and itching around injection site (left arm) - went to ED and was diagnosed with cellulitis. She was given a course of antibiotics (IV cefazolin 1 gm x 1 followed by a script for cephalexin 500 mg po QID x 7 days)

Chills, slight fever, fatigue on 2/17/2012, mild achyness, fatigue 2/18/21. Rash on inside of left arm lasted 3 days after injection . Took ibuprofen to help relieve symptoms. Soreness and tenderness at injection site lasting 4 days.

Red, itchy spots around the injection site but not the circle shape as in Covid arm. Mostly it is just a rash about the size of a golf ball or a bit larger. It showed up about 8-9 days after injection. I have been putting cortisone 10 cream on it for the itching and it helps some but not completely.

Problem # 1: Allergic contact dermatitis (ICD-692.9) (ICD10-L23.9) Diffuse erythematous plaque-like allergic appearing rash on face trunk arms and scalp. Timeline suggest it is a reaction to her second Covid vaccine injection. Only other new exposure was going to be pewter day prior to symptoms and eating popcorn but she has had this in the past with no problems Suggest we stated before that this is a reaction to Moderna Covid vaccine I would suggest she not get it in the future if able to We will treat with oral prednisone and continue antihistamines. Also use ice packs , oatmeal baths and calamine to help with itching She will call or portal if symptoms or not improving.

2/15 (day 4 following injection) dev rash on chest, no itch. Twelve hours later developed rash on both forearms which was itchy. Then rash dev on her back and abdomen, and dev severe itch in vaginal and rectal area. Eval in Minor Emergency center 2/19. Prescribed Prednisone orally, which she has not started, and also Triamcinolone cream which she is applying as needed. 2/21 developed rash on back of upper thighs.

Chills, fever, body aches, and headache for approximately 24 hours. Site of injection had a hard knot and inflamed for days

patient reports swelling at vaccine site 1 week after vaccine administered. swelling accompanied by itching, headache and nausea x 1 day. redness remained for 4 days

Seven days after first shot, the area of my upper arm under the vaccination site became quite itchy and a bit red and swollen. Hydrocortizone cream stops the itchiness. Still swollen but it's not a problem

Pt state a rash appeared on her left forearm about a week after the first dose. She said it lasted only a few hours.

About 5 days after vaccination injection site was very red, itchy and skin was hot..Went to primary care Doctor a few days later and was diagnosed as having an infection. was placed on an antibiotic for 7 days. Rash improved greatly and hotness of skin dissipated. I still have some redness and a measles like rash today (24 Feb21). I am concerned about getting 2 nd shot on 2 March 21.

Non raised circular rash (10cm) around injection site. Not swollen. No inflamation. No pain. Has lasted and just today beginning to fade. No other rashes on other parts of body.

Moderna COVID- 19 Vaccine EUA: patient reported a small, raised, and hard area at the injection site 14 days after vaccination that started 11 days after vaccination. During clinic visit 15 days after vaccination lymphadenopathy, erythema, and itching documented and patient reported symptom improvement. Eight days later at annual wellness visit no symptoms reported.

Pt received injection on 02/20/2021 and tolerated well. Pt contacted PCP office and spoke with triage RN on 02/23/2021. Pt woke up on 02/23/2021 and after taking her shower noticed redness, swelling and warmth at the injection site. area was 4" and now appears to be approx. 2.5" in diameter. Pt monitored the area and in the afternoon the symptoms resolved. Pt denies chest pain, shortness of breath, fevers, chills, rash/blisters and swollen glands at the time of the triage call. RN provided pt with home care instructions for her to continue to monitor for reaction to COVID vaccine, take Tylenol as needed and apply cool compresses tot he area with barrier between skin/ice as needed. Pt returned telephone call to the PCP office and spoke with triage RN on 02/25/2021 and advised the area of redness has extended to her left elbow. Pt reports no " red streak noted" its only red, warm to touch and with no swelling/pain or fever. RN sent message to PCP and recommendations received and RN contacted pt. RN advised pt to continue with ice as needed, Tylenol as needed and reviewed instructions for worsening symptoms and when to present to hospital ( increase redness/warmth/fever) and ED ) red streak/increase pain/swelling/high fever/decreased movement to left arm).

Patient reported a week after she received the vaccine she started feeling a lump above the injection site, then the lump moved down to her left hand. She reported than now the top of his left foot is swollen. She reported that this has never happened before. Patient reported that she has taken Advil, warm compressed her left foot nd she is not getting better or worse. She was advised to go to the doctor or urgent care ASAP

Redness and itching noted after second injection and after first injection on 01/27/2021. Injection on 01/27/2021 patient stated lasted for 3 weeks after injection. Stated she consults with her primary care provider and was advised to take Benadryl as needed.

Patient had swollen injection arm, red rash and chills for 7 days following administration. Also had pain in calves and ankles

On Feb. 23 or 24 I noticed that the site of the injection itched. Then on the morning of Feb. 25 I rubbed it to re leave the itching and shortly after it felt warm. I looked and an area about 2 1/2" in diameter was red.

Rash noted on trunk, right side rib cage 3 days post vaccine. Saw Nurse practitioner on morning of 02/23, Diagnosed as Shingles. Rx ordered for Valtrex, Prednisone. Started med that afternoon. I had the Shingles Vaccine in September, 2019.

Fever (102+), chills, faintness, redness on arm the size of softball. Felt as if had flu. Could not eat. Lasted all day 2/20/2021. Redness on arm visible 7 days in large area. Still have visible signs. With first shot I had a metallic taste in mouth and nose about 30 minutes after, a wave of nausea the next day and felt bad the 3rd day. Then just sore arm for 2 weeks.

On 2/26/ 2021,, when I awoke, Left arm in the area of the injection site was reddened, sore an warm to touch. This continued throughout the day.

Moderna COVID19 Vaccine EUA I received the first injection on Feb. 13, 11:00. Because I am very thin, I wasn't too worried when my arm was sore for a couple of days, but on the 6th day, I was awakened at night with an intense itch at the injection site, and in the morning I saw an egg-shaped and egg-sized bright red area and it was swollen. I contacted my doctor on line, and she recommended hydrocortisone cream and Benadryl, which I have been doing for three days. The red patch has calmed down to light pink, but it's still sore and a bit swollen. It's been two weeks since the injection and I'm scheduled for the second injection on March 13. I'm concerned that the reaction will be worse next time.

Week after injection, injection site is sore, itches with a red rash larger than a half dollar surrounding site. This started on Day 7 after injection. Today is Day 9.

Diffuse, itchy erythemic rash to left upper outer arm Prednisone 40 mgs daily x 5 days F/u visit scheduled for one week

Normal redness and soreness at vaccination site for the first few days then a 3? circle appeared at the site on the 7th day and caused itch and soreness. It is now fading away with no after effects

There was a lump in the injection site and then a red area that looked like a hive. It lasted several days. Then on the 25th my arm started to itch in the injection area and when I looked the red hive was there again and is still there today (the 26th). It is about the size of a silver dollar. It has been a week since my injection. I have not contacted my Dr. but will if it is still there on Monday.

slight chills, head hurt only when coughing day 2 friday night, slight swelling (2inches by 3 inches), redness and itching below injection site days2 to 4 (friday night to sunday). all symptoms did not start until friday around 4 or 5 pm. itching was most noticible on saturday and slightly better on sunday. washed area 2 times on saturday and changed shirts just to be careful. as of now (sunday 2pm) i just have 2-3 inch swelling . redness and itching below injection site.

On 2/27/2021, nine (9) days after receiving first dose of Moderna vaccine, injection site is red circle and warm and hard to the touch.

4x4" area increasing to 3x6" red with circle changing to mostly red. Warm. Swollen. From slightly painful first 2 days to just a little itchy by 5 day- today. Painful arm a few hours after injection, which mostly ebbed, with the redness starting about 7-8 days after injection, becoming somewhat tender, with that ebbing by 5 day. On third day ( 8 days after vaccine) Urgent care diagnosed it as a seondary infection and prescribed doxycycline. Dr. said had never seen anything like it. Took the antibiotic for 2 days and stopped. Med seemed to make no difference.

2 days after vaccination I noticed that I had a blood red bruise just under my left eye, close to nostril; I noticed blood in left nostril on 3rd day, and that evening noticed that I had redness in corner of my left eye with a red spot in very corner, which led me to reporting it here. I have not yet had contact with my doctor, but plan to call him and/or ophthalmologist tomorrow, Monday.

I have no known allergies. On February 20th, eight (8) days after first (1st) dose injection on February 12, an inflamed, itchy rash measuring about four (4) inches in diameter appeared around the injection site, on left arm. It is now seventeen (17) days since the injection and although the rash is much smaller, measuring about 1.5-2.0 inches in diameter, it is still itching on and off. I am due for the second (2nd) Covid dose in 11 days. I do not know what to expect with the 2nd dose.

Red rash appeared at injection site. Rash was not painful, but very itchy. Four days post injection, rash started to disappear.

Patient presented to the pharmacy with a 6 inch rash on her left arm around the site of her injection. The patient stated that the reaction did not occur until 8 days after vaccination. She contacted her physician and received a prescription for a topical steroid to help with itching.

Entire body ache ; Lethargic The first day. Severe rash below shot. About 2x2 inch area My Dr. prescribed steroid and moisturizer unless you have other solution

Chills, fever, weakness, aching for about 36 hours, Sore, painful arm, then 3 days post injection, swollen area covering a 2-3 inch on arm with severe itching, redness lasted about 2 days.

Started out with waking the next day a fullness in her head, but kind of a headache, and very tired. Then a couple of hours later she got a severe case of the chills. She laid down and slept on and off for about 5 hours. When she got up she took her temperature and it was 101. She also had body aches in her back and her legs felt very heavy. She then noticed a rash on her body from a line that went underneath her breast, and redness on the left side of her breast to her belly button, all red around the belly button. When she realized she had a fever she took Tylenol. The rash by Saturday was fading and she also had diarrhea on Saturday, persistent diarrhea. She felt almost normal except that she was tired. Today, 3/1/21 she has the returned diarrhea, doesn't k now if it was related to the vaccine. She spoke to a nurse yesterday, and she told that she had a typical side effect from the vaccine. She was not sure if the diarrhea was from the vaccine.

3 days after vaccine i got a Horrible rash from my neck all the way down to my thighs, and its red with fire. its covers my back and arms, everywhere. Went to Patient First and was given prednisone and told to take Benadryl but not helping .

Moderna COVID- 19 Vaccine EUA: Six days after receiving vaccine patient reported tongue and lip swelling starting soon after vaccination. Patient did not take diphenhydramine. During clinic visit seven days after vaccination patient reported chest burning, alternating hot/cold sensation, fever, facial erythema, and sensitivity to smell. No swelling or erythema noted on physical exam: findings include malaise/fatigue, tinnitus, constipation, back pain, nervousness, and insomnia. Vital signs all within normal ranges. Patient discharged home from clinic stable with prescription for hydroxyzine.

Moderna COVID -19 Vaccine Red itchy upper arm side and front in large area from just under injection site down to inside elbow. Tylenol, Zyrtec, Benedryl, Hydrocortisone cream. 9 days

3 inch diameter red rash around injection site, that was warm and itchy. It lasted about 5 days, but came back after I was out in the sun 10 days after the vaccination. That was gone after a day and after applying allergy cream.

Next day severe heat, swelling and pain at site. 2nd day severe heat, swelling and pain of entire upper arm 3rd day difficulty breathing, wheezing 4th day spasmodic coughing 5 - 12 day continued pneumonia like symptoms PLEASE NOTE: I HAD PNEUMONIA IN BOTH LUNGS AND WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR FIVE DAYS IN JUNE 2017. I HAD EMBOLISMS IN BOTH LUNGS, FLUID ON THE LUNGS, AND WAS ON OXYGEN FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS, DAILY INITIALLY AND OCCASIONALLY AFTER 4 MONTHS. Treatment: I could not reach my physician despite repeated attempts. My pulmonologist had previously prescribed a protocol of prednisone and a z-pack should those symptoms recur. Day 6 after vaccine I began the protocol. Day 10 saw improvement in breathing and coughing. Day 14 symptoms resolved. Day 14 (Feb. 16) to Present (March 3) no unusual symptoms. Some nasal congestion and mild occasional wheezing, consistent with pollen season and my usual COPD symptoms. Thank you.

One week after the injection, I developed an itchy red rash just below the injection site. The rash was about 2" in diameter and lasted about a week. There was no swelling or soreness and the itchiness was mild. The rash went away on its own. No treatment was needed.

Patient stated she received second dose of Moderna 2/26/2021. She stated she had some seide effects for a couple days and that was it. She stated she now has discomfort at the injection site. RN asked if she tried Tylenol or Advil and she stated she did but it did not help. RN reviewed trying acool compress at the site.

Delayed reaction at injection site. Rash, itching, hardness started approximately 9 days after vaccine shot. Rash was 3 inches by 2 inches. Resolved complyin 3 days.

2-24 hours post injection - inject site soreness, chills, flu-like symptoms 24-33-symptoms diminished-only site soreness 40 thru 96 hours - EVENT - repeat of increased site soreness, flu-like symptoms, achiness w/ radiating pain (various locations) esp thorasic muscles

7 days after my shot I work up with a very sore arm and it was itchy. I saw a large oval reddish flat rash, approximately 3 by 4 inches at site where I got my Covid shot. It remained sore and itchy for about two days. The rash went from red to pink and took 13 days before it went away, actually I can still see the outline of it as I go into my 14 th day. I treated the early symptoms with ice and an antihistamine cream for the first three days.

Received vaccine on 2/17/2021 at the healthcare facility. States about 6 days later on 2/23/21, her L arm became extremely sore, itchy and swollen. Also, looked severely bruised from just above the site the vaccine was given down below the elbow. Saw MD on 2/24/21. Reports taking Plavix and doctor told her the Plavix could be a contributing factor to the severity of the bruising. MD advised pt. that the pain to the L arm and the bruising was likely related to the COVID-19 vaccine.

On 3/1/21 at 11:00 AM I received my second dose of the vaccine Moderna. I was fine all throughout the rest of the day. Upon awakening early on the morning of the second, I had moderate aching in all joints, headache, weakness and fatigue. I stayed quiet for day. Upon getting ready to shower on the morning of the 3rd I found I was covered with an angry bright red rash from my neck down to my knees both front and back. Because I did not shower on the 2nd of March I have no idea when it began. On Thursday my head still felt pressure but felt a little stronger and that evening I again showered and the rash looked less angry and bright. Waking this morning on Friday the 5th the rash is gone and I am feeling much better except for soreness in the armpit of the right arm that received the injection.

Early evening post injection sore arm. 9 pm onset of chills, fever, continuing through night and following day. Accompanied by severe fatigue, loss of appetite. Treated with acetaminophen. Fever and chills gone morning of 3/4, but severe fatigue persisted. Morning of 3/5 feeling better, but lightheaded. Improved throughout day and 3/5 evening pretty much back to normal. No medical attention required.

Covid arm Sudden swelling, burning/itching, and redness at injection site 10 days after vaccine administered. Used benadryl gel to stop the symtoms that lasted 5 days.

(1) Itching at site that resolved after 1 week. (2) Knot in arm occurring after 2/5/21 injection and still on prominent 3/5/21. Nurse at facility said resident had not seen the physician for this condition.

I had no reaction to the first shot , except sore arm for one day. After the 2nd shot, the next day I developed a high fever (103) and chills. I called urgent care that evening to see how to bring the fever down. They told me that was my body building antibodies. The fever "broke" later that night. I never have gotten rid of the chills. I did not see a doctor for this reaction. During this time, not exactly sure of the dates, the cardiologist started me on a new medicine - Verapamil. I thought the chills might be from the medicine. She reduced the dosage due to low heart rate, and I'm still taking the medicine. I now have a rash on my side and on my left thigh, which is blotchy, red, and itchy. I do not know if these reactions are from the medicine or from the vaccine, but I suspect it is the Moderna vaccine. The chills are mostly centered in my legs. They are not letting up. I have not seen my doctor about the rash yet. I have had the rash for a couple of weeks, trying to get rid of it myself.

One week after receiving the injection, her face suddenly became very swollen and quite red. Despite visits to two emergency rooms and an allergist, she has gotten no relief from the swelling, which continues to increase over time.

After 1st dose on 1/29/21, pain at shot site, some redness & swelling. Tired for 2 days. After 2nd dose on 2/25/21, pain at shot site, redness & swelling. On 2/26/21, heavy chills, short of breath, face flushed, temp 98. Pain in low back & right upper arm (torn ligaments). Pain more severe than previously. 2/27/21 Shot site sore, itchy, red, swollen, short of breath, headache. Heavy chills towards evening. 2/28/21, Light pain at shot site, site swollen, warm to touch, labored breathing. Shakey, anxious, doom & gloom, food seems tasteless. Evening feeling better, swelling down, flashes if left eye. 3/1/21 arm itchy, no swelling, arm aches slightly. Pain in low back severe, right arm pain. There was only 26 days between the two doses. The pain in back may be from scoliosis. Pain in right arm, torn ligaments. But after receiving vaccine, these pains increased tremendously, as well as the shortness of breath and extreme groin pain (maybe from fibroids?).

41 hours after vaccine, diarrhea, vomiting for approx 12 hours, 49 hours after vaccine began severe hives and itching for about 15 hours

A red spot appeared on my back. I thought it might be ring worm but it was gone in a week. Also my shoulder was sore for about a week. After my second shot a lump formed in my arm pit that was extremely sore. It was gone in two weeks

red hurting itch rash on L arm of vaccination site, changed to triangle shape day and 2 weeks after, still having pain and lost range of motion in that arm, ongoing 1 week red hurting itchy rash on R butt cheek, then on both butt cheeks 2 weeks after, took Zyrtec 3 day and tar cream RX by Dermatologist, clearing up

Site of shot swollen,red, itchy, sore approx 3 inches long 1 inch wide later 7 days and went away Called Dr. Said it should last approx 1 week. Put a hydrocortisone OTC cream to help itching

Huge red swelling on arm site of injection?- hot, burning, itching. This is subsequent to redness and some heat first three days after injection which had dissipated. This reaction is very bad.

scratchy feeling on the outside of her throat, dizzy and light headed. She carries an EPI pen for allergic reactions.
